+TreasuresByBrenda Exactly! One of my favourite things to do is cook in bulk, freeze and have everything ready to go for the week! :D Enjoy this recipe and thank you so so much for watching! x
Katie's like tinned soup. She has a really satisfying tang and sweetness, that I love. Also, she cracks me up. Hm. Never thought I'd find myself comparing someone to a can of soup. Not favorably, at least. :)
+Maggy Woodley (Red Ted Art) Hehe! Thank you, Maggy! Very very touched to have you watch my channel. EVERYONE - go check out Red Ted Art, it's brilliant!
Just got directed here from food tubes facebook post.I love tomato soup(my favorite soup by far),but i didnt expect to love the chef even more than the soup^^ Keep up the good work gorgeous :)
+Linda Nilsson I LOVE this comment. I am beaming from ear to ear to know you cooked it and enjoyed it! Thank you so much and I hope you've had a lovely weekend x
+Katie Pix Hi Katie :) My recipe is about as cheating as you can get when it comes to tomato soup, but I like it! (Don't laugh!!) 😀 Here goes! 2 tablespoons flour, 1 tablespoon olive oil in a cold pan, stir well until incorporated & smooth. Heat pan over med-high heat until the mixture starts to fizz/bubble all over. Add 1 X 140g tomato paste, stir well, add 2 cups water & a teaspoon sugar. Wait until it boils, add a handful of small pasta & cook until pasta is cooked (~8-10min). That's it! Can add a celery stalk as well to add a different flavour. The whole thing is ready in under 15min. This is for 1 portion.
Thanks a lot for these videos! I found your channel through your video with Chetna. Easy and inexpensive recipes are great for me as a student, but the taste is most important for me as a human being ;) I'll definitely be trying some of your recipes!
+Yara Sarfaty Wohoooo! This is fantastic to read. Thank you so so much for taking the time to watch my videos and I am chuffed to hear they can help you out. That's what it's all about. Food made simple and affordable but without skimping on flavour. :D
New subbie here! Tomato soup is one of my favorite soups ever! And you just made it easier and more delicious! I can't wait to try this out! Thanks for the recipe! I love your English accent! So darling!
+Taylor Elaine A massive welcome to the Katie Pix family! I am so chuffed to have you :D Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave such a lovely comment. Where in the world are you from? x
+Sally Le Page Just even more motivation to jump on the January fitness bandwagon - I have the arm strength of a 90 year old (massively stereotyping of course). x
in this video I discovered native english speakers also dont´t kown how to say "worghsjkfgdhgks sauce". In my country we just say "english sauce" hahahaahha
+Sour Tiger's Hideout If you're not a fan of cheese in general, then sour cream works well too! It has a lovely tang but still gives the soup a delicious creaminess. Alternatively, if it's the creaminess you dislike, then I would increase the level of stock and throw some basil in there for some extra depth! Hope that helps x
Can someone help me out here? When in these recipes someone says "X amount of vegetable/chicken/other type of stock" how is that stock prepared? Is it a bought spice version that You boil, or do You actually have to first boil, in this case, vegetables and get the stock? I'm sorry, it's just a very confusing thing for me.
+Welniuke Exactly what the lovely folk below said! You can either make your own stock (like the legend Gennaro Contaldo explains, here: ua-cam.com/video/Vu7f24XWj1k/v-deo.html) or you can use a simple stock cube/pot, like I have, to packet instructions!
+Espen Ruud It's a great shout! Go for it. That's the beauty of a recipe. It's just a guide not a set of rules, so please do throw your own twists into the mix! I love hearing your ideas!
I always just say "Worshestir Sauce" but its spelled "Worcestershire Sauce" so IDK how the HECK they want you to pronounce it. xD Good recipe! I cant wait to try this, I love me some good Tomato soup! Oh and quit being so beautiful, its distracting from the video!
Thank you for the spot! I often tweak recipes AGAIN during the shoot, so I will have a proper nosey at this and put the correct measurements down. Thank you x
@@KatiePix 100ml of veg stock didn't look enough for 2 people, as when you nearly filled your mug, there wasn't much left in the blender. Would 2 tins of cherry tomatoes be too strong?
(love that the hardest bit was opening the can!!! :-)
LOVE the idea of creating homemade soup -- and freezing small batches of it rather than opening a commercially prepared can of tomato soup.

That's a great shout! I love hearing your suggestions! Thank you so so much :)
Let me suggest replacing the odd "nice" with perhaps... "mad decent".
Let me know what you think.
+Last of Brunnen G Hahaha! Brilliant. Watch out for that one. ;)
you're strange. it makes you more enjoyable to watch than most. keep being yourself.
That's an incredible comment to read. Thank you so much ☺️

+Paulo Leitao THAT'S IT!!!!!!!! Doh.
What can I use if I can't find canned cherry tomatoes where I live?
1 tin of baked beans, 1 tin of tomatoes, vegetable stock, red lentils. Done.
NICE!
in this video I discovered native english speakers also dont´t kown how to say "worghsjkfgdhgks sauce". In my country we just say "english sauce" hahahaahha

could I substitute the cheese for something else?

I love tomato soup :) Will try this! And btw ... Does anybody at all know how to correctly pronounce this wooshooshoo sauce? xD
+No1BRC Wooster-sheer sauce, spelt Worcestershire.
THX ;)
+Matt Robinson SPOT on.
+No1BRC Wohoo! I love reading that! Do let me know if you give it a go!
I missed a bit of garlic in there:)

+nudl3Zz **blushing**
+nudl3Zz Excuse me? I'm sending that application as well
honestly, tabasco is not spicy at all for me. I prefer to put some chili
Go for it! That's the beauty of a recipe - it's a guide not a set of rules. Play around with it and make it your own!
The method says put sugar in, but you didn't put in any. Also you say 3 tbsp, but ingredients say 2 tbsp.
Thank you for the spot! I often tweak recipes AGAIN during the shoot, so I will have a proper nosey at this and put the correct measurements down. Thank you x
Katie Pix Okey dokey. I'll be making this for a starter on Xmas day. Loving your recipes and vlogs. Merry Christmas to you and your family xx

Wheres the grilled cheese? Or is that just an American thing.
+Al3xTrucho20 YES. I so need to do that. Cheesy bread to dip - heaven! Thank you x
