Hi Ross! That's a lot of figs. Thanks for the information! Some questions: When did you made the video? How old is that tree? And when does it fruit for you? And is it OK to plant it in ground in zone 6b/7a (in the middle of Germany). I've got one of these last week and it's about 10 inches high at the moment and I hope that some day it will be as beautiful as yours. Greetings and have a good start into the new season!
@@RossRaddi Thanks for your quick response! In 4 years that high?! Wow! Now I'm very excited to get it into the ground. I'll post an update here in fall.
#Ross This fig tree, is from the country of Boulgaria in the Balkans, NOT FROM ADRIATIC SEA, and if you plant it in 2.000 meters high in the mount will survive and produce lots of fruits. We are in the borders with Boulgaria and I know the fig tree well. This fig is very good for very cold countries… It is NOT IN ADRIATIC SEA, IN THE WEST, BUT IN THE EAST BY THE BLACK SEA… GET THE EUROPIAN MAP AND YOU WILL SEE THE DISTANCE, THOUSAND MILES FROM WEST THE ADRIATIC, TO THE EAST BY THE BLACK SEA NORTH OF GREECE… This is to get to know where it comes from. Regards Yannis the GREEK 🇬🇷 We have it here in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and the cuttings are 25cm and the price £3.50 each
Hi Ross, what is the difference between the Michurinska 10 and Green Michurinska? Is it the same?? I’ve found the Green Michurinska in the local nursery, but in your list of hardy figs , you have the Michurinska 10 . Thank you!
I'm wondering how you can have so many trees so close together in a rainy environment and not have issues with fig rust. Once rainy weather moves in I have to move everything further apart or suffer the consequences. I'm in 7b, upstate SC. Last year it got away from me in early August and fallen fig leaves were everywhere. Most of the trees eventually recovered, but the leaf loss was pretty ugly.
It would be interisting to compare the taste of Green Michurinska and Dalmatie. Despite of the size they seem to share similarities. Might be like for VdB and Little Miss Figgy.

I heard that it does well in Germany. I planted that tree maybe 4 years ago? The video was filmed in October.

For real. I’m trying g to figure that out also with having no one fig rust.
I would love to be able to obtain this fig. Anyone know of any nursery that is currently offering it?
Trees or cuttings? There's a good chance I'll have a tree or two available in March.
Trees definitely; please post when available
Nice effort s,I noticed some cracks in the stem of four years olds fig plant s in an earthen big pot.
My fig tree has recently started shedding more bark than normal. Is this something you could help me troubleshoot?
Shedding bark? Send me photos.

Very different eating experience!
