Love your videos, you show the good and bad and you have such a great personality. Keep everything light hearted and fun,. Carp fishing is a lifelong journey of learning, I've been at it since the early 80's and still learning!!

Love your vlog ,if you cut a small cola bottle in to a funnel and put it in the opening of your pva bag you can put pellets straight from the bag glug stick mix anything in your bag quick and no mess so no rats creping about at night looking for stuff on the floor👍

Loving your journey, and you've certainly got a great sense of humour, very refreshing.
Rather than bombard you with loads of tips I'd start by trying to find some fish activity, appreciate sometimes lakes are rammed but where possible it's a massive edge. Being a new venue have a walk round and check for hiding places where they may go to avoid pressure.
Good luck & tight lines (or slack 😉😅)

    Anther great watch
Won’t mention the pod think we all been there once lol
Looks a lovely water with the swims on own , I used to fish solids like that but on long casts they used to come off , if use now I use a baiting needle and pull the hook link through the bag , or make solid bags with small bag rigs , keep up the good work and keep enjoying as every one watching is enjoying your journey 🎣

Your my favourite fishing person to watch. Your use of the word 'situation' is a joy to me! I'm a bit of a newbie to carp fishing myself and I'm 63! You look very proficient to me, but there again I'm a bit shit! Keep up the good work. 👍

Don't forget about natural baits also, there's more to carp fishing bait than just boilies... Especially if you're struggling to get bait.
Sweetcorn and chick peas for example are both great alternatives, dirt cheap and will often out fish boilies.

PVA bags with ground bait and halibut pellets with a large halibut pellet on the hair rig. Works for me. I leave my rods out till i catch. Not to make to much disturbance. Top up the swim with a catapult.

Nearly every carp angler I've come across, given the chance, has given me their opinion on how to fish. "you could do it like this" and "you could do it like that" and "you should try this bait". It's par for the course.
There's no manual on how to fish that lake on that day. Trial & error and experience over time is how you figure it out and get better at anything in life.
Fun and interesting video anyway, so I'll keep watching them.

Great video. Blanking is all part of fishing!! Don’t let it change too much - one thing I would say is grab a pair of Polaroid’s - iratger fish one rod with Polaroids instead of two with none. They are, and will become your best friend on the bank … 👌🏼😎

Great Video, reminds me of times I used to fish with my grandad in Poland. Now I live in Ireland and most popular is spinning fishing. Mostly pikes and mackerels. Its actually so fun to watch some carps and other similar fish. I am wondering if you ever gonna go for spinning, such as pikes and trout and other similar fish??? Would love to see different types of fishing and different fish if possible. No pressure tho, its great to see you feeling more confident in front of camera and enjoying what you love doing.

Great watch and my only bit of advice would be take a little tub and mix the booster into the mix before putting it into your solid bags this way it will soak into the bait and not disperse so quickly into the water and will be hanging around your spot for longer

Hiya its Paul with adhd again 😂 ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.....❤👏👏👏
Them pva bags look poor quality on the video, try esp PERFORATED sock type one's, easy to open whick is less stress lol, also you won't ever need to prick it again! especially how tightly compact you build them (to perfection) UNPERFORATED needs pricking no matter how compact it is it will float like its a bag of pop-ups! Hope iv helped people's floater issues 😂
I would advise you to have your lines a little slacker though, if you think about the tension to the weight, the rig-tubing will be pulled straight and not be flat to the ground, depending on the bottom it could be possible its well on show etc. Noticed the cast about 10.05,,, spooks a fish in front of you haha, looks like its near the margins on the other side 😂
Always the margins for me, close as possible, under the feet! I will bait that area and 9/10 tails are out the water, sly-slip with my rig, bish-bash-bosh! That tactic has saved so many blanks for me! Keep the video's coming happy days.

  • @shraati

Nothing wrong with your aproach 👍.a tip i would give you is to get a bag of boilies no matter wich ones. Cut em in half spread some on the spots. And for hook baits use chick peas one bag is enough. Soak em boil em with some chillie shortly and let em sit for half a day. This method got me lots of fishes when everything else didnt work. So Rock&roll and thigt lines 👊

I followed you in to the”boat swim” on Wednesday afternoon. Also used pop ups, both yellow and pink; over pellet. Same spots throughout the 24hrs and I caught ………………. F@(£ all as well. Wish I had had been able to see this vid before I arrived. But like you, I fancied Winter swim, where the bloke was, (he had 2 doubles in 72 hrs). Currently in Bench swim 1 and still nothing, You should have come back. Only 2 people on the lake. Great vids, keep them coming.

Someone may have already said this... but while i think of it, try making the bag up with your dry baits... get a syringe and inject the bag with your booster. I personally use "Goo" and just punch it into the bag and squeeze it in! No mess!
Also... stick a baiting needle through your bag before filling it up (Hamidi style), twist the top and bash it on your palm to knock the air out!
    Give it a bash...

Set up how you like...do your own thing. Two things I tend to do are prepare a few mesh bags at home and also have a spare rig set up on a quick change link just in case you need to cast to showing fish. Don't be too concerned about leaving rigs out though, the less disturbance in your swim the better.

August is always a slow month but itll pick up until about mid november when they can keep coming all day and all night if you get it right. Heres my secret tip on bait in match fished venues like that , as we go into autumn (dont do this if its slow) the amount of food one matchman will put in is about upto the 5 pints limit. Thats alot in other words itll bring the 1lbers , and the shy 20s believe it. And then they all go home again !

  • @craigmitchell4945
    @craigmitchell4945 Рік тому

Something else worth trying and it doesn’t break the bank if fishery rules allow go to Asda or Tesco get yourself three or four bags of chick peas tip them in a bucket poor in some water so they cover all the chick peas put in a generous amount of rock salt and some Nash scopex squid syrup or tiger nut oil , hemp oil or any liquid flavour of your preference as chick peas soak up flavours like a sponge leave em to soak for 24 hours then boil for 20 minutes. I have done really well on a lot of venues with this method and caught a lot of the wiser bigger known residents on my syndicate waters with this tactic another good combo is fishing chick peas with sweet corn chin up lass the results will come the more you go fishing the more you adapt and learn. Also always remember basic rule of thumb if conditions are high pressure always check the shallow water first if it’s low pressure head to the deeper water of the lake and see if there are any signs of carp in the area. Your channel is awesome and your doing good keep it up 👍

It's great to hear your thought process throughout your sessions! (All of which sounded like good ideas that were definitely worth trying. 😉) Keep doing what you're doing, I really enjoy the content you're making. 👍
P.s. I've noticed you wrestling with the net to break it down. That's something I always used to struggle with too! 😂 Then one day, an elderly angler showed me an easy way to do it! Try putting your elbow against the net arm (on the inside of the net) and then reach your hand across to the other net arm and push it away. Should come out a lot easier. 😉

Tight lines alway hard fishing new places but as long as you learn something the session its allngood and we try again
