Been a fan of the group for about 5 years now and I just wanna say thank y'all so much for the entertainment. You guys have honestly changed me for the better (surprising) I was a weird antisocial fat guy and now I have friends and I'm the captain of our schools wrestling team. Thanks
This podcast made me feel emotional especially towards the end since it’s kind of showing how long everyone has been doing yt and there was so many points where the goons could’ve never been made but I’m glad the goons are the way they are, these podcast have really helped me out getting through situations and especially now btw the g sups ceo is holding my family captive
1:00:38 - workout progress photo's helps with seeing results. Show that what you're doing is making a difference. But, sticking to a working out schedule is not just for building muscle and loosing weight. Great tool to improve "self-discipline".
I can see Soup writing some top-notch lyrics. In contrast to the 'internet personality' he puts out, Soup is actually very eloquent and I would expect nothing less from his band. :)
The Goons are my comfort UA-camrs. I could have the roughest day and watching or listening to them makes my day. Also they’ve had 2 podcasts for my birthday consecutively which is awesome (Feb 7th). I love these guys
31:49 Blarg, thank you so much. Before now I've never heard anything of that band but thanks to you I went to go check them out and it was so good, it gave me goosebumps ❤❤❤
I love how passionate blarg is about cars. Usually whenever I talk about cars I try to cut it short when I feel that I’m beginning to look like the stereotypical car guy that doesn’t shut up. It feels nice to know that someone I really admire and enjoy watching is into the same things I’m into.
I looked up Sleep token and listened to one of their songs all I can say they give me a wired chill feeling in my body like in a good way. Thanks for talking about I just find a new band I can add to my playlist
17:06 I'm building a race mower rn and lemme tell you 30 ain't bad for a mower it's the average stage one race mower but I do know someone who dose 60mph and drives it around town. Damn now I wanna see the goons build race mowers that would be dope asf😎 awesome podcast guys keep it up!👍🏻
Danny Mullen is another UA-camr I enjoy and he says, if you wake up early like 6 or 7, make your bed, make yourself breakfast, take a shower, wash your face, and brush your teeth, that's 5 or 6 things you did before 8 am, it's hard to feel unproductive if you start your day like with productivity
Only really started listening to your podcast since McNasty's single came out and found Soups band and now I've been given "sleep token" holy shit - spreading the love
Come to Detroit!!!! In 2008 it was abandoned downtown but like it’s BEAUTIFUL NOW! it’s thriving! We love it here and have connections to local/underground venues and could book you.
1:15:10 it wasn't just among us that was getting super popular during the pandemic, it was also a big rising climb for big vtuber agencies like hololive and nijisanji
I’ve watched blarg for years and didn’t know he went to school for automotive engineering, I’m trying to go to school for automotive machining it’s nice to know someone I look up to has the same interests
@Goons you guys this podcast really knocked some sense to me. I have a physical test coming up and honestly listening to your opinions and facts about working out really just motivated me more because I’m stuck in the loop where I feel inadequate no matter what I do. And my diet is terrible. Thank you guys.
Saw Spiritbox open up for Mastodon and Ghost. Courtney is a fucking legend. They hardly touch her voice in post. Women in extreme metal vocals is hugely underrated. Tatiana from Jinjer, Alissa from Arch Enemy, Brittney from Unleash the Archers, Maria from In This Moment. I could go on. There's so many metal women in the game nowadays and I love it
I've been super into music lately, part because of ya'll and this podcast, part because they always play music at work (to try and drown out the loud ass machines) For the past like 5 years or longer I've used YT as background sound, rather than music, and when I did listen to mush I stayed in my 90-00's alternative and metal rut. So I'm discovering so many bands I've missed or didn't give time to in the past because my taste wasn't that heavy. And I love it, that feeling of finding a new passion/hobby after being in a gaming rut. I also want to dust off my drawing skills from school, I always enjoyed it but had no to reason to do it other wise. like ok me draw pretty picture now what, post it to the cesspool that is the internet.... hell no. But no I'll just to it for myself for the creative out let, plus I just started drawing up ideas for what could be my first tattoo.
Rookie numbers on not showering. Was in the hospital unconscious for 3 months and then after I woke up, another month of just bed bathing from the staff because of lines and tubing. Imagine the disgusting smell produced from my underarms 29:54
I just recently started aviation mechanic school and I was having such a hard time studying and really finding good UA-cam videos to play in the background that would just keep my mind at ease and occasionally when I disassociate, I can hear you guys and man. It has helped SO MUCH. You guys have no idea how refreshing it is to pop up a goons podcast video and start doing homework and studying and fully content with the background noise. At times I would get distracted but in a good way! Sometimes I need it to just give myself a moment to relax. So thank you guys. I love the content you make and it always cheers me up. I even play your podcasts to go help sleep. It’s very therapeutic for me.🤍
In fact there was a huge WV bus meet in Vegas late month it was insane like 40,000 busses showed up. And in North Dakota we have car and tractor shows called the buggies and blues and the Threshing Bee.
You guys are amazing. Fr. The amount of laughs you’ve all given to fans new and old… you guys contribute to society much more than you may credit yourself. Fuck you 🎉
Dooo and Blarg weren't sure on what they'd wanna do for "any car and any drive" but I would absolutely do a classic movie/TV car and do the Cannonball Run. I'd wanna take the Bullitt Mustang, General Lee, or Magnum's Ferrari and just go coast-to-coast.
@Andrew Hood ooh, that's a good one. You get that one and I'll take the General Lee and we see who can do it fastest (without going over 80 because I hate speeding and would actually wanna enjoy the drive)? 😂
The dooo missouri has “Magic dragon car show” at the lake of the ozarks every may if im not wrong. Theres like 1000s of cars over the weekend. Shits pretty dank
Been watching the boys for so long I forget and I just want to say this episode has been the best episode for music recommendations and the boys overall taste ever - mcnasty but we all know his is very similar

Gotta love new goons podcasts

If you guys did a goons meet up, and then went out in public together, that's essentially like Dooo and McNasty doing a face reveal.
Didnt even blink at Soup saying he did zoomba, idk but thats one of the most Soup things I heard this podcast.
