My brother-in-law used to own a bookshop in California which Englund would frequent, like he appears in this video I guess he's a super nice guy in person
When Robert was talking about his favorite roles. It surprises me a little he didn't mention V. My first introduction to Robert was from when he was in V. In fact it wasn't till years later that I even realized he was the actor behind the makeup for Freddy.
I like when Lisa speaks of the character arc of Alice, and mentions her dad. I like that her dad sided with her when the Jordans threatened to take away Jacob. Also when he said that he supported Alice having a baby. Nice callback to the character of Rick Johnson("I hope it's a boy. It would be nice to hear a boy playing in the house again").
Brooklyn Yeah but the guy is 70 now, I don’t know how many stunts and actions he would be able to pull off at his age, also there was one time when Robbert semi recently put on the makeup. ua-cam.com/video/yXQiOcyH__E/v-deo.html
That scene was in the original script which would have had her son, Jacob be the protagonist for the remainder of the movie. That script was not used for Freddy's Dead. In fact there is no mention of Alice in Freddy's Dead. So as far as the movies go, no Freddy did not kill Alice.
Alice reveals to hero Ash Williams that her years of being a Dream Master have left her terminally ill, and she is dying. Freddy succeeds in killing Alice, who then releases her dream powers to Jacob, who then revives the spirit of the Elm Street Children
If they do Robert won't be in it. He has said that he is too old for the role now, and since we all agree that Robert is the only one we prefer to play Freddy, then no, I don't think they should make another one.
Two things hold that up. One the rights have reverted to Wes Craven's estate. Second the reboot failed. It will be hard to get another off the ground with both of those things in the way
All iconic villains are usually lovely fine people in reality...Robert Englund is one of them...
For all his artsy kind of flamboyant stuff, Robert Englund is very down to Earth and straightforward when it comes down to it.

The thumbnail looks like another shot of the "Greetings from Hell" picture from the movie.
I hate to see Freddy Krueger getting old😢 but he still an awesome😄 Legend.
He's human, like the rest of us, and sadly we ALL have to get old. Life is short, death is sure.

Freddy Krueger is the Elvis Presley of horror, a rock star.
Just like Elvis, he didn’t invent a genre, but he was one of the first people who perfected it.
@@aguyontheutube6509 yes!!!!!!!!!
He can still go for one last Nightmare n elm street movie shave the beard cut the hair lower and here is freddy once again

Robert has said he is too old to take another turn at playing Freddy. So sadly I doubt we will ever see him again in the role.
I'm just a jealous guy.
Freddy killed Alice if most people want to know were Alice in nightmare on street 6

@@BrennaUrbangirl I always assumed that if they didn't die in the movie, they just moved away from Elm Street
