I missed the opportunity of getting one in good condition for just 200€ from a craigslist here in Spain. I regret it a lot.

Nice to hear you guys discuss your locally (sort of) produced watches. Fantastic collection! Lots of passion for watches. I love my Poljots and Vostoks. They are so reliable. Built like tanks!

    Poljot "csörgő" alarm 😁
It was such a fun to annoy the teachers and classmates in school. I have a rare one with blue dial and gold plated round case with a flat glass 😁

I Saw Some Russian Made Branded Watches In The UK Web Based Store Price US$ 1699.00 Above When I Saw It I Was Really Shocked It's Mean Russian Made Some Watches Also Damn Expensive Like Their One Man's Race S-400 & S-500 Game Changing Hi-Tech Air Defense Systems. I Do Believe That Russia Has More Than Enough Skills, Expertise, Resources, Ats & Technologies To Build Premium Branded Universal Classy Watches Like A Swiss.

Quartz Breitling watch. Tenuous Soviet link. Lots of fake Big Zero dials. Raketa 2609ha movement is awesome. My friend has a Copernicus. Same amazing Raketa movement. I have older Poljot alarm watch still working.
My oldest soviet watch is a Kirovskie watch made in 1939 at the 1st Moscow watch factory.
My favourite soviet is my Volnya Precision watch from the 1950s.
A russian version of a Venus 175 Chronometer watch. Excellent.
I have a Zakaz 1945 1985 Komandurskie hacking handwinding watch.
Digressing a bit I also collect Sea-gull and Shanghai Diamond Chinese watches.
I have a Sea-gull 1963 column wheel chronograph reissue Pilots and Dress watch. I love it.

I've just ordered a used K9 Vladivostok military soviet era quartz watch today. It looks legitimately from the soviet era. Worn down bezal, slightly faded white face. Was wondering if you know anything about them ? I can't find any imformation on them. I've found 2 others for sale on a site called Worthpoint so i know they the brand are out there.

Yugoslavia was not in the eastern block or russian in any case. It was socialist neutral country with equidistant policy toward NATO and eastern block.

Yugoslavia was a formal member of the Eastern Bloc, but had no notable ties to the Soviet Union. In fact, it was a master of playing the USSR and the West against each other for its own benefit.

In August 1971 the U.S. Dept. Of defense paid $2.000.000.00 to Hamilton watch comp. for precision watchmaking equipment.
This equipment was used in fabricating bomb and artillery shell fuses, aircraft timing gear, pinions and similar military components.
Most Soviet watch manufacturing equipment has been supplied from the United States and Switzerland.
In some cases the Soviets used copies of these foreign machines.
