This was the first winter I've not visited Rocky and how I missed it. Next winter for sure, and I'll be there at the end of May . So enjoy your videos, Erik! Thank you.

We really enjoyed your video. We have never visited in February, but it sounds like lots of fun. We have visited RMNP in every month but January and February, so we need to put these months on our bucket list.

Kim and I enjoyed meeting you in the Bear Lake parking lot last week. We used your videos in preparation for our trip and also enjoyed your “Hiking Rocky Mountain National Park” book as an invaluable reference. Being from Pensacola Beach, we were out of our element in the mountains but, thanks to you, our first snowshoeing hike was a success. We had so much fun! Your gallery in town was amazing. We purchased a calendar there.
Please keep the great videos coming! We’ve watched many about RMNP and you are definitely the most thorough and professional.
    Best wishes,
    John and Kim

We have visited twice in February and loved it! The beauty and quiet is a treasure. We loved snowshoeing. We avoided weekends so there were not a lot of people, which is a nice change from the rest of the year!

As I watched the first 18 seconds of this video, the answer to your question was an immediate and resounding "no!" haha. But you almost convince me :) Thanks for the video!

Fair enough! I’m a winter lover and realize not everyone feels the same about snow and cold. 😀

I am too, growing up in Canada, but I get scared of getting lost, since I'm the most directionally challenged person you might know, and I don't like being in the cold too long. When I was a girl I had a newspaper delivery route and my fingers and toes are now extra sensitive to cold. And I am in no shape to hike anyway. But the beauty and quiet of the snow? Well, there's just nothing like it!

February is a great time to visit. Less humans.

Hey I just recognized your name. I've met you. I have a beautiful picture of the Keyhole at sunrise made by you! We had a conversation about hiking Twin Sisters vs Estes Cone.@@ErikStensland
