That was so fun to see! In my opinion, it's way harder to coax natural performances out of amateur actors, than people who just watch the finished product would think. Creating a relaxed on-set atmosphere is probably one of the most important things and that seems to be something you do effortlessly (even if it is effort). Can't wait to see you make use of your own acting chops, to direct some more perfomance heavy "ensemble" stuff in the future.

Seeing people doing the thing they love (not just a job for them) puts a smile on my face. When me and my brother shoot a video (not our job , we are just hobbists) we become 2 little boys once again. Keep inspiring and be a good mentor for everyone Josh. Bravo!
Acting can be a lot of work, but you can end up with some fantastic shots once you pull it off. Always fun to see the behind the scenes of your projects!

It’s absolutely amazing what two people can make versus a large hollywood crew. I would like to see a cost breakdown from a producer showing what your video would cost with a “proper” crew and post production team.
Everything you put out looks like it cost a million dollars. 🤑

I have been watching this channel almost from the moment of its foundation, and only now I realized that -Josh- Matt Dillon looks like -Matt Dillon- Josh.
The DJI Ronin 4D is really cool. However, DJI's design engineers should consider the same concept to be applicable to TV productions especially TV dramas, TV news shoots and stage shows. For that news, the cameraman must also be carried on his shoulders because he has to hold the camera for a long time all the time. and sometimes have to raise the camera at a high angle above the head Because they want to avoid the look of journalists together. Camera shooting needed to be able to put the camera on the shoulder and raise the camera higher. I hope this comment gets some attention and builds on it so that we can actually use it.

That was really cool to watch! This answers a lot of questions and has helped me start thinking deeper about how I can shoot various scenes. Did you have to do any type of permitting or anything for some of the street action shots? How do you go about getting those?
I have a few more BTS coming out in the next next few weeks for that project. Lots to unpack. The car scenes will be discussed soon!

So this is kind of why I bought the DJI RavenEye for my Ronin-SC2, but I can't get it to work, it's just too unreliable. So am I guessing right that this 4D thing you're using is a very different technology?
