I remember visiting the cockpit of one of the A320 first prototype with a very relaxed test crew from Airbus sipping coffee during its route proving stage in GVA back in '87 or '88. Time flies.
I've been on a A321 neo Cebu Pacific flight to Incheon Korea and back 5J 188 and 5J 187 and the A321 neo is BUILT DIFFERENT. Comfortable seats, 10/10 legroom. Keep doing better Airbus!
This kind of video helps a lot for those of us who have a fear of flying... I have flown in the A320 4 times and I can really say that it is an extremely comfortable and spacious plane, also quiet...
I also had heavy fear of flying in a airplane , But Somehow at the age of 24 to take my studies at a place where I had to take a flight I flew twice in A320 with Indigo Airlines , Now my 50% fear is gone 😁
How can the A320 be considered underrated? It is quite literally the most ordered airliner in history, despite being decades younger than the previous record holder, the ancient 737.
How is fly by wire safer than mechanical linkage? If it fails or power fails, what then? No control of the stick. Buy, that sure does sound safe. Explain how that is a safer alternative.
Simple. Because there are no moving parts in a FBW system. Yes if power fails then it fails, but for that it has redundancy (you have to loose both engines, the APU, the emergency generator and batteries at the same time for that to happen). In a mechanical system, since it has moving parts, a much higher level of maintainence is required to keep it operational.
@@ZK-APA I work on turbines and they constantly break down. And I’ve seen multiple redundancies fail, so yes, if all those failed, how can someone fly the plane or will it be a dead stick?
@@Linkskyfyre in case of the 320, the rudder and the THS (elevator trim) is still mechanical linked. So even in the theoretical worst case of all electrics gone, you can still have basic controls available
@@igorgoncharov3191 The first C919 at China Eastern has not yet entered service with the airline as far as I’m aware, with the aircraft not carrying passengers since its delivery late last year.
@@NaenaeGaming The point here is: the airplane is not a testbed, but a serial unit. The delay is due to preparations of ground services and management for non-stop ops, it has nothing to do with aircraft condition itself.
A moment of silence for the smallest member of the family, the original Baby Bus, the A318, which did not make the jump into the NEO family
my favorite in the family
the a318 is a private jet tho
@@noyou-fu9oh no was operated by a lot of companies like airfrance for example
o7, rip A318, died too young

Just flew last week in a new A321neo and I was really impressed with how spacious it was. Nice 😊

Reason to love Airbus!
Good to know! I think I'll buy few of them.
Thanks for the opportunity to work with you Airbus Airlines Fleets 2023 editions ordered new delivered In Twenty four hours.

I realy love the a320 family. It was the first aircraft i flew!

I miss those little A318
A220-100 killed these off
A320 the plane that landed on a river without breaking. One tough and well built aircraft.
Awesome Airbus, as always 😎👏
i just want to thank you for updating the video
Safety tests are the top priority to Airbus.
Love the A321 XLR master piece.
The a320 family is one of the most underrated plane families in my opinion. Its much better than boeings overrated 737s.
remember, airbus > boeing
to be honest, The 737s and the a320s are both overrated according to me

from a passengers point of view
I love Airbus
Me too
this is why i love airbus so much
A320 and 737. Two narrowbody airplanes best for short to medium haul domestic and international flights.
My favourite is the A321❤
*737 has joined the chat*
AIRBUS YOU NEED TO MAKE A NEO A318 PLEASE
I like the #A330 can you make that?
The 5 people who disliked are 737 fanboys
ah the return youtube dislike extension gang
love aribus
Just so simple
0:40 OMG is that Damon Hill sitting in the front row?
I love a320family more than b737
we use the cebu pacific a320neo and we ride last june 30
IAE V2500 best choice of Engines...
It’s CFM LEAP-1A
Imagine the A3
RIP 737
My dream plane to fly
The A320s sound better
but that 737 nose man
kiva musavideo...ei kerrottu mitää!! :(
244 passengers, 6+ hours endurance and only 2 toilets for some operators…
Don't blame the manufacturer, blame the airline who ordered the aircraft in that configuration.
✈👍
whats a fly-by-wire?
When the planes control surfaces are controlled electronically rather than hydraulically resulting in no need for a yolk.

Is it safe?
Yes very very safe unlike the boeing 737
Congratulations for getting biggest order from indiago
Poor A318 :(
The A220-100 had killed the A318
You forgot the A318
No, they didn’t. The A318 does not have a neo variant, as the A220-100 has replaced it in the lineup.
@@NaenaeGaming the title does not specify the NEOs and the A220 did not replace it it’s a completely different aircraft
@@bricksblocks228also most or some airlines have ditched the orders of the A318 and immediately opted for the slightly large A319 or A320
What a318?
"Widest" aircraft is narrower than МС-21 and C919
Indeed its cabin is narrower, however I imagine Airbus is only counting aircraft which are currently in service, which discounts them both.

These planes insult the pilot during landing💀
nowonder Boeing panicking and made some falling mistakes
🙄
Very good aircraft but very slow motion deliveries by Airbus to Indian carriers. Don't know why can't Airbus increase their production.
It's an aircraft. It takes time to build one. The limiting factor here is logistics
First one 🔥🫠
Boeing 737 is the oldest and the most successful aircraft family ever !
Yes but the A320 is much better
Even the older 737s we're safe because the 737 MAX series are death traps in the sky
