I think they need to add something on the side of the screen where it shows you how long you spent and how many videos you watched. like, on regular UA-cam, at least you have an idea of roughly how many videos you watched, and how long each one is. shorts, tiktok, etc you just get sucked in and lose track of time.

Before my former counselor left, she strongly advised me to avoid short form content after I showed her a fast paced short video. Your video further proving the point. I have been suffering from mental illness for years and sometimes I constantly check my phone or scroll endlessly just before bed to cope with my loneliness. Right now I managed to a balanced life with exercise, drawing and writing during the long semester break. This video is incredibly helpful and I’m grateful for knowing your channel a few months ago.
This video came at just the right time, I felt like I was wasting my life but I'm too deep into my device and online that I'm afraid to change but at the same time I want to change
I was diagnosed with a chronic case of brain rot at the age of 2. Life has been hard, Everytime I go on my device for work.. I get distracted by my condition. Since this is a a very contagious condition this has spread to my family and I can't do a single thing to help. This video helped me cure and revive my contaminated brain. As so with my family. So, I give you my sincerest thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, Gohar
4:50 I’d say because someone else is telling us and we don’t want the consequences. I don’t listen as much because I wouldn’t give myself consequences. If I don’t do the assignment the teacher gave me, I would get a bad grade, a consequence. But if I tell myself to stay away from my phone I would likely ignore myself because I know I won’t give myself a consequence. That’s my thoughts. Honestly though, me personally I’m listening to myself a little more to engage my hobbies outside my phone, and usually it works, sometimes not though. Your videos are very cool man!
8:07 I'm not 100% sure, but I think it depends on where you are. For example, in the US, we say "the class WAS working", but in the UK, they might say "the class WERE working." So "the list of assignments IS due next week" could be correct because it's talking about the list (and list in this case is singular). But on the other hand, "the list of assignments ARE due next week" could be similar to the "the class were working" sentence type.
That is the case. In American English, collective nouns (team, class) are considered singular, while in British English, the plural form is more often used.
I’m actually learning 2 different things; learning Japanese and learning how to draw. But that second point really came in clutch for me. Thanks Gohar, don’t stop helping the next generation of adults get smarter.
