Really refreshing video. Im Plat 1 with my 2 mains Jamie and Ed so it's nice to see a POV describing that perspective. I also got Zangief to Plat 3 pretty much accidentally and now I just play him to lose so its more accurate to my ability😅
First off I love that edit with Squidward, that was hella funny. 2nd I've been playing SF since the early 2000's and as much fun I had when started with Ryu or Ken, Luke just fits my playstyle the most for how linear it is to play and how fun he is.
I know basically NOTHING about traditional fighting games (I'll stick to Smash Bros and Yakuza lol) apart from they look fun to play but are hard to master, but I still enjoyed watching this! Your points were understandable and I felt like I learned something. Even as an outsider to stuff like this, its still interesting to see all the intricacies and frame perfect stuff involved with characters and how people get creative to mix up their opponent.
Got recommended the video due to the algorithm and I just wanted to say you did a terrific job! Your explanations were short and concise, and while there might be some discrepancies, overall you got some of Luke's strengths down pretty well. On top of that, your editing was fun and your voice over was fantastic. That being said, I'd love to see you put your mentality to the test. Having fun, learning as you go and striving to improve. I think seeing you try your own run for Masters rank would be fun to see. I think with the right mindset, you could turn it into a fun and educational series of videos. And to top off this request, I'd just like to add that I also just recently reached Master with Ed and offer my own brand of coaching (completely free of charge), so if this is something you'd be interested in, I'd be more than happy to help! All in all, great video, proud of you for hitting Plat and I hope to see more in the future!
Luke is basic but not that easy lol. I played on an off SF6 since release and got Jamie to master a couple months ago, then Luke about a month later. Post nerf I really think Luke is mid tier now

Since I grew up with this Game Franchise which is the Classic SNES Game this was badass to me.

thank you very much for the comment, it's very encouraging
Cool video and well made. You deserve more people watching!
Great video! Been having fun with Juri recently but once I’m done with her I think I’ll give Luke a try!
