THIS...sexy-slinky-sleazy jazz sound, and Big Band Swing, Outlaw Country, Motown-era R&B, Funk in the style of Parliament/Funkadelic, early 90s-style Grunge, Punk in the style of Iggy Pop & the Stooges/Television/Ramones/X-ray Spex, dark 80s-style music in the vein of The Cure/Romeo Void/The Smiths, blues in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan/Buddy Guy/BB King, transgressive folk a la Bob Dylan, and the Madchester sound...these are the types of music that should be dominating the airwaves in the 2020s decade. @Kevin McCullough You're right...plus Run-DMC, Outkast, The Fugees, The Roots, The Pharcyde, Missy Elliott, MF Doom, Grandmaster Flash, Bootsy, Toots and the Maytals, Kool Keith/Dr. Octagon, The Melodians, and probably several dozen others...but radio stations are either owned by Clear Channel or Viacom, and neither have the cojones to play real music, just recycled garbage...okay, rant over.
I could only imagine this is what the sailors would have called "Sirens". Nice to hear that unique voices still live and no auto-tune is required.
This song always reminds me of "The Blues Brothers", one of my all-time favorite movies. Great job!

Just STUNNING Singers..... The Song is just Amazing....
I had long since resigned myself to having only When I Get Low, so a new song is a rather pleasant surprise.
The “When I get Low “ was such a great sounding trio and perfect video it’s hard to beat. This new group with only one original singer ( it’s her band) is also pretty good.
Excellent production on sound and visuals. It was smart to try to recapture a taste of the original “ when I get low “ and it looks like it might work better than other variations I’ve seen Nastaja try .
It’s hard though, as the original trio had that extra ‘something’ which I do think was the utterly watchable original blonde who was compelling to watch and had that quality in her voice ... she just was ‘magic’.
I want to love this song and trio version too but maybe a bit spoilt by the other. Which is a bit unfair as Nastaja is the backbone that makes this all work so well .. she just had a magic formula with the original blonde. So it was a pity it couldn’t prevail!!
Maybe keep giving us some more songs of this calibre and I’m sure we’ll adapt !!

My sentiments are the same; the first video was near perfect . . . .tough act to follow, I guess. This is good, but I thought the chemistry/voices of the other line-up was something beyond exceptional. And, again, the video was about as good as it gets.

Love this . I could never sing or play but my feet were a different story when it came to dancing the dances of this era. One of the worse thing about getting old is memories that can not be repeated or is that really true as you watch these artists.

It's nice seeing old jazzy swing and vintage songs getting a revival. The genre deserves it and though this song in particular isn't quite my thing the artists are very talented.
A fabulous postmodern take on a classic track performed by talented souls who adore vintage style while upholding modern values . Really can't see where any negativity is coming from...

When I was in 8th grade, I sang this for my friends and got them to repeat after me on the "hi-di-hi, hi-di-ho," part, mainly because I wanted to draw attention to myself. Only now when I understand what the lyrics mean do I regret ever singing it.
It's because Minnie's on drugs that she's having that dream about the King of Sweden giving her all that stuff.
