I grew up in NewEngland and frequently went to Friendly’s. I remember it being really good. I haven’t seen any in Texas but maybe I’ll check out the Orlando one next time we are there.

Oh Todd and Michelle, you’ve taken me to wonderful memories! There’s a soft spot in my heart for Friendly’s, grew up with them! I’ve had breakfast ( made some of the best and biggest pancakes!), lunch and dinner! I used to get three things from Friendly’s, their turkey club sandwich, patty melts, or fishamajig sandwiches. Loved their ice cream, usually got either their reeesespeanut butter cup sundae, or banana splits. My ex-husband was a manager at the downtown Baltimore Friendly’s, used to bring home ice cream cakes for us. Your meals looked good, especially the onion rings and Michelle’s hamburger! Oh and before I forget, love their hot dog buns, I wish grocery stores would sell them! Or the ones in England! Thoroughly enjoyed your video, and good to see Michelle!

Catching up on all the videos i missed while on vacation. Most Friendly's have closed here in PA, but I used to go A LOT as a kid and ALWAYS got the conehead ice cream. As an adult is was always the Honey BBQ chicken melt and a Reese Pieces sundae.

Living in New York at the time frindlys was really big even in the supermarkets you could by there products..the watermelon cake was always my favorite..the ice cream was great ..sadly it went out of business just due to changing of the times ..can't wait to go here when I'm in the area..everyone try it it's great .. I live about 5 blocks from there at the apartments called chat am square it used to be disney college program housing but they sold it . I live with my sisters family in a 3 bedroom
I miss our local Friendly’s. It was a franchise and had great food, great portion sizes and great prices. Sometimes we’d go twice a month. Then it closed for a while and reopened as a corporate unit. Much smaller portions, worse food quality, all at higher prices. We tried it a few times and It was so horrible, I wrote to Friendly’s corporate to complain. They sent me some coupons, but we never got to use them. A short while later it closed for good, they purposely killed it!! This was approx 8 years ago. It’s been bulldozed and replaced by an Advance Auto Parts store. We went to another local Friendly’s and found it closed; it’s since been knocked down and is now a bank. 😢😢😢😢😢

The first Friendlys opened in Springfield Mass. in 1935. They were mainly located up here.in the Northeast. So glad to see they made it to Orlando!
