You could troll with them from a kayak for certain! From the bank, you can plunk with them for salmon, steelhead and sockeye as long as you have enough current. I hope that helps Brian!
Thanks for getting back to me. My question is this: Can you perhaps use an inline sinker, like those with a rubber twist, maybe put them 18" or so up, and cast them out and retrieve them like a spinner.
Ill argue a bit about the 3.0 for Coho and 4.0 for Chinook. I've targeted chinook many times with a 3.0 as they preferred smaller baits that are smaller the farther up the Columbia they get. Dont pigeonhole yourself. Like you said, you don’t know what they are going to going after
I would run the Spinfish anywhere from 18 inches to 4 feet back. It's hard to run without any weight. Even a 1oz weight helps it get down just a few feet into the zone!
Great commentary..Thanks..👍
You are welcome Steve!
Thanks for posting. Can you use these as spinners from the bank or a kayak?

Where are you able to buy spinfish , should most stores in yakima have them
SpinFish have been difficult to find in the store. I've heard they will be available in more colors soon in stores for the holidays. Fingers crossed!
