  • "Please Be with Me," written by Scott Boyer, and performed by him, Tommy Talton, and Terry Richardson. I recorded this at FAME studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, on 20 July 2014, when I rode down to see them as well as Galadrielle Allman. She chose this song's title as the title of her book.

One of the last songs Duane Allman played in a Studio. The late Butch Trucks said when he listened to it, he could not stop weeping. When I listen to the original track, I can't help but tear up. Duane always will be my favorite guitar player. You guys owe it to yourself to listen to the track with Duane's playing,...it is beyond beautiful.
RIP Scott and Duane...gone but never forgotten.

@@Womble1252 They say in the Anthology version, Duane had a plug of coke in his nose that made him breathe so loud the mikes picked it up. Not sure I really hear that, though.

We all knew the words to this song and started singing it with Scott as we were coming in the Building and after the song Scott stated I knew I would see somebody I knew if I stayed here long enough. I wasn't familiar with their music but the flyer said "Final Performance". I was afraid I might miss
something so I went. I think tickets were two dollars. Money well spent. They were great,
I'm glad there were future incarnations ahead.
