bloody awesome job! can see you getting faster n more confident after each try. certainly a few scary moments there but looked like a blast! damn i need to get back out there haha. I love how you waited for that guy to get his shot, n didn't just barrel right in front of him... yer a guid-un Flynn! Oh boy that really irritates me, people walking on bike trails. But i feel yer anxiety in askin em to move. I usually just come at them ringing ma bell so I dont have too, but I notice you dont have one lol
Yeah I'm definitely confident in some sections, berms are definitely something I need to understand more 🥲 I understand that a lot of kids go to the bike parks and their parents/guardians want to keep an eye on them so they have to be somewhere they can see them but yeah a little frustrating but not something I hold a grudge to, yet haha!
Fully rate the progression, I’d recommend watching the loam rangers video on cornering and don’t be afraid to crash sooner the better since you always learn better after a crash🤷♂️ also how often are you using your dropper? on a ride I’ll use it upwards of 60 times depending on elevation change keep at it tho
I've actually been meaning to watch that video! Thank you for reminding me 🙂 yeah I think I'm so afraid of crashing that I take it 'too easy' in some areas. I use it once per trail perhaps, like at the beginning I drop it, then at the end I raise it again, guess I need to learn to use it more 😩 thanks for the advice though!
@@flynnrowif you don’t crash, you don’t know to take it too easy😅 keep riding tho and if ur ever riding swinley or Peaslake (highly recommend Peaslake when your comfortable with reds) you’ll see me and my mates👍
Thank you! I'll definitely take a look at those places, I have some really decent bike parks / forests near me so looking forward to branching out when I get comfortable enough :) speaking of reds... I tried some today 😩😅
More confident but not understanding where and when to break 😅 sick!! Did you buy coloured pedals? Mine are just black but one day when I get a new bike (not any time soon) I'd try to colour coordinate different parts :)
@@flynnrow I started September last year, got thrown in at the deep end at 417 flyup with some more experienced riders. Almost a year on and about 500 miles I can keep up with them now and trying to master jumps. Best thing I done was get a e-bike though, makes it so much more enjoyable, still kept my other bike though which comes out every now and again
Sometimes it's great to have the experienced riders, you're able to follow their lines and judge the speed you need easier as well, but I do understand what you mean... For people more experienced, what may be easy for them may be such a struggle for someone new, but it's awesome you stuck with it and you can keep up with them! I can't wait until the time I'm able to keep up with the guys I go with :) ahh yeah, I'd love an e-bike but unsure whether to hold off for a bit longer as they seem to always be improving!

Thank you 😁
This looks so fun.
It's so much fun, and you get such a workout!
This is way better than last time!
Thank you! I'm starting to feel it more in some sections :D
You are getting better at it ! 👍
Thank you! It's great to have the footage to look back on and see for myself 😁
