Your packing video is just what I needed to get some inspiration and tips for my upcoming trip. I love how organized and efficient you are with your packing. The tech items and travel essentials you mentioned are definitely must-haves, and I appreciate the links you provided for easy shopping. The pool and beach essentials you showed are not only practical but also stylish. I'm definitely going to take your advice and pack multiple sunglasses to match different outfits. The adjustable hat is such a smart idea for keeping hair up and staying cool under the sun. Thank you for sharing your packing process with us. I'll be subscribing to your channel for more travel and lifestyle content. Have an amazing time on your vacation!
Shorts under dresses is a staple for females that grew up in the Islands, I taught this to my young female students moms. Got tired of seeing little girls on the slides outside playing and all you see is their underwear and sometimes more so I had a talk with some moms and they were grateful, not something everyone thinks of. It was ingrained in me as a young girl.
Oh good. 👍 I’m so glad it was helpful! Thanks for your feedback! Definitely if you are doing carry-on only, you have to think a little bit differently when packing because of minimal space. And you can only do the 3 ounce bottles of liquids. I have done carry-on only before, but usually for a trip like this I enjoy not having to “cut back.”
Thanks for the great tips! The only thing I wonder is that your sunscreen for the body is 6 Fl oz (from Kroger) and the MaryKay sunblock (4oz) both are larger than carryon allowable size (3.4oz) so might get confiscated. 3-1-1 (3.4oz - 1 clear pouch per - 1 passenger )
Thanks for all these tips! And I love your hair! Does this mousse that you use keep your hair from ever frizzing later in the day? And where do you get that? Thanks for any tips!!
Thanks so much for watching & thanks for the sweet comment about my hair! I’m not sure exactly which mousse I had in at the time, but I usually use a lot of amika products. The shield is a spray I use for spf protection and it helps with frizz (that one is not a mousse), but I also use their mousse and love it. I usually shop with them online.
That’s a really great question. There wasn’t any item that I wished I had brought that I didn’t bring, but I definitely would have packed differently. Going into any flight I try to bring in my carry-on a full day’s worth of items that I might need in case my luggage is lost or doesn’t make it. We didn’t get our luggage for a day and a half, so I wish I would have packed all of my toiletries and a day’s-worth of clothing etc. in my carry-on. Instead, I used my carry-on for heavier items and things I would need on the plane, but definitely should’ve been a little bit smarter. I’ve traveled enough and should know this, but I often think, “it won’t happen this time.” Yep. It happened. 😲😏 Will not make that mistake again.
Mexico is such a wonderful place! What's your favorite place to eat there? and have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.
Yes! I love Mexico! I have heard lots of great things about the Bento Bag but don’t have one personally. Were you asking about my favorite place to eat at the resort we went to (El Dorado Royale)? I
I just added a link in the description on this video for a portable charger that is very comparable to the one that I have. There are several like this, so you can check those out and see which one you like better.
Oh my goodness, I wish I had a link for that dress! I love it so much! I got it at a little boutique store. I really need to get more clothes that I can link for you all. I love unique, fun stuff. Thanks for watching! 😊
@m.ua-cam.com/channels/9jJPbHJhps4nbWsfd7Phcw.html I know I’m a few years past this video date- but did you experience any trouble with packing all of your vitamins that way- not in their original bottles?? My husband and I are big health nuts and want to bring all of our daily supplements, but I’ve read/heard conflicting things about non-prescription supplements/vitamins going through customs. Please help! Thanks for your great video 😊
So far, I have never had trouble with packing my prescriptions and supplements this way. I always pack them in bags and often do it on my carry-on and I never have a problem. That is so far…

It’s a great wardrobe essential! My girls wear leggings or shorts under all of their skirts too. ❤️
Great tips. Thanks for sharing and for being so descriptive 😊

Thanks for the reply. It’s definitely a well thought out packing list ! It’ll help me plan our upcoming Playa del Car trip in June ❤

Sounds like a fun trip! And you seemed very organized and thorough! Was there anything you wished you had brought but didn’t?
