The ending to Life is Strange 2 Episode 5-
The Diaz brothers make it to Mexico - Ігри
I personally believe this is the best ending. They reached their goal/destination together. And they’re together.
They live on the beach! Living on the beach is the best way to go.
yesss I was so happy I got that ending it was adorable😭💚 I keep crying over a video game but it’s honestly amazing.
I agree with you, so grateful I got this ending
And we not gonna lie, this is the best bad ass final scene
That and Lyla, Finn/Cassidy, their grandparents, etc., can visit them.
Daniel looks so much like Sean when he gets older 😭
And Sean looks like Esteban
I honestly thought he was Sean at first then I saw his eye and was like wait what
Yeah Dude like if they were Siblings
@@raularellano297 I was literally telling myself that. Daniel looks like Sean when he got older and Sean looks like his dad when he got older.
@@ejtogaming5755 there are 3 stages to the life of a Diaz, the Daniel stage, the Sean stage, and the Esteban stage.
I like how hard they try to make this seem like it's a bad ending. If you got the powers, use 'em, right? All playing by the rules got him was a job at starbucks.
Yeah my thoughts exactly 🤣👍
it all depends on how you look at it :)
this was my canon/"happy" ending but at the end of the day, a starbucks job is probably better than being a fucking fugitive, probably in the FBI's most wanted lol
All endings are fucking sad IMHO.
Life is indeed hella strange my friend :)
@Zharia Rahn Uhhhh im sorry but in Parting ways he can be with his love interest. That is way better
This is the best ending in my opinion
Marius Boss Trust me, I'm sure Sean would rather be with his brother. Also, a gang can go after Sean and end up killing him since only Daniel has the powers.
i love how Sean looks like their Father and Daniel looks like Sean.
Beautiful ending. I know their lives aren't perfect, but they're safe, they're free, they have stability, and they're together. That's what's important. They aren't unfairly separated or persecuted. There was never going to be a perfect ending, but this is a very good one.
100%.
yes. they're together is the most important
But where's Lyla. If Lyla was there this ending would be even better
@@arnaug.9731 She can visit Sean said he promised they would see eachother again she'll probably come down to Mexico and they'll be reunited besides there free now in this ending
They should have made seen lylya
I was really waiting till the last moment for Sean to manifest powers. Turned out his super power is his love for his brother 🥺
I love him so much
Facts. Sean doesnt need powers to be awesome.
Agree. It’s too bad that the hate for Sean is too great when people decide for him to surrender. Redemption is a death wish for Sean in jail.
@@eliasp92509 Exactly!!!
His superpower was being a talented ass Artist
I mean honestly I wish he had powers, just like as a BAM moment in the end. But it’s almost more beautiful that he doesn’t.
They both become such handsome boys I'm so proud. A little murderous but like sometimes shit happens and it's a gray area so im okay with it
Well life is tough out there.
I don't read spanish, but it seems like the 2 dead newspaper featured a upturned cop car, meaning that their lives were likely on the line, same as the gangsters (who daniel spared) seems pretty justified to me
The newspaper says they just robbed a gang so they are not very bad guys.
Shit happens 😂
they didnt kill the thugs who broke into their home lel
I know a lot of people think that it's a bad ending but honestly I think it's the best. People think that Daniel has no childhood here anymore but cmon you really think Sean would let that happen? I can assure you that he makes sure that Daniel gets a good childhood and good education. He also teaches him spanish. They have eachother which is the most important thing for both of them. And they are definetly no criminals! We know our boys and we know they would never do anything bad unless it's neccesary. Like at the border. After all the police did to them, they kinda deserved it. Sometimes not following the rules is the best thing to do. They deserved their happy ending after all that happened to them.
@Murv Well depends on the area to be honest. i have gone there and its beautiful, you just need to know where to not hang out with. All places have dangerous places, but that doesnt make the whole country dangerous.
Still that's not exactly what their father would have wanted, they're still criminals and in a way that's not a good childhood. At least with the separation ending they're both happy in a way and in my ending at least he's with Cassidy
I agree so entirely my heart is weeping tears of joy and pure satisfaction!😭😭 if only I could come across comments like this more often :D.
@@firionkaiser8291 Yes but the problem is that they ain’t together,it’s not the same sending letters than seeing each other
@@tyler1450 Yes but again that ending is still better for the both of them. Even if they're separated it doesn't mean they won't see each other again and they aren't criminals either. The Blood Brothers ending is definitely badass but at the same time you can see regret on both of their faces whenever their father comes to mind because they both know he wouldn't approve of the outcome
Seeing Sean all grown up made me sad
x DDx207 x what about daniel:( although Sean looks so much like there father and daniel looks a lot like Sean
ratlin lol yeh I think I meant to say Daniel too , but I’m so used to Sean being a teen and Daniel being a little kid
This is probably the happiest one for Sean though, the surrender ending is soooo sad for him :(
I think that this is a good ending
Yeah i prefer this 1 too 👍😁
Yep
Yeah
Best one for sure
@@unprotecteddex3020 I prefer parting ways
The blood brothers ending is the best ending because they made to Mexico together and based on whoever their love interest is they probably down there with them already off screen
I totally like the gangster Sean and Daniel. Make this a game.
Hell yeah 😈😍
Yes! I want like a mafia spin off would be pretty fun
Word! Although in my head canon they are vigilantes - Dark Superwolf and Shadowrunner assemble! :)
Probably will be a DLC.
@@senfismustard Hopefully 🖤
This is a bad ending? I saw no dead bodies, just people knocked unconscious. The main goal for these two since they lost their dad was to stick together. To me, this isn't just a good ending, it's the true ending.
Damn straight, I should’ve said true ending for my comment also. Society thinking they above us even after taking everything we hold dear. Ain’t taking anything more after THIS.
@@harrybrown6328 Yay finally someone says it. That's correct it wouldnt be morality ending, it should be called Ethical ending. People confuse the two terms often. Family always comes first, comes above the rules and society itself. If your family is in danger you would do anything to protect them. Its self defense, its justified for me. This ending is my favorite of them all. My second favorite ending is parting ways, Third. Surrender ending, and last Lone wolf.
Díaz brothers And they’re supposed to kiss the asses of the system that brought their father to the grave. I’m surprised the FBI agent hasn’t mentioned the father’s death but concerned about the cop’s. Then having the audacity to charge Sean. Choosing the cop’s death and not even acknowledging the father’s? You know what, Maxine should send the tornado 🌪 on all those cops ass. Let’s see if their law is above the apocalypse!!!!
Harry Bui EXACTLY. Why tf should Sean surrender to the cops when they killed his father. So many times I wished we were playing as Max Caulfield
Blockstar actually give back Maxine in 3. Her power’s far more broken
This is the best ending and no one can change my mind.
Facts
HANDS DOWN, the BEST ENDING. Sean and Daniel went through so much and I’d be damned if they were separated. Their whole story was about being together and reaching Mexico. Gosh this game was so GREAT and meaningful.
There's almost no regret factor in this ending compared to every other one. Best counter point I saw was a look on Daniel's face at some point that was debatable, and right afterwards they did a bro hug thing. Sean and Daniel were screwed by the police and society in the first place. In this ending they grow strong together instead of getting separated, arrested, or killed.
The look was right after he was staring at his father's lighter. I think it was more sad his father wasn't there but happy they got to be there for him.
The more i think about it the more this is the best ending by far, They didnt ask for trouble, but they didnt back down from it either. They kept getting pushed and treated unfairly when all they wanted to do was escape, they got backed into a corner and decided they werent going to take it anymore, they ended up succesful, together and drinking beers on a beach in mexico. Seems like their morality is in check too. True ending in my opinion.
it's like a rat Corner a rat into a corner and it will bite back and watch you slowly die
The Rat didn't ask to be pushed into a corner it was forced into one so it did what it had to do to survive
Where as Sean and Daniel saw their father die and ever since then they kept getting backed into a corner where they had no option to fight back Also the cops shot at them so self defense is self defense
They are even vigilantes in Mexico, hunting down real bad gang members, as the newspaper article implies. So one can see their father talking about PL in the beginning as a way to have them go down and be fucking Batman down there. Daniel is literally a super hero. After he defeats the scum of the earth (the US govt) at the border, he then hunts down common thugs and cleans up his town a bit. And they have plenty of cash.
@@danielgray65 Amen
This is the real man's ending, Sean and Daniel turn into Badass vigilantes, and I think that's awesome, society never gave a shit about them, always trying to fuck them up along the way, so why should they care about what society think of them.
I agreed
Agreed to the max
you didnt understand the game if you think this is the right ending...
@@scribbles5027what do you mean? Throughout the game you make your own choices. You decide whether or not you want Sean and Daniel to side more with the law or put each other's goal to get to Mexico first. It's a choice based game for a reason

Puerto lobos is best ending
I see the one with them in puerto lobos as the best ending possible. Literally the main objective since episode one was getting there and my grandparents, Finn, Brody, Jacob, my mother and probably someone else I’m missing risked sacrificing their freedom and damn near their lives to make that happen for us. Turning back when we were right their just seemed like a disservice to all of them. Not to mention we inevitably build a workshop in our dads honor and in this ending it’s not even like Daniel is some supervillain who kills all in his way. He’s even seen showing restraint to the guys robbing him. And they’re even cleaning the streets up and making their home a better place. I see this as a absolute win.
I couldn't agree more. Life is Strange was NEVER about happy endings, fuck man, first one Chloe had to die. It broke everyone, but it was "fair". To let Sean go to jail for doing his best in a society that only fucked him, surrendering, what was the journey for? Their life would never be the same. Blood Brothers is far from what I wanted, but they become The Punisher and together. Best ending ever!
@Mr Pickles There's so much right and satisfaction in reading your comment my heart is weeping with joy, I so wish I could read such justice more often😭😭. I'm 10000% with you!!!
@Mr Pickles I totally agree with you. Redemption and lone are the worst endings ever. Idk why people celebrate that those are good endings. I prefer parting ways and blood brothers. I really dislike the character agent Flores, she’s not a good character. Her role in the game is to permanently separate the brothers.
@@eliasp92509 yeah even if sean told the truth to agent Flores, she wouldn't do shit but put Sean in jail.
@Mr Pickles YESSSS! 100% AGREE. if Sean goes to jail, i'd rather Daniel going with him, ik he's a minor but since nobody could mess with them in jail.
Who the fuck would choose surrender? You worked for 5 episodes to get to here! You wouldn't just give up now! I cried, and I'm so SO glad I got this ending!
probably somebody who would’ve wanted to surrender from the beginning but didn’t have the choice to until the end. i personally didnt surrender and got this ending, but i can understand why others did
My thoughts exactly!!! I’m so glad I got this ending!!! 😂
I did that because I wanted to see Daniel live a normal life. He's 9 and would get away with all of this and ultimately, Sean wouldn't have to run anymore.
But man ... man ... man oh man was that probably the most painful ending of anything I've ever seen. The two of them going their separate directions.
Sean and Lyla get to hug though so that's something but it's obvious that Sean is forever scarred while Daniel is the person Sean fought so hard to ensure he'd end up as.
i chose to fight and all i got was a bullet to my head 😭😭
The only thing I don’t like...
Is the fact we couldn’t hear big Daniel’s voice. Or hear him speak in Spanish.
Like dang
Amazing Chicken I’m kind of glad they didn’t, I feel like they would sound weird and lose the emotion
@Amazing Chicken Yep, couldn't be bothered spending the effort or money.
I want both brothers speaking in spanish!! That's NOT fair!!
Ikr, that's one big regret for me too, I so wish they'd included but a single dialogue between them or smtg and in spanish, life truly would've been complete then😭(regarding this game😋).
@Lac the only time they should speak is when theyre on the beach looking at the sunset, and right here at 13:53 sean would be like “hey man” then he puts his hand on daniels shoulder, “te quiero”
then daniel would look over and say “yo también te quiero” then he puts his hand on sean’s shoulder, and then when they look at eachother and smile and the shot of the beach would happen and yeAh although i do prefer the silent endings thats just an idea lolz
This is my favorite ending and I love what Sean says to his mother when they’re about to leave “Fuck the rules. We’ll do whatever we have to in order to survive”
Fr! Law of the jungle! Anything goes fucks what's moral or right or wrong. Nature cares none of that but survival. Even if sacrifice are made.
I love the tune that gets added when Sean pulls out their father's lighter at 13:17 and him and Daniel both look at it sadly. This was the most powerful scene in the game and it didn't even need words.
the life they could've lived with pops in a sweet home, graduated with friends, career, work, jenn, lyla man this world can be cruel
I absolutely love how Sean just smiles at the dude holding the gun knowing Daniel is in the next room.. It's like hes happy that Daniel finally understands the difference in situations when to use his power and when not to use it... and who better to teach him that than Sean... I loved this ending.
There is no way in hell I'm gonna seperate these two brothers.
They don't owe the world a thing.
4:49, notice that Daniel isn't CATCHING the bullets. He created a force field.
Yeah
Best ending because this is how the judicial system should always be dealt with
I swear!
I'm so proud I got this ending. Man that drawing with them two being wolf and Daniel hands were up. So BADASS AND THEY BECAME GAMGSTAS. and when they still carried their father's legacy with the repair shop business. Love this ending.
I rather prefer this ending ( cuz agent Flores finally shuts up) or parting ways because in both endings Sean and Daniel both end up happy with people that they love
In parting ways Sean can end up with Cassidy or Finn living how he wanted to be, free. While Daniel is at home at Beaver Creek with his grandparents and lives a normal life with Chris
And in blood brothers they both have each other, like their dad said nothing is more important than family.
In parting ways Daniel does have an ankle bracelet tho...
RandomFishBucket would you rather Sean be dead or in federal prison for half of his life?
Lol i hate that agent so much lol. As well as the racist vigilantes.
Plot twist: Daniel made the storm that hit Arcadia Bay.
Dude what lol😂😂. Wait...😮😮...😲😲😲🤤???!....
Wait what that's fantastic and amazing 🙂🙂🙂
Maybe
makes no sense tho
Makes absolutely no sense time wise... lol
the lesson of this story is to care about you and your brother first. be persistent follow confident choosen path. destroy everything and everyone that stays in your path and gtfo. my way or the highway.
Actually the only lesson LIS has that all your actions have consequences. You decide what those are
@@syed1431 yup, what I think too. Similar to how "in real life" we all live in our own bubble of reality anyway so... pretty consistent gaming style if you ask me.
All the endings are bad in this episode 2... To me this is the best ending. Daniel did kill all the polices but in the end he choose to let the gangs live.. Means he is still a good person inside.
Jiminie nah He had to do what he had to do in order to go to Mexico.
Nah he wasn't being nice, it was a warning to the other gangs to leave them alone
@@TheAzuregreen why? he can just bass boosted their ass out of reality, after he kill many police, another 3 (also its a couple of gangstar, which are kinda bad people) wont really effect daniel, but Daniel didnt kill them, meaning Daniel still has a good heart inside him
It just hits you right in the feels... like man I thought the first one was good. This one is amazing and I've watched it all the way through! If only they found a way to continue the story a bit while they reached there final stop.
first one didn’t make me cry, but oh man did life is strange 2, every time I rewatch it/ hear the music I tear up..

@@ratlin2745 Same. The first season didn't touch me emotionally too much, but this one really did.
@@3838COTB Agreed entiely. I suppose it's about the types of emotional bonds we relate to and can connect with. I didn't weep for those in LIS1 but bawled my eyes on several occasions for these poor boys in LIS2, true masterpiece to me for what it made me feel😭😭.
This is hands down straightforward canon. Makes all the previous adventures have complete sense instead of crapping on Sean. Sean deserves better and this ending straight up delivers it. Especially since cops are in bad light in the Era of George Floyd and BLM against cops.
Exactly. This is the canon ending for me, and my favorite too. i've always hated the cops and the government too. RIP George Floyd, hope you are okay 😢
acab blood brothers is the superior badass ending no one can change my mind
@@azaraxy Hell yeah
Anyone notice daniels top resembles a cape when he’s blowing away the cops? Our little superhero 🦸♂️❤
Or supervillain.
The way Daniel was using his power to blow all the cops, their police cars, and the gate away was pretty epic.
Yep, I'm really glad that my Daniel had low morality
i think this is the first time playing a choice-based game that i got the "unethical" ending, or the one they didn't want you to choose. but in my opinion its clear that for these characters putting their brother over the rest of the world was their choice, and you went through so much shit it had to be for something. i knew that if sean surrendered then they wouldn't ever be together, and thats not what they wanted!
Well, if Sean had surrendered (with low morality of his brother) he would have died.
I don't think it's about anyone not wanting you to choose certain paths, it's literally and simply about shaping your charcaters and discovering yourself along the way, always remember that "good" and "bad" is what people make them to be, they do not exist on their own selves. I do believe this philosophy.
those other endings were really disappointing, wish I had got this one
Just don't press surrender, it's that simple
@@julian-hu9sw It's not that simple at all. If Daniel has "high morality" and you don't press surrender, he'll clear the way for you to escape and will yeet himself out of the car before you cross the border. He only gets this ending if he has "low morality." If Sean allows him to abuse his powers and basically not give a damn about anything or anyone, he'll end up like this.
@@Desmuria the way daniel acts in the ending is your choice. Teach him well
@@julian-hu9sw Obviously. That's exactly what I just said. If you teach him to not abuse his powers and to have "high morality", you will NOT get this ending at all. Even if you don't surrender. If you don't teach him well and he ends the game having "low morality", this ending becomes available as long as you have a high brotherhood rating with Sean and you tell him to use his powers on the police.
What did you get
BEST ENDING!!! HERMANOS DE SANGRE HELL YEAH
YES
i think calling this “low morality” is so fucking stupid. people act like sean and daniel are “immoral” or whatever in this ending but they fail to recognize the point that the entire system is immoral. it was either this, die, or spend 15 years in prison for a murder you didn’t commit. And parting ways is FAR from good. Let’s not forget Daniel is half Mexican and would be spending his whole teenage years with his trump supporting grand parents on house arrest...
Facts
Right saying goes "give me liberty of give me death" so literally lone wolf is better then redemption. Better be dead to have your freedom taken away.
What they did was technically “immoral,” but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right decision
That ending was Soo bad ass!!! So much better than the other ending!!
Why is this meant to be the "bad" ending, they reached where they were trying to go, overcame every obstacle and are still together. This is the best ending for the brothers
Yes agree, this is why I purposely didn’t title it ‘bad ending’ 👍
I think the only “bad ending” is Lone Wolf, the rest is subjective imo
only thing missing is finn coming up behind them and sharing a drink too. he woulda loved that beach life
Ben101 oh yeah cassidy could come too baha
or cassidy
I know how to get the Finn and Sean Mexico ending
Romance Finn (heist, save him, kiss, haircut, say you like boys, forgive him at hospital.) Have Daniel get high morality (no kill cougar, no steal, let LizBeth live, etc, etc.) and chose cross the border. Should be good.
finn is a dick, if you refuse to do the heist he takes daniel and almost gets him killed
@@fergboyrossgerson1412 but then you don't get daniel, which sucks.

1. Blood Brothers.
2. Parting ways
3. Redemption
4. Lone wolf
I got lone wolf first playthrew
@@GabeSELsecondleader Sucks...
Honestly parting ways is the best one
@@geeswithane7yrago303 Agreed.
I couldn't stand the Redemption ending, Sean looks broken by the end, and while their brotherly love is still strong, it just didn't feel good to me. Honestly...I liked Lone Wolf more than Redemption or Blood Brothers. Maybe it was Daniel's facial expressions looking off, but throughout the Blood Brothers ending Daniel looks like he regrets so much shit...but Lone Wolf kind of helps him realize what really happened and I think betters him morally, it sucks that Sean dies in that ending just like it sucked when Arthur died in rdr2, but Sean and Arthur helping the secondary protagonists to kind of live their life better seemed alright to me.
Personally I'm not satisfied with any of the endings, but that's the point I guess😅
This is the best ending. They're together after all, that's what matters.
What about the innocent people you killed to get this ending
@@philiwhop330 Cops and innocent are a direct contradiction
My favorite ending since they are together. I don’t want Sean to rot in prison
Even as Akiraniel, he is kind of adorable. And scary. Scary adorable?
And I LOVE that they reference Tetsuo's cape with his ripped t-shirt.
Atleast this time he doesn't turn into an infested mutant glob
Yeah, that would be both heart-breaking and gross.
Scary adorable, just perfect👌🏻.
I loved this ending. Its my favorite one. They both get to go to Mexico, and who knows maybe their family can visit them later. I know Karen. Finn or Cassidy would. Not sure about their grandparents.
Imagine caring about some random cops and an unhelpful federal agent more than the mistreated kids that you've been following this entire time. Can't relate.
I got this one in my first playthrough recently and I feel no regrets. I like how they reward you for living up for the choices you made troughout the game. Knowing all the endings I'd get the Lone Wolf one if at the very last moment I decided to follow society's rules after showing Daniel that for the sake of us being together it is okay to take revenge and kill. It's also great how you don't have to keep their morality low since episode 1 to get this. It makes room for character development you do for yoursef. Like, I was protective and correct at the begining, trying to not hurt others and keep Daniel's powers in secret, but when things kept getting worse for them I started to put us in the first place no matter what we'd have to do to survive. We internalized a bitter sense of anger an revenge once I saw how bad that rotten society could be at us and said "fuck this bs".
Amazing game, even after days of beating it, I can't get it out of my head.
Terrible ending
It makes perfect sense: this is a wild, wild world.
They were accused of cop killing at the beginning, but they can massacre over a dozen officers. To reach their goal Sean and Daniel became what they were accused of being; killers. Talk about ironic.
@@BenDaGoat I think you're right and that's exactly why I love this ending so much. No excuses or justifications, they just accepted what they've become.
@@celestialfang4370 more so that they accepted what everyone told them they were, there is no proving them wrong anymore, there's only making them wish they were
The police showed up and murdered their unarmed father who was trying to make peace. That was the beginning. So they got revenge. A kid with super powers and everything, it's a special circumstance.
Well, the cops did stand in their way and point guns at them. So it’s still not murder, just self defense.
Labeling theory is true shit, mi amigo
I was like “KILL. THEM. ALL.” During this ending, they survived on their own for so long, I wasn’t about to turn back for them. And I’m pretty sure Sean will try his best to make sure that Daniel has a good childhood.

Best ending this would be the same in my situation too if me and my little brother where in their shoes, but at the end we would have ruled the world
The still shot at 13:44 was so powerful to me. It made me realize this whole story wasn't about me, the player ( Shaun ). It was all for Daniel. And his expression here is a mix of hope and pain, so much doubt and uncertainty in his eyes. It sucks this is last we'll ever see of their story.

Iam so glad I got this ending. I could not give up, Sean will spend 100 years in prison for hurting all those people. I teached Daniel sometimes is violence necessary to survice, they cant go back to a normal life after what they saw. If you got powers use them, for f**k sake!
The first one was good, but not that intense, it was clear for me that chloe must be die, sad but it was clear. The second one got me really hard on the ending.
I was crying and shaking on 3:55...holy crap.
Pamyira sean goes to jail for 15 years not 100 lol. And this isnt the best ending, best one is where sean ends up in mexico and daniel in US, both of them are happy where theyre and most importantly they are criminals

But I couldnt have known so, the choice was clear, I wouldnt go to jail, only because a racist donkey cried about his shirt. I rather die.
Its okay for u to say, that the ending where they got seperated is the best for you, but in my opinion is this ending the best by far.

Possibly the best ending imo. Sean and Daniel look so good in this one.
The worst
@@philiwhop330 Nah not really.
Honestly if you go back and cycle through their progress in every episode, ESPECIALLY episode 5, you'll see that this is probably the best ending they could have. Talking to everyone about your goal and heading to Mexico with no regrets is very nice to refresh back on.. Some say Daniel isn't happy in Mexico or that they have to constantly fight off gangs to survive. But remember that Daniel grew up this way. Learning to steal, use his power to protect his brother AND himself, and overall living the way Sean told him how to live. He seems used to it if this all happened in a span of 6 years. Also the cops kinda gave them shit for a year so they deserve this massacre at the border. I call this a fair ending.
This is only an opinion don't hurt me.
Why do you think they Steal ? Daniel Steals in the lone wolf ending but not in this one. They have a legit business running and only protect themselves!
@@sonic9910only people that try and steal from them are common thugs. Daniel using his powers against them is justified, but I only fear that more people will know of his power and send the damn cartel after him

forever mad that you had to be low morality to get this ending. I played the game willing to move heaven and earth for daniel, all while trying to do the right thing and the best for him. the fact that its impossible for them to grow up together while being high morality isnt fair. I know thats supposed to be the point, but after EVERYTHING sean sacrifices, he deserves to be happy with his little brother.
Pretty sure this should be the canon ending. Or the one where Sean goes to prison. The one where Daniel stays and Sean goes may sound nice but in every ending a gang will always attack the one in Mexico. So without Daniel, Sean could be killed or just be part of a gang to survive.
I like to assume Sean managed to stay safe with family or people he could trust in Mexico in the parting ways ending and sorry but redemption shouldn’t be a canon ending maybe blood brothers but not redemption just cuz Sean is a broken man in that one
my first and final ending, couldnt be more satisfied
It is a good life we lead, Brother
The best. And may it never change
I finished the game last night, having gone into it with no spoilers, and got this ending having no idea about any of the others. Now that I’m looking at the others, thank GOD. I’m so happy with my ending.
THAT ENDING RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULES
FREAKING AWESOME
Edit: My only complain is that there are only a few pics in the board at the end...
It’s weird how older Daniel looks so much like Sean yet u can still see he looks like Daniel.
One problem the next life is strange game it can’t be based on Sean or Daniel 😭😭
Actually there is going to be a third life is strange. I also rumors that there are going to connect all the main characters of the series!
@Murv STFU
Since the episode 5 ,I'm so sad life is Strange ended .I wrote a fanfiction about this my OC being their sister and ...I feel like I have to say ''so long '' to my brothers .2019 was terrible for me ,being with them was like an escape ,Waiting for every episode add some sense to my life ...I think that when Daniel look at the beach at the end he was like '' were happy now but what's next !? '' I can relate ...
As of right now, I don't think 2020 is that much better for both of us.
This is not a bad ending. I know it's not exactly flowers and sunshine but some folks are trying a bit too hard to find tons of negatives here.
Many people think that Redemption is the ending that honours brothers' bond but I can't really agree on that. You can see in that ending it's too many years apart for them to rebuild anything decent. Their lives are too different now. That's why, in spite of what Sean did for Daniel, they end up parting their ways anyhow.
THIS ending is a true homage to Sean's and Daniel's brotherhood. No matter how bad things around them got, brothers stayed loyal to each other and had each other's back.
This little hug they do right before the screen fades is the best symbol of what really matters to them.
Considering what they had to go through and how many people on the way encouraged brothers to stay together and finish fighting for their freedom, it's definitely one of the most appriopriate ways to end this story.
The best ending, period, just like lis 1 chloe living
If I how to feel about this ending, sure their together, they both seem to be doing well for themselves, but Mexico never seemed like something Daniel wanted, Daniel did show that at the end but he was only nine years old, he was only doing what Sean has taught him which is to put each other first. At 13:40 we get to see his face and idk, to me I think he feels conflicted about where he is right now, it’s always been about him and his brother but what about what he wants? I guess you can say this is a happy ending but I just don’t feel like Daniel is truly “free” in this ending in the sense that he made this choice when he was nine, and it just seems that in this moment he somewhat regrets his decision
I kinda agree! He looks lonely in a sense because the ONLY person he has is his brother. I wish they would've showd maybe new friends he made or something and if he went to school
But on the other side of that... I think he also was making that face because that lighter is a reminder of their dad and everything they've been through
Paris Korin I see what you mean, there’s a ton of ways it can be interpreted, there isn’t really a clear answer anywhere of what Daniel thinks in that moment, or maybe there is and I’m just stupid😂
Outlaws for Life!
Lol thinking about it Arthur's story probably did influence my decisions haha
Visiting this video after 4 years have passed..... The time has passed so quickly and I'm still missing them. D:
I got this ending at first I was a bit bitter cuz we didn’t see any of the other characters and I felt that killing agent Flores and the other cops was kind of bad, but after looking at the other endings it was the right choice besides parting ways. It’s better to have a free Sean then a dead or broken one.
This is my favorite ending and I feel like the best one as well. It's easy to go on about how this isn't what their dad would've wanted for them or that Daniel didn't get to have a "normal" childhood. Yes, their dad wanted them to have some different morals and work within the law, but he mainly wanted them to look out for each other. He valued that much more than the law itself, otherwise he would've tried different ways to reach America in the more "legal" way. He was valuing his family and was willing to do what needed to be done in order to give them the best life. Regarding Daniel's childhood not being normal, he was never going to have a normal childhood as soon as he witnessed his dad being killed in front of him. Not to mention the many other traumas he experienced as they travel down to Mexico. It's easy to throw in snap shots of him doing "normal" child and teen things, but he would still have the traumas he experienced. Daniel and Sean are together and look out for each other. They navigate the world with their own morals that can differ from the law, but that doesn't make them necessarily bad. They exercised restraint when Sean was almost attacked by some of their enemies. It would've been easy to kill them, but they didn't. I think their dad would still be proud of them, because they're together and such a solid duo. Also, to be honest, I feel like it would super against Sean's character to surrender. He literally would do anything to be with Daniel and keep him under his watch. Yes, Sean knows that his grandparents would do a good job watching him, but deep down he feels like he can do it better himself, especially cause of Daniel's powers. That's why he didn't surrender when they were with his grandparents. So it makes sense that the ending he is still with Daniel, no matter what.
Hey do you know what the ending songs called?
I agree with everything you said. I'd rather have Sean and Daniel together than let them surrender. Plus, if they wanted to surrender, they could've done that back in episode 1 or right in the middle of episode 2 after Sean's conversation with his grandparents.
@@nicatina I used to believe in this ending, but Daniel is clearly unhappy with it, He is solely relying on Sean, doesn't speak the language and in the end when Daniel even looks unsure at the end right before Sean comforts him just doesn't feel right, He has shown in the game he didn't want to go to Puerto Lobos, and even by other characters it's shown that although Sean wants to go to Puerto Lobos, it doesn't always mean paradise. In the end, I feel parting ways is better for both of them, They want to have each other, but what they want isn't always what they need, Daniel especially.
@@Mithras-jp4jp That's fine, we all have different opinions anyway. Also, I personally think that Sean and Daniel aren't happy in all endings, because you know, life isn't about happy endings but there's bittersweet moments where they smile :)
Best ending ever. Who cares about those recist popo whose always against them, accused them, and not do their due diligence to actually investigate the dad's death. Those corrupted system that villainized these innocent people. When Daniel the hero sweeps all these popo like dirts, i feel debt is paid. Redemption. Nobody can ever separate these brothers. Just like when i chose to save Chloe, i chose to be together with my brother through thick and thin. Loyalty > morality.
This is the ending I got and I thought I got a bad ending but apparently it is one of the best endings / the best ending so I’m very happy they stick together in the end and not split up x
I don't understand how people can deduce that Daniel doesn't want to go to Mexico, when the end depends exactly on whether he wants to go to Mexico or not. If he doesn't want to go, it's the end redemption or parting ways. If he wants to go, it's lone wolf or blood brothers. To have the end blood brothers, it's necessary that Daniel wants to go to Mexico. That's the whole point of the game.
Every ending makes me cry.
Regardless of whether people perceive this as the best ending or not, my goodness. Daniel is such a badass in this one.
I got this ending and it was the best one
Man I didn’t get this ending🙃 I hit Hank, stole things, let Daniel cuss & killed that mountain cat and got Chris hit by a car but still got the parting ways end
I just didn’t kill lisbeth and do the heist
Best ending, I’m grateful this is the one I got.
You should be ashamed
@@philiwhop330 why
I should be ashamed? Really? Cause I’m not. Like, at all.
This is my favorite ending, Finn, karen, cassidy, brody, chris, their grandparents, jacob all put their lives at risk to help sean and daniel reach mexico. i feel like if they were to surrender everyone’s sacrifices would have been for nothing.
Eveything that those two went through was worth it in the end
I initially got the surrender ending where Daniel ends up with his grandparents. It's a sweet yet emotional ending, however, I much prefer the blood brothers ending. Sure, the Diaz family has to restart back in Mexico but the boys are closer than ever and have a trade under their belt. I felt like I smothered my lil bro in too many rules in an attempt to balance morality and brotherhood.
This is my favorite ending. I got it on my first play through it just causes me so sad because even though they’re together they still have to fight.
I can't believe this game came out a year ago this was one of the best games I've ever played
