Back in the day, when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Miami in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.
If anything, it'll get worse. Very soon, affordable housing will no longer be affordable. So anything anyone want to do, I will advise they do it now because the prices today will look like dips tomorrow. Until the Fed clamps down even further, I think we're going to see hysteria due to rampant inflation. You can't halfway rip the band-aid off.
Home prices will come down eventually, but for now; get your money (as much as you can) out of the housing market and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes. If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you seek an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets.
Could you kindly elaborate on the advisor's background and qualifications?
The advisor that guides me is Sonya lee Mitchell, most likely the internet is where to find her basic info, just search her name. She's established.
Thanks, I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don’t need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.
Thanks for continuing updates I’d rather trade the stock market as it’s more profitable. I make an average of $34,500 per week even though I barely trade myself.
I’m favoured financially, Thank you Jesus $32,000 weekly profit regardless of how bad it gets on the economy
How ..? Am a newbie in crypto investment, please can you guide me through on how you made profit?
Thanks to Patricia Vesely.

Super useful for anyone's retirement plan! Who knew $100,000 could get you luxury abroad? Mind-blown and inspired!

Do you want to move to dr congo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’d never live in italy
Even if I got paid for being there
@@SpontaneousSuccess why?
In the 1980s, Colombia, DR and Panama were Not like this. Places change. Americans have to be more open minded. Media tells you not to go while investors build. Then people want to complain about politicians. Do what they do
YES !!!! 💯
supper helpful
Great video. Thank you so much. I would like you to show, please, nice houses by the beach or very close to beach for under 100K USD in Europe? Subscribed already XD
Italy, here we come!
What this fits with is four or more unneeded awnings ifs
Leave for Mali 0:00
its amezing, but be also be aware of taxes....
The right question to address is why are these places cheaper than others in these countries…
Because you can disappear and no one will know it or care.
Because not much employment opportunities for young people, so they go to big cities. But for retirees who don’t need to earn they’re just fine
We are looking in Calabria right now to buy a villa there ,
grazie gesu christo 🙏🏽
Very interesting! 😎👍😎
Florence Tuscany 💜
Ecuador is becoming unsafe as that new location for drug traffickers pushed out of Colombia.
Thanks Obama

There is nothing for $100,000 near the beach in DR, las Terrenas as today are over $350,000 for a condo
This is really deceptive as I have been searching in Spain for the past year where prices are rising very quickly. Anything under $200k is either old and a fixer upper, or set somewhere pretty far from the coast or cities. Most won't want a stone house as there is little heating in the cold or a/c in the hot summer months. Malaga is really expensive, and the towns around it, though less expensive than houses in the US, are becoming quite expensive. Also, Spain has very high tax rates for residents. If you earn as little as $35k/year, your tax rate can be 37-40%, and they will tax your Social Security at those rates. I still want to retire to Spain as my wife is getting her citizenship there, but it is not as cheap as advertised unless you are willing to be rural, which presents other problems, or in a rather small, old apartment.
The prices of houses in certain European countries are truly astounding compared to Canada. Thanks for sharing
And the US.
Don't forget the old saying...You get what you pay for and don't cry afterwards.
There's a reason these are so cheap. It may be far from any amenities so not much demand or it could be crime in the area or a myriad of other reasons.
@@BillGreenAZ That's exactly where I am coming from and the point I am trying to make.
@@BillGreenAZ Its all Greek to me? Correct, these places are not English speaking friendly. It would be difficult to communicate hence not many westerners travel there.
I bought an awesome apt in Albania Saranda. And it was my best decision.
In Albania most speak English. Saranda is full-of Americans and British. Great apartments for 100,000. Macedonia is also very beautiful. If do not know the area do not give opinion.....I'm there, I speak English. I live inn luxury apartment. Great safety!
there is no point buying a home there if you are restricted to live in those countries. like for us UK nationals, we can only stay up to 90 days only. so buying a home for 80K to enjoy 3 months a year doesnt seem like a smart deal
stilla good deal
as a tourist. If you make the commitment and spend money to buy a house, you need to make the effort and get permanent residency.
for Brits Portugal way to go! no restrictions.
open a business all these places have away in but it also going to cost money to relinquish you us stature just depends location.
very nice i want one i wish
Great list!
Another hidden gem is Sarandë, Albania 😉
Totally agree. Let the fools put it down!
Until you look under the hood. Europe is a huge hassle for foreign buyers with a myriad of EU and host country laws. As for Asia, Central and South America…have you been paying attention to Geo-Politics lately?! Africa?! These videos are for dreamers. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and never trust videos like this. Always rent in a country you’re interested in first. Good luck!
Great advise. It can save you from trouble.
Hi I am new subscriber any homes in Mexico
Being Sicilian I will tell you anything under 100K is either very tiny or a "ruin" which means complete remodel. The prices in Sicily are not far off America prices.
Right now, you could probably get a heck of a deal on a place in Ecuador.
For those who thinking france 🇫🇷 you have missed the boat. The dordogne is a beautiful part of SW france having family live there many yrs as well time spent myself. From mid October until march this picturesque beauty turns into a ghost towns as of catering for tourism spring summer as well temperature can be very cold with little to do. Prices have rocketed over the past 25yrs as for a beautiful cottage that are nothing more than basic. Jobs are different to get in the french system plus language helps alot. The dordogne is a very poor regime? Farmers living of the land. As a base the dordogne is fantastic but to live there its very basic until high season arrives again with tourists.
France is owned by UN,WHO@WEF ;we know how that ends they don’t make my list because of this
@@43bobbyg What? That makes very no sense what you're saying. You should try to live in Saudi Arabia or Russia. I think you will love it.
@@43bobbyg, good, don't go there then.
I need to get this ball rolling NOW
You can buy a big house in the countryside of Japan for under $10,000 usd. Value won't go up though. Cost of living is cheap.
This is a strange vid.
Every country is introduced with ample footage from the capital or prime tourist destinations where homes have prices in the millions.
Then you show some aerial views of remote places without mentioning the drawbacks that made these areas cheap.
The only place I'm inclined to research further is Lucca - it's near enough Pisa and has access to the infrastructure of Italy, a country that has a few problems but nothing that should ruin a retirement.
Hard to believe in these prices..
Language problem stops me. I like speaking English.
Then it'll be rural West Virginia for you...
Too bad now suffer
Some of these places are stricken by poverty and crime that’s why they’re so cheap 😂. Medellin, Columbia is literally the birthplace of one of if not the biggest drug cartels. Mexico is pretty damn cheap too but same thing poverty, crime and cartels.
There are millions of Americans retired in Mexico enjoying the cost of living. Even if you don't appreciate it they do.
Medellin improved its crime since the cartels lost much of their power there, but in the past few months crime is getting much worse. I wouldn't want to feel stuck there owning a home in this worsening crime climate.
Certain cities in Mexico have very low crime.
@@johng4093 , yes. Lots of Americans have moved to enclaves in Mexico to retire.
Medellin is beautiful haha , I’m having a lovely time here bro
The more times pass, the more large cities (like New york) and expensive countries will decline...
Look, with AI, remote work, online work, unless you are stuck in the past, it is easier than ever to earn a living remotely and more and more people will do remote job... So, why would I move to NYC to live in a 10 sq foot appartment when I can live in a beachfront / mountain view / remote property with all the spaces I need for way cheaper...?
And with the democratization of platforms like Amazon, Netflix, Ebay, shopify ect... I do not even need to be in hollywood to make movie, thank you netflix
Lebanon. Beautiful country with a lot of history. Very underrated.
I'm surprised Turkey did not make the list. I can understand Lebanon not making it.
Me too very surprised Turkey was not on this list
Did you see what that earthquake did to brand new luxury homes in Turkey last year? Everything was destroyed, because whoever built those homes, and whoever allowed them to built them only cared for money and not human life. A country that doesn't have decent building codes should NEVER be any good lists.
@@nightskylights4501 those were old homes not new ones built to current standards
@@nightskylights4501 The homes destroyed in the earthquake were not luxury homes AFAICT. They were older apartment buildings built before the building codes of 1999.
I would be concerned you would be a target for criminals in many of these locations.
you should add japan in it too
Southern Portugal used to be a good place to buy, too.
It's not good now ?.
“Used to be” is a key words
@@globalismoblackman No, because they revoked the expat/retiree friendly NHR tax subsidy. Portugal without that has one of the highest taxes in the world.

Colombia, hidden gem ? İt is dangerous, i have been there...i have been in 70 countries and İ have felt safer in Tanzania and Ethiopia compare to Medellin and Medellin is also not really a beautiful City at all.
East Africa is rather peaceful compared to most of the continent.

France is by no means cheap, and these types of homes are mainly located in small villages near big cities, but most of the time they are super old.
And they are damp and/or need a new roof.
In Finland population is not growing and houses cost nothing. You can get an livable house for 20-50k and a Mc Mansion for 200-400k. Finland is dying like Japan. That's why houses are cheap.
However I like living in Finland. It's so cheap to rent or buy here. I woud get payed at least 50% more for my work in Norway but in Norway my rent woud propably double. Now I pay 750/month in Helsinki
Amazing Amazing videos, this was helpful, because I was thinking of acquiring a new house round the world, with my $60k weekly return on swing trade.
Damn! that's huge, how do you make that much weekly? I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Oh yeah, that was possible with the help of my Guru Jenifer Spencer ❤

That's great!!. I don't know anything about investing and I intend to start. What are your strategies?
The best strategy is starting with a professional coach, as a beginner who knows little or nothing in forex market
Strange they are asking US Dollars. Never buy overpriced especially in an unknown place.
About the Philippines it is also very very cheap in the new tiger Asia economy!
Can foreigners own land there?
No

Just one quick note about Ecuador, the country is in the middle of a collapse. You might want to consider this one a pass.
In Canada with 100k you can't even buy a toilet
missing is security IE ecuador has major drug wars going on

Just remember, there is no Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in Belize

Great, that means organic is the way ..😮

I am sure that Ecuador is a captivating country.....in fact you will, most likely spend a long time in captivity because you will be kidnapped by some gang or something. So go ahead and get captivated by the beauty of Ecuador 😂
Buying a house where you can only be in Europe for 3 months, have to stay out for 3 months before you can come back for another 3 months, is not a good investment.
Overall, Panama Panama seems to be the right place for expats
And if you don't have money you can buy a tent ?
Ehem Philippines
How about Turkey Didim
Did you see what that earthquake did to brand new luxury homes in Turkey last year? A country that doesn't have decent building codes should NEVER be on any good lists. So, no thanks, I rather not have tall buildings crumbled on top of my head.
What about Asia?...
You can't legally own property in a lot of Asian countries. It's like a lease for 50 years, which for some people still works out.
Thanks for making a list of cheap shit holes to buy ! The houses all look like super crap !
You obviously don't listen to news or you are totally ignorant when it comes to Ecuador. You talk nonsense.
your definition of "luxury" is weird
He means..RELATIVE TO A METH TENT..im sure. 😆😆😆
Yep... Had a place to be rejected planning as it had not enough school for possible kids and parking... Kids...well looking around ni one can afford those anyway 😅 but 3 school are walking distance parking maybe an issue but bus is opposite to non existenting building plus s.c. with lots of buses walking distance... Lot of USA properties at a fraction of what you can buy in super overpriced Canada

France has violence & a bedbug issue...
A lot worse then that
I lived in 2 countries in your list.... they're not cheap. You're finding properties in the middle of nowhere, there's a reason they are cheap.
Another note, Northen Cyprus is not a recognised state. Recognised only by Turkey of course.
Apparently others have spotted issues with other countries in the list....I mean, could you have done any less research?
Bad advice. Never ever buy a house in a foreign land. There are endless reasons why it's a bad idea, both for you and the locals.

I would buy in Argentina a property and live with my retirement and probably invest in some small business or buy additional property for extra income. The population of Argentina is comprised as much as 95% of people of European descent, mostly from Italy, Spain, and Germany. Argentina has vast land with different weather, me personally I want to go to Patagonia.

I would suggest Portugal if I had the money I would move there
I would go to Argentina, specially now, as a real estate investor if I had the money. Beautiful country, beautiful culture and people, with very affordable living if your income doesn’t depend 100% on the local economy.$1,000 a month for one person should give you I heard a descent start.

Well this is a discriminating video… I’m Italian and even I’m asking where’s Turkey in this crap video… you’ve listed some of the worst places to live… Greece doesn’t function properly and has a lot of poverty, southern Italy is the same and most cheap homes are in the middle of nowhere in some old village which is slowly emptying as the youth are moving overseas to work.
Turkey how ever is growing rapidly, way faster than the western world since it’s an emerging market and the world is heavily investing in manufacturing and agriculture.
Being Italian I’d ask… why would you want to live in Italy… the most unorganised western country with the most red tape out of all western nations.
Nothing works, there’s always strikes especially in the south from garbage to trains… Rome once again has wild boars running through the streets because of the piles of human garbage being left in the streets because of strikes 😂
And that’s not joke either. Google yourself!
None of this homes are luxurious
