@@harryluce3737 I can. For some reason, he is considered by many to be a lyricist of a similar magnitude to Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits. No check out a few lines from Into my arms, one of his most famous songs, and tell me that's not just bad writing. And I don't believe in the existence of angels But looking at you I wonder if that's true But if I did I would summon them together And ask them to watch over you A few obvious questions: 1. what does 'that' in the second line refer to? To the entire first line. So he tells us he doesn't then maybe he does. But at the same time, I think he means 'that' to refer to existence of angels. And then the 'But' in the third line, what's that in contrast to? It's shoddy writing, certainly not poetry on a par with Waits and Cohen.
