I remember riding Tomorrowland Speedway when I was a youngster but now that my wife and I are doing a Disney ride/attraction quest together, this is one of the last couple we have left to check off. So we'll be rope dropping for the speedway in just a little over a week from now. 😁

I had a fantastic time doing these walk arounds. Of course I had to see the boss. Great question. Favorite ride at MK is Main Street USA just love to sit there and taking it all in. Runner up would be Big Thunder Mountain. Favorite food would be a Corndog and Funnel Cake at Sleepy Hallow. Meal will always be Liberty Tree. Tomorrow Land is my favorite land!! I know that's not a popular opinion,but it has the best music, and looks AMAZING at night! Cosmic Ray's is one of my favorite quick serves. When my kids were little they couldn't wait to see Sonny Eclipse on every trip! I know one of the former rides...Alien Encounter. Literally the most scared I have ever been at Disney!! Thanks for the video!!!

We loved Alien that was in that building. We were also in the MK on opening day of Stitches Great Escape, we walked into the park to see toilet roll all over the castle and Main Street. Liked that ride to, shame it closed. 🇬🇧😊
Alien Encounter was one of my favorite rides in that building. Funny you should say that about the castle. We were there the same day heck we may have passed each other lol. Thanks for traveling along and hope your week has been great.

I remember that RCA was the original sponsor of Space Mountain and the logo was displayed at the ride. When you exited the ride, instead of dumping into a gift shop, there was a futuristic display of RCA products. Special to me since my Dad spent most of his career at RCA and I spent my career there, too, until we were sold to GE and eventually became Lockheed Martin.
Karen I remember that RCA sponsorship. Didn’t they also have the dog at the end. Thanks so much for traveling around on the Tomorrowland tour.

Love the short walk from the Contemporary another reason to stay at that resort. Your park tours are always great it’s like we are there with you. Great tips on photo and firework ops and history. I loved the extraTERRORestrial alien encounter it used to make Zoe scream 😂😂your videos are perfect leave whatever you feel we love them no matter what

This was my son’s favourite land, always loved the speedway, would ride it with my husband, or myself!
My favourite is BuzzLightyear, or the People Mover, oh and Carosel of Progress. My husband and son rode Tron last year, I stayed behind and held everyone’s things.
Anyway, thank you for taking us along on your adventure, thoroughly enjoyed it! Wasn’t it an Alien ride in the stitches building? Scared my son to pieces!
I remember Cosmic Rays, had the different station, one with rotisserie chicken or a chicken dinner, besides hamburgers. I’m afraid I miss the condiments bar, with all of the fixings, especially the mushrooms for my hamburger!

There wasn't much to Tomorrowland when WDW first opened in 71. I think it was just the Speedway and the Skyway. Other rides didn't appear until later (Space Mountain, People Mover, Astro Orbiter). My favorite extinct ride is Dream Flight/If You Had Wings. America the Beautiful was a 360° CircleVision film where Monster's Inc Laugh Floor is. Goofiest ride was Flight to the Moon/Mission to Mars.

It was Eastern Airlines and then Delta took over and it became Dream Flight. And you didn't need a ticket to ride either version

I prefer the home video vibe. My father loved Alien Encounter lol. Lastly, like a lot of Disney families, we adore anything Stitch. We never saw that attraction (I had over a twenty year gap between visits back then), but I’d be interested in your opinion as to why Stitch’s Great Escape didn’t make it.
We totally agree. We do t want to create a bay that doesn’t exist. Alien was a favorite of mine. Stitch was a great ride but I think it had a lot to do with the animatronics being down often and for the little ones a little to scary. Always enjoy walk around Wednesdays. It's nice to just stroll along with you and take in the sights and sounds of the park when we can't be there.

Disney is nuts to decommission the monorail on the grounds that people will take that long hot boring 15-minute walk from their hotels to the MK.
They haven’t done that. You can still take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom but it is quicker to walk.
