Stuff packs are basically objects & data they couldn't fit into or ripped directly from expansions. Sometimes you can find bits of data in expansion pack files that show where the objects were supposed to be. jsyk
I never realized i had bought this stuff pack. Now i know where the tacky costumes came from. Steam sales are dangerous for the weak, you lose self control.
I'm actually really interested in buying this stuff pack. I know it's pretty useless if you're just a regular player playing the game by yourself, but I'm a story writer and all of these things open up so many more storytelling avenues for me. I never thought of writing about a superhero plot before but now I kind of want to, since I have the stuff to do it! So yeah, thanks for showing off the pack. I think I'll be asking for this one for Christmas. :)
Read the video description for my PC info. Only tips I have are: get a PC that isn't awful, and make sure you keep in maintained and free of software clutter. But honestly, TS3 will run like crap before long no matter what computer you have, because the game is a serious system hog.
Not a great admirer of that genre myself, so I don't know much about its inclusion in the Sims 3, but doesn't the Supernatural Expansion have stuff like that?
I actually see some use in this pack. Making Sim movies like some people do. You would finally have clothes instead of having to search everywhere for CC to suit your needs. Although, I may be using my imagination a bit too much...
Sack Boy Said it! Havent payed for a EA game for years and yet somehow i have alla expansions and stuff packs, you may say "You dont support EA!" Trust me, they make more then enough money, and honestly i dont want to support a company how only focus on making money instead of creating a great game, just look at sims 4, they made it less pc demanding so more people would be able to play it = more money, the price to pay is a half made game but the sad truth is, they dont give a shit about that, they only want to make money. It's not an expansion at all, I never said it was. I said it was the last Stuff Pack, according to EA. And it is. Into the Future will indeed be the last expansion, which is NOT a stuff pack.

It's a life simulation game. But highly customizable. You build homes, you create people (sims), and have them live in a world that you can create and customize as well. It's a very successful series. I'm torn between whether I liked TS2 or TS3 better. You should look into it :)

some of the Western songs more like surfer music... though I do love this pack. Gives me more costumes to play with and it's fun to have a superhero running around in Bridgeport. Not their worst pack, but it makes up for some missing content from previous games.
Most of my sims end up as mad scientists or crazy inventor types so I can actually get some mileage out of the superhero stuff, less so everything else. It's oddly cheap for once as well coming in at around 10-12 quid rather than than the usual 15-20 for a stuff pack here in Blighty.
I always turned to you before buying any expansions or anything, and I've been pretty pleased with the purchases I have made. So thanks, LGR. Also, Duke looks fabulous, so not all is lost on this pack. :D

Big John Wayne fan so pleased to see the wild west themed stuff. Not so pleased that I now need Pets in order to have a proper cowboy sim. Loved seeing Nukem in the Rocky Horror gear. :0)

It's ok in my opinion i do like it for my evil and supernatural sims i find that its a perfect match with Supernatural And Pets Because the Supernatural's Go With the Horror Theme and The Horses go with the western theme nothing really For The Sci-Fi theme Unless You Include Into The Future and i do like the backdrops and Props To go with Showtime ^-^
looking between ts4 movie hangout stuff and ts3 movie stuff really shows how uncreative the sims team got with ts4. it's so sad. Then again $20 for a stuff pack is just ridiculous.

I totally agree. If my game is minimized at all, it'll crash. I've never had that problem with any other Sim game. Plus, you need a good graphics card for Pets to make realistic long-haired cats and dogs, and there's a problem with the punishment system in Generations where a teen will be punished if they go to school while being grounded but also punished if they skip too (at least in my game...and maybe they've fixed this, I haven't played in awhile). Sorry, it just aggravates me.

If Sims designers had their druthers, they would have nothing but chairs, bars, and giant objects that are completely useless outside of a very, VERY specific situation

Pets had a ton of Western clothing and furniture, plus actual new gameplay (like horses). It's also selling for about $20 now. I'd recommend getting Pets and not this.

They missed a trick by not having "Fantasy" as a theme. Harry Potter themed objects, skills and places, maybe?

The best item in this expansion is the technical cube thing because you can use it in an inventor's workshed and it actually fits really well.

That is *not* a stuff pack. It's a new town with a handful of new items, just like Barnacle Bay, Monte Vista, Sunlit Tides, Aurora Springs, etc.
I'm thinking the horror stuff might work well with the Supernatural stuff pack, so may buy it... Plus, cowboy stuff may work well with the pets expansion as well!
And super hero stuff may work well with the Late Night expansion
