Valentina language skills is very admirerable,And her work is topnotch to say the least. For a country that doesn´t have IKEA,her work should be in high demand.I plan to buy an apartment in Medellin in the near future. And i´ll for sure hit up Valentina for the interior work.
I have noticed many artesan shops in Envigado. I see shops that reupholster furniture, weave chairs, and weld shelving or furniture. Also there are shops with CNC and many with laser cutters. I like what she did with your apartment. Especially all of the plants.
This could save me a lot of hassle. How much does her interior design service cost for fitting complete apartment of 80m2? Percent commission or fixed fee?
Great question it depends on the nature of the project! If you would like more detailed info contact me via IG (cale provided the link or via email: Goldenberrymarketing@gmail.com! I would be happy to provide more interior design insignt relevant to Colombia ✨

What's going on with covid and travel? I wanted to be in Colombia by now, but decided I'm better off waiting for a covid vaccine, as I plan to be able to move around from country to country. I have an appointment to get my first shot this Saturday in Georgia. They have some of the easiest requirements and I'm flying into Atlanta on Saturday to get it. I actually may try to get the J&J, one-shot vaccine to expedite things. I'm currently scheduled for the kind you need a follow up three weeks later for. In any case, I'm well on my way to be able to head to Colombia sometime after about a month or so, which is awesome. Do you encounter any covid issues or have you just been in Colombia since the outbreak?
Hey Bret, I think everyone is wondering the same thing. I'm hoping things will get easier for international travel as the vaccine finally gets rolled out but it's sounding like a lot of countries are going to require proof of vaccination or negative pcr test (which is the current requirement). I've been in Colombia since the outbreak so haven't encountered any issues. Once in Colombia, things are for the most part back to normal. You can travel anywhere in the country, eat out at restaurants, and even go out to bars and clubs.
Hi Cale - I love Valentina’s style. I’m in Medellin the last wk of October. He has a couple of AirBnbs and a personal place in Bogota. I’d love to connect with Valentina. We have some ideas about real estate investment and already have a SAS established. This would be networking and making connections while we’re there. I’d love to see my buddy’s place “refreshed” in Chico Norte, BOG. 👍 - Keep the awesome vids coming!
@@CaleMcMartin I see. Well, I think over time the investment would still pay off because of that extra space, plus this place looks a bit nicer than the other one.
Ok, .... i enjoyed your video very much. There is absolutely no reason to import furniture from Europe nor from the USA, ... it is pure insanity. Rather there are furniture places in many places in the city of "Medellin the most innovative city in the world" as declared by "The Wall Street Journal", City group, and Forbes as well as the European Union. The furniture made in "Medellin" is actually better and very sophisticated, ... and probably very cost effective. I do like the work that the designer presented in your video, she does a very good job in decorating this apartment.
Exactly, almost all of the furniture in the apartment is custom, hand made furniture here in colombia and is about the same price as any imported junk.
20 Million is not “nothing”. That is more than what most people (earning minimum wage in Colombia) make IN A YEAR. I do understand however, that it is probably “nothing” for someone earning in USD. Beautiful apartment tho.
To me paying a lot of money for furniture is a waste of money, so I buy a lot of used. I live in Florida so there are many estate sales and many consignment stores. And I come nowhere near to spending $5,000. But then again I don't have designer tastes I just like functionality. But for someone who does like higher end furnishings this seems like a fantastic idea.
en colombia todos quieren tener su casa arreglada hay mucha de manda de eso en canbio en estados unidos los ricos comprar eso los pobres no pueden todo es donado nada se vota
Please upload more frequently man. You are the first expat I binge watched
Thanks Erick! I have many more coming!
Consider making a video about the different neighborhoods in Medellin Cale, it would be super useful for me as I still need to find an apartment!
I'll add that to the list!
Shes super talented!

Hi.I just bought an apartment in Medellin. Can i have the contact of the designer in this video?
I would change the kitchen chairs.. just my opinion..
I would put bed side tables instead of the plants beside the bed.
Love your videos
Thanks!

This is in barrio LaLinde of Poblado
Great video. Very informative.
Thanks Jim!

This place is way better than the 1100 studio and it's 300 cheaper.
Ya I like this apartment much better, it's much more spacious. It's cheaper but I did have to invest in the furnishings for this one.

Ya exactly it’s definitely worth it
