I honestly like the growl modifier idea! That sounds really cool! I want my growls to sound more vowly and i want them to hit hard. I had no clue this is what patcher did! This is amazing! Thank you!
You can probably make mad stuff by using Patcher in the Channel Rack too. You could run separate effects on each synth layer without using different mixer channels, with simple controls. You can actually have patcher inside patcher, so you can really go mad and make one patch and have premade effects inside the first one. How deep can we go? 🤔

When I was first starting out making dubstep and EDM, I tried to find packs with premade wub noises. One of the packs I used for this was a Ghosthack pack. Imagine my surprise hearing that name again while looking for videos on Patcher, haha Not finished yet but so far this is pretty in-depth, what I've learned is pretty helpful
I built a tool in FL designed like an analog Rack. It is hilarious, But also works. in words what it does its an impulse modulator effects Rack. That way the impulse can be an automatic envelope, To other parameters you send it too. Say you use a sample it has a certain movement and you can't automate that movement into the effects, Then that creates it own envelope then you can just add to what you want, does it automatic that way.
Every dubstep producer who works in Ableton use Virtual Riot's Washout Rack, would be cool if you would share your Washout Rack which you made in a patcher for FL Studio producers. I am sure a lot of people would use it to make smoother transitions. Keep it up man.

How do you make a channel whose output is multiple sounds (like with the layer) BUT some of the sounds only have a limited range, for example: Timpani+Strings layered together, but I want the timpani to only play notes under let's say C4/(C5 in FL Studio). Haha I've been using Fruity Formula Controller to limit knob effects :P
Fruity X-Y-Z Controller is best one, with it you can adjust the curve, acceleration and speed of the input and output.

I wouldn't say that's making a plugin its more of and ef rack
Need a bit of noise/distortion and even compression on that knob to make it authentic to a vintage phone

Little trick for faster customization: while browsing the list of control styles, right click a style to load it without closing the list
I also realized that this applies to many menus in FL studio. Often right click will select the list item without closing the list.
