- In this video, Foxy and Wayne make the long journey down to Oxfordshire to FINALLY fish at the esteemed Linear Fisheries.
It was all a bit mad for us but we managed to get on Brasenose 2 in some ok pegs but they unfortunately weren't in the main bowl where the carp tend to stack up in winter.
Watch to find out if we could get some Linear carp on the bank.

It's full of fish trailing line in there, which might explain your savage takes.

Great video lads. It's always tough at this time of year and the Crayfish can be a nightmare for sure. You live and learn and as you both said at the end of the video the peg you get really matters. Bring on the spring and some longer daylight hours. Sunny sessions and some tight lines are just around the corning. Take it easy lads. Lovely Times

@@FreshFishing I went in March mate so was still Cold ish, ya need to spod alot of bait in they mate how much bait did ya spod in, and it needs to be accurate with spodding so ya got a tite bed of bait
Foxy was spodding accurately a fair bit but I wasn’t. Testing both tactics.
I still think we’re both much better than you at fishing 👀😂😂

Guys I find Linear far to commercial.I fished it when all they had was St John's & one other back many years far better, then..It's all money,money,money.You live & learn I will never return.👍🎣

Nice reels are those Aerlex I had a set before I upgraded to the Ultegras, Best thing for the drag system is Put a set of Ice Washers in. Makes a huge difference 👍🏻

Maybe you could have tried some bread popped up roughly 3 to 4 ft off the bottom a light visual bait away from the crayfish sometimes that works for me
Good shout tbf didn’t think of that but I did try a few different things and just couldn’t get away from the buggers!
