I really appreciate these detailed tutorials. When I was a kid, I caught a lot of salmon with my grandpa trolling in the ocean, but never really fished in a river. Now decades later, I can't wait to start bringing home a few nice fish.

I like how genuine you guys are and the way you guys take the time to explain the tips and tricks. How to catch fish for new anglers.i appreciate all the hard work you guys do
We all need a "refresher" video like this! So many great suggestions! Direct to the point without a need for us to filter through extra ramble. Love your honest reactions and input on the strikes you had and acknowledging the usefulness for different species and seasons. Well spoken with the right details. Thank you!
I live in the PNW and have been getting more and more into fishing, as well as your videos, have helped me a lot, and gives me an idea how to fish in areas around me
that part about reeling into the fish and then setting up the hook is key i’ve seen so many fishermen miss fish by not allowing fish to actually take the lure
I've still never caught anything on a twitching jig. My fishing buddy slays them with em. Maybe I'm not holding my mouth right. Haha! Honestly, great info for any level of fisherman. It's good to know a few different methods. I know so many people that will only use one method. They're missing out on a lot of fish.
I love your videos. In this one I noticed that when you were putting on the fish eggs, it appeared you somehow tied it on the hook. I'm fairly new at this and want to know exactly how, or what you did. Thanks for all the tips and info you provide for those of us who are green and newbies!! My 3 favorite words are " lets go fishing"! Thanks again guys
Remember to check your regs people. Some places have a maximum/minimum distance between sinker and hook. E.g., Oregon's salmon/steelhead bobber rule which limits leader length between sinker and hook to less than 36inches.
Twitching or jigging like you was doing, in Michigan it will get you a healthy fine the DNR will say your snagging and now they are trying to say they don’t want you to feather the beds next they’ll stop you from holding your rod.
I love this a very nice refresher from the last 2 or 3 Tutorials like this Awesome Jordan 👏💚 and ADX Crew. I personally would love to see some tutorials on nothing but fly fishing and go through it all A to C ! 👏👍👍
Thanks for showing us how to"catch" fish. Being presently unable to cast lures as you show us, would you be able to show us plunking methods using these lures. Keep up the good work, appreciate it.
thanks for these tips still learning how to catch salmon i can catch trout and i hooked a salmon one time with a twitching jig and fake worm but my line wasnt strong enough so i bought 40 pound line 👌👌👌
How is it that Jordan doesn't take every single one of us on his adventures with him in person? I mean, I love the videos and we all get to "experience" the trips with him on UA-cam............but I really wanna hangout with Jordy and Little for the day!
Thanks for the tips! I live in Michigan and there’s a lot of salmon just swimming in shallow streams but they don’t wanna bite 🥲been using a spinner and nothing so far, bouta try out a jig today😎
So on the torpedo style spinner, I don't see it fishing 6+ ft deep for me even when I and pointing my tip down and going slow and following it. What am I missing?
You should do a braid vs fluorocarbon challenge. I seen a video and the guy says you will catch the same or more fish with just braid or floro then you would with floro bumper
He was on our bucket list as well. My GF and I went out with Jordan for her Birthday. Learned so much and had An amazing time. We’ll worth the 6 hr drive. He is awesome!
Great info but I noticed there was nothing about using a spin n glo probably due to fishing from a boat please let us know more about the spin n glo set up and about bait divers also thanks
This maybe stupid but for someone who is really new to fishing. Have you or thought about doing something about what type of fishing waders or shoes or jackets. That you prefer or what to look for in certain areas or type of fishing? For someone new to the sport it would be awesome.
The staters are hammering us on the upper rogue accusing us of snagging when twitching. It's hard for them to argue when it's in the mouth but from time to time you will snag one.
Great video! Question about the float setup - would using just a fluorocarbon line instead of braid with a fluorocarbon bumper not make it stronger (one less knot to worry about)? Or do the benefits of the floating braid outweigh the cons of tying a bumper to it? Just curious as I've never tried braid with float fishing.
Sure seems like skein is the way to go for Salmon. Steelhead go after the lures more it seems. I don't know why Chatterbaits wouldn't work with plastic shad if spinners work.
The most important thing is location location location..... LoL 🤣😆😎 It's hard to get to a productive spot without a boat. Most areas are inaccessible or just private land. After my cancer surgery it's even harder now.... But still plugging away LoL 🤣😆😎
Are you fishing mainly weedless rivers or something? Every time I let my spinner (or anything, for that matter) hit the bottom before reeling, it comes back full of weeds haha. I al ways try to keep it right above the weeds because I'm assuming that's best, but I don’t know I haven't had any luck on my local river. I are up fishing lakes pretty successfully, all over the country. So it's getting VERY frustrating not being able to pull fish out of the river in my own home city
You sure can! Your jigs will be smaller and your twitching motion will be shorter, but the concept is that same. There is a video where Jordan does go catch trout using the twitching method, I can’t remember the title off hand though.
Thank you for spending the time to teach those of us who have no clue!

Same in NYS
No jigs over 1/8 oz and they probably will claim snagging if you twitch.
