I agree it was amazing being able to play SF and see each character evolve and grow and have different story lines as the years went on I'm 50 now and still play SF all the times and have tournaments at my house all the time I also like a lot of the new characters

Wow Vs Ryu near the end when you started a combo by doing a fireball through his one and the shin-ryu-ken is ridiculous. Ken has and until they finish SF he is one of if not the most formidable characters in the lore of the game. Akuma comes close but Ken is just a different animal, and at times unstoppable. Your video showcased that perfectly, nice one.

I'm an older gentleman. Used to play & was pretty good back in the early 90's. With the actual arcade version of the early SF2 games. And this reminds me of .....when you have someone's timing down. It's like there is nothing they can do to stop it. Just combo after combo. Thanks for sharing this vid. Brings back some fun memories!

Some people dedicate there time and energy to one character, it’s impossible to master every character. Games like street fighter , MK if you want to play online of course get familiar with your character weaknesses and strengths and commit hours , it takes months to master one.

Blown away by the skills. My background is in MK & Tekken which rely way more on target combos. I'm terrible at SF because I think it's the most difficult of the 3 to play but I still love it. Awesome video. Great work.

@@NastyNazz im talking about up to SF 4. there weren't alot of options to deal with fireballs spamming, except maybe to jump over into the shoryuken which did more damage than other character supers. The results were hadoken hadoken shoryuken shoryuken shoryuken hurricane kick hadoken.

@@petebagwell6666 before, from what I remember, say 2 punch combo. Compare the previous ones vs this..they flow much better in terms of looks
The animation looks great but some parts of it is stiff which makes it seem like it's missing something. It's a 7.5/10 in my book, would be perfect if they added more torque to make the attacks look powerful

@@Cons2911 Yeah, it's almost perfect but some transitions are off. Some movement have an even consistent speed throughtout the attack animation which makes it look unnatural if you know what I mean.

That Dhalism Perfect Parry to the Punish was nasty.
I realized that Kens true power isn’t his normals, though his run is really good, it’s his specials and CA. How they chain together so easily as well as his throw loops. I’m not saying his normals are bad, but I’m saying some characters styles are better and have more versatility than his. But despite that, Ken is so fun to play as.

That's what I call knowing the time of the buttons! What a supreme sharp finger technique! the guy simply chewed every second of SF6 on his fingers.
I performed these kick combos in training and the pixel perfect timing needed to maintain that air juggle is ridiculous. Much more than I'm willing to invest into one game. These people are the masters who can perform these moves in perfect time without a controller in their hand.
I gave up trying to do that corner kick combo. Lmao I really thought it looks dope and easy, and then I tried doing it. 😅
Practice alot, that's how i got good doing combos in this and Mortal Kombat
@@ahsoka_polo I try do at least an hour or so a day. I'm currently a silver 2-star rank. The Jinrai juggles are super difficult. I can only do one at the moment.
Just eat chips like me and watch, much easier.
There are alot of people I see playing with Ken, cause he is my main. And by far this is one of the best ones I have seen. Not just the same combo over and over again like other Ken players, this is how freestyle fighting truly looks! Awesome job man!
It's called playing the game a crap ton learning the combos and such normal players don't got that kinda time learn a few combos and go most of them do the same dmg anyway it just looks cooler

Not true at all in this game, some of his biggest meaties get your oponent out of the corner, you go for the jinrai kick combos in the corner to keep them there, you do dragonlash and yeah you do big damage but you lose alot of advantage, also theres so many combos in this game that work best at different parts of the stage, its alot more creative and complicated than 5, I will say tho its hard not to resist the urge to dragonlash dragonpunch combo, I find myself doing it in the corner and thinkin shit I just cornered myself

As a SF2 arcade player from the early 90's, that is S-Tier, godlike Ken playing. It's great to see someone dominate with Ken like that, makes me proud.
One of the big reasons this Ken is consistent is because opponents are equaly consistent "blocking" against DI in corner, wich is as you know, a ticket to meet our maker. As always super fun to watch!
These are handpicked videos. Some of them were a tie break which means he lost. Would have been nice to see those to see what he did wrong.

This Ken is certainly good with drive rushes, baits and setups. I didn't see much neutral so I'm not sure how much of a tournament monster he would be based on these matches.

He is actually terrible with them. All of his DI's in the corner are a gimmick and automatically lose to the other person pressing DI. All of his DR jab/throw spams can hardly be called setups. They are just online gimmicks. Same as the throw loops. He is the prime example of an online monster, terrible at the game but just abusing net code lol.

From a (irl) fighting perspective, a jab thrown from either in or out (feint) of range can setup a combo or create reads of the opponent based on their reaction or both. I'm not familiar with the technical terms. What does auto-time mean in this context?
