    Thank you for this! My father was a radio gunner in the south pacific in the Marine air corps variant PBJ25 he was with VMB-443. I want to build a kit like this to honor his memory although I'm nowhere near your level this really inspired me especially with the lights & engine sounds! as always you achieved amazing studio-quality craftmanship on this!

    Absolutely incredible! What method used to achieve the aluminum metal finish (paint, foil, etc)? Thx

      Thanks for the kind words! I used Alclad Airframe Aluminium over a base of their gloss black. It does give a lovely finish - if you have the patience to keep unblocking the airbrush when using the very think & sticky black base!

    Where did you buy this model? I do these details from scraps I salvaged from other electronics but without the engine sounds

    Great job. I'm almost not worthy. (lol). I have this kit in my stash, just hope to achieve this level of excellence.

    Must be green engines... wheres the smoke?? Excellent job!!

    The engine sound is the same as all the other plane models. Add some unique character to each type. Plus it'll look better at start up if you could have the thick exhaust smoke on each engine.

    • @ZeddysDad
      @ZeddysDad  3 роки тому +2

      The sound comes with the electronic kits so is what it is, but magic scale modelling record authentic soundtracks for each type. B25 & B17 will sound the same because they both have the same Wright Cyclone engines. The others I have are unique to the type & all sound different to my ears.

      Wow... did not know that about the 17 & 25. Amazing what an extra pair of engines would change the sound!!

      These are static models. Sorry I’m not the original poster but I know the answer to your question. All the best! Ian

    Not sure, but the propellers are turning the same direction. In order for the pilot to control the roll of the aircraft, the propellers would have to counter rotate or rotate in opposite directions. Other scale models of this venue have that correct. In order for the pilot to control the roll the right or left aileron would have to be continually applied. All props should be spinning in towards the cockpit.

      Hi thanks for the comment. There's lots of videos of B-25's starting engines, and you'll see how they rotate on my model is correct. You're talking about contra-rotating props, which is considered a luxury on multi-engined aircraft but not all that common. The aircraft I did my multi-engine rating on had contra-rotating props (BE76 Duchess) and the main plus point is they don't suffer from having a "critical engine"; they're both as controllable as each other when asymetric.
