Welcome to "Nick Cave week" on Tiny TV 🖤 @nickcave
In this week, I will give you some of the best questions and answers from the first Nick Cave interview in 5 years! It took place as a press conference at The Royal Danish Library, December 2020. I was there as a representative for The Danish National Broadcasting Corporation (the radio channel "P6 BEAT") and Tiny TV.
By the end of "Nick Cave week", I will upload the entire press conference.
In this fourth excerpt I give you my own questions to Nick Cave. I ask him to tell about his newfound openness via The Red Hand Files and the "In Conversation" shows. We also talk about the process of making Ghosteen.

"Well, first of all, I'm still dark." The best. He is not the only artist with a "tendency towards darkness", but his is a thoughtful, thought-provoking and intelligent darkness that always inspects itself and the world, attracting like-minded individuals. It's been interesting to see it mature over the years. His darkness shines like the black sun.
I've not really followed Nick Cave a great deal since the Birthday party days and King Ink etc when he was known as King of the Indies. One lyric I always remember from Deep in the woods.' I took her from rags right through to stitches, tonight we sleep in separate ditches'. He's a legend and one of the greatest artists of his generation..
you got to make Nick Cave laugh in public on film in your lifetime, you're on a great path Anders! few have accomplished that very feat.🎖️
Not talking to the press is liberating unless it is this type of venue and intelligent journalists not hacks. Thanks Anders

I was always a very social person my whole life, but I'm finding 'reclusion' to be incredibly accommodating for my creativity. I've written more in the last year than I had for a decade or more. I don't know 'why' it's working like that for me, but it's been an amazing little gift through all the noise of this time period. (Granted I do mostly novelty/fauxback songs, but still... I thought being indoors would make it impossible to find 'stimulation'/inspiration, but I've just thrust myself into memories of different contexts I've experienced already, and it feels almost like a bottomless well now.)
I've loved watching so many people get creative and uncover their quirks and passions over the past 12 months. I'm hoping it doesn't disappear when people go back outside!!
