    Sorry about the audio I turned it down in the edit, turns out it was way too low. It would’ve been too loud otherwise.
    This was also trial and error I hope anyone can learn from this.
    This is probably the cheapest lift you can do for your Sequoia.
    Tundra and Sequoia front ends are the same. The rear end is DIFFERENT!
    Thanks for watching.❤
    0:45 why I wanted to use the rancho struts.
    1:15 how to adjust the dampening 1-9
    2:07 why I used the old man emu rear shocks and springs.
    3:13 1stgenoffroad website
    3:53 gorancho website and incorrect info
    4:39 rancho does not make rear shocks for the sequoia, tundras are not the same.
    5:39 picture of my sequoia squatting and why not to use rancho rear spring spacer.
    6:12 end result and additional info. Thank you!🙏 ❤

    I was looking for something to do this with and your video was real helpful. I have a four inch lift in the back but nothing up front. So mine rides like a mad max truck. But this is going to help alot. Thanks so much. Also does your truck feel too heavy

    Hey there, so I have an 03 sequoia and I installed some eBay struts in the front and now it sags a tad bit unloaded and it really sags after a bit of weight. All OEM except the front eBay struts which did raise it a bit. I can’t find stock length springs for the rear so would the Rancho spacer help give it some rake? And did you install the spacer with the stock length shocks?

    • @Unclesteve16
      @Unclesteve16  3 місяці тому +1

      what inch lift for the front struts did you buy? If you buy exactly what i showed you will get the same result. The rear spacer lifts the rear end 1.75. I dont recommend the rear spacer or ebay struts.

      @@Unclesteve16 it was stock length struts for the front, and it’s still the original stock suspension from factory in the rear. Thinking of doing a spacer or airbags in it

      @@OverlandSeries if your rear shocks are old, or leaking they will tend to sag. The rear shocks i have will raise up too 2.5 inches. The spring determines the hight. So yes you need the extra length rear shocks, to go with the taller springs.. or else you might max out the shock causing a sag. Do you bro, im just not a fan of spacers… Good luck 👍 Thanks for watching!

    Nice sequoia Steve. I just picked up an 06 that came with rancho coilovers front and the spacer/dtock spring back. The guy added air bags in the back as well that eliminated the sag. Question, my front tires 265/70/17 seemed to wear faster than the backs, and the truck wanders and shakes at 65mph+. Do you think these stnthoms are due to not upgrading the upper control arm? Leme know how yours drive. Thanks

      @Unclesteve16  2 місяці тому

      @@zzfinaldropzz i think your tires wearing is due to a bad alignment and or your strut are blown out. Or what setting on the rancho coilover do you have them on should be 1-9. Check your lower control arms and ball joints also, my upper control arms are the only thing i haven’t replaced. The uppers dont really go bad. My sequoia drives great. 👍

      @Unclesteve16 thanks for the response Steve. the struts seem fine with no leakage, I just changed OEM LBJs, and in the process of changing UBJs, but deciding if I should get some aftermarket UCAs for a better alignment and articulation.

    • @Unclesteve16
      @Unclesteve16  2 місяці тому

      @ you can change the upper control arms and get some quality ones, usually new ucas come with new ball joints. I was looking at getting Icons. Good luck man!
