@letsgethair what's the best clinic to go to in Turkey 🇹🇷? Not a hair mill, but a place where they do 1 to 3 people only. My spending money is 5000 pound ?
he is, because I don't understand how he would not take more than 40% of the donor hair in one pass yet he performs these giga 10k+ graft session. Math doesn't add up...
Hey matt, what is your current hair-care routine? Could you do an up to daye video? I'm blown away with how good your hair is looking after these years
Have you ever thought about a strategy of overharvesting on purpose and then sumply getting SMP to cover up the over harvesting ? Also, quick question if you get SMP will this impair a doctors ability to perform a future hair transplant for example not being able to see where to extract or place hairs because of the SMP covering the scalp?
You are right. I was not including this possibility. From my beard 1000 should be possible but the survival can be unpredictable with the beard hair so I do not want to overly rely on it.
@letsgethair its definitely useful to use as a back up option. Particularly around the crown area and back of head because it looks basically the same as scalp hair you cannot tell any difference
For those who have a poor donor and always cut it to 0, would it be feasible to extract it all and then cover it with SMP or a mega tattoo? I know it sounds stupid but for example I always cut it to 0, the point is that surgeons don't accept it, but I'm of the opinion that someone like me always shaves it, it's better to run the risk of having holes on the sides rather than above the head, perhaps it would even be possible to reach the desired density
No good doctor would be willing to extract it all because it would go 100% against the proper donor area management approach and preservation of healthy aesthetics of the donor. And SMP clinics do not recommend it either as such SMP camouflage would be quite demanding and complex, requiring multiple sessions too. Imagine that in such a case your sides and back would be just a pure FUE scar tissue.

I had hair transplant in turkey 3 years ago, front worked incredible but back not so great. Planning on another transplant in future. I have no scars or anything on donor area and hair grows perfect there still, I always wondered if that area can be used again
Nice. I am doing my second hairtransplant with Dr.Zarev this year. Did he show you the patient with over 18k grafts? He said to me that he can always extract more than the "limit" of the donor area, but then the patient needs to have shorter hair on the side for the rest of his life, like 6mm at max, for it to look homogeneous. And also this is 18k grafts with only scalp-hair!!
@@tf2368 yeah, I don't care how good he is, charging more than 5 euro/graft is just gatekeeping to the rich. Zarev must live like a king making that much dough in a country where everything else is cheap as dirt.
@@vinceslapchopper I hear what you're saying. The problem is that if he still had 5 euros, you would probably have had to wait over 5 years for just one consultation. And then another 2-3 years for surgery. This is the only way to keep the queues down. But I also understand that 11 euros is too high a price for an ordinary person. 4-5 euros is possible to save in a few years with a normal income, but 11 becomes almost impossible for the middle class.
I filmed it without any plan to be honest, using my phone only and then forgot about the footage. Lately realized that I can do at least a 5 min out of it.
One doctor told me he thinks i have bupa...another doctor told me he thinks i don't have bupa, but just poor donor quality/fine hair. What should I do?
This is a random question, but I've noticed my hair appears thinner if I use conditioner and thicker when only using a shampoo! Is this a thing or is it purely in my mind or simply a coincidental lighting situation.
Hey matt i have a question this might be a little controvertial but ill try my best i started to lose my hair about 1 year ago and i did manage to stop it fully by eating right and taking care of my hair all natural but i did lose alot of hair thickness, and it was harder to style my hair because of that i just started red light therapy for my scalp combined with a strong natural hair serum and its working but im afraid its not gonna work long term for me and i was think of buying a topical dutastride that i found online that is propane glycol free and dilute it with my hair serum and combine that with a natural oral dht blocker. Now my question is are these ingredients going to interacts with each other or is it ✌️safe ✌️ Serum ingredients (Aqua, Alcohol, Niacinamide, Caffeine, Curcuma Longa Callus Conditioned Media, Panthenol, Vanillyl Butyl Ether, Sodium PCA, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Sodium Lactate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Pentylene Glycol, Zinc PCA, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Limonene, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Phytic Acid) topical dutasteride ingredients( deionized water, propanediol,Ethanol SDA 40B 190 proof, phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglicirine, dimethyl isosorbide , Sodium Methabisulfite)

Matt we both have fine hair skintype 1, many many grafts can be extracted if the surgeon is skilled with a small enough punch.

Yeah I thought of this also. Just forget the back and stick it all on the top. Most people shave the back really short already
smp doesnt look good
thats what i thought, just get undercut hairstyles lol
Im one of them, having poor donor and cutting Always at 0 would absolutely not be a problem for me to use It all but surgeons doesn't accept

How many grafts? And how much will it cost?
How did you manage that? Heard it's years waiting list
should have started perhaps with 2 futs and then later do fue so you would have maximized the total number of hairgrafts in your lifetime?
I was unfortunately at Vera Clinic in Istanbul. I can send you photos of my 90 degree hair angles fourteen months after the first transplant…

Sorry to hear man. Send them to gethair@mattdominqnce.com and I can take a look
After that many surgeries I would think the goal would be to keep what you have and then go stem cell for the patchy or less dense areas
Do you thoughts on grafts from beard/chest/stomache hair?
What else are you on ? Minox ? RU ? Do you have thoughts on PRF ?
You can usually get 2000 grafts from the beard also if not more as a back up option

You would have thought 1500/2000 max. To get 3000 grafts plus is impressive
So basically after HLC told you before your second transplant you had 1500 grafts left max, Zarev believes you have much more?
Yes

Ive never heard of this doctor.
Why masking ? Isn't your dht blocker working ? 😂
I think it slows down the hair fall but doesn’t stop it completely.
Gofyber masks, Finasteride preserves, Hair transplant restores.
3 fues???
clone them
Go for fut bro
After 3 fue probably not worth it for him at this point. Can pull it off after 1 small fue. Generally need to start with FUT
