Omg I'm so excited that you're finally going! It's so impressive how you managed all this administrative stuff. That price difference of your last flight to this one might be because of how you were only able to book the current one very short term. I'm flying to Tokyo on Tuesday with JAL and I paid 1062 for a round trip. That language school did you dirty with confirming your acceptance this late :( Also can't believe you're 1,80m you look like such a smol baby on camera 🥹💕
Thank you 🥹 Yes, that's probably why it was so expensive 🥲 Have fun on your flight! Haha, definitely not a smol baby 😂 My coworkers thought the same before we meet for the first time in person 😁
Hello Celine,I had the exact same experience -minus the ADHD medication issue - ..a time consuming process indeed,I was anxious till the last week before my departure ^^; Anyway,I'm so excited for your new adventure!! Enjoy your trip and school life
I’m pretty sure you’ll have a test of some kind when you get there. Every language school I’ve attended does even if they have a test before you fly over. And jet lag is a thing. It will probably be a speaking interview at least. You can prepare by practicing talking about yourself. This would be good practice anyway because you will definitely need to talk about yourself in Japanese when you meet people. I stayed at a share house in Fuchu which is about 40 minutes from Shinjuku station. It was a really good experience.
@@Seriinudesu I didn’t prepare for my Korean one and I should have. I got placed in upper beginner instead of intermediate. It was only a 2 week stay though. Try to think of some sentences that use the most advanced grammar you’ve been studying. Real Japanese people won’t notice or care about grammar but the teachers will notice.
Thank you for this wonderful update. I am worried on the note of providing proof of funds. Please, how much money did you provide as a proof of funds and was it euros or in Japanese yen currency.
@@emmanuelgbatoe Hi Emmanuel, as far as I remember it was around 10.000€ 🤔 (before I paid the school fees and my flight). After my application for the school I was only asked again for an updated version once one because the first statement was a couple of month old at this point 🤔
I’m kind of afraid to apply for a language school student visa in Japan because I only have a high school diploma, a certificate in welding and another certificate in airframe (airplane) assembly from Canadian colleges. I did take a level 1 Japanese course here in Toronto Canada of which I passed. I do have $74,000 CAD/50,000 euros in savings. I hope it’s enough the process sounds nerve wracking 😂
@@eatrunandtravel As far as I'm aware you don't need anything for that except your high school diploma 🤔 Just try it! Otherwise you might regret it later in life when you won't have to opportunity anymore
Don't worry, it's a STUDENT Visa. Please note that many foreign-nationals from neighboring Asian countries, first attend Language School, and later complete university or vocational school, and then find full-time work and get a work-visa sponsored. We also have many language students on Working Holiday Visa who still haven't graduated from college/university. The "degree" from Japanese or foreign academic institutions will matter for finding a job and securing a Work Visa (unless the professional experience is considered sufficient). I have heard that welders are in high-demand, and they're getting paid significantly higher than other workers in factories in Japan...but that's different story.
Let now if you still have questions about the whole process 😊
I just hope you post videos so I can enjoy vicariously studying abroad in Japan 😂.
I'll totally do that 😁
Hi, Excited to see you vlog from there, by the way Japan Food is delicious 😋
Yeees! I'm looking forward to eating it again 🤤
@@Seriinudesu You will love it 😎

Hi Paul, yes the test will be in person unfortunately 😅 I'll try my best to prepare for the speaking interview 😊
