The Duke of Cambridge lays a wreath at the Cenotaph in London as part of the ANZAC Day commemorations.
Alongside him is New Zealand's High Commissioner to the UK Bede Corry and Australia's High Commissioner to the UK George Brandis as they honour those from their countries who have fallen during conflict.

Know times our very tuff for "Prince William". As always, he continues to serve the British people. And, doses it well. The strength and dignity he holds close to his heart. Same, as his mother Princess Diana. The Prince of Hearts. Know the Queen, Prince Phillip and both his parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Are very proud. What a legend of a legacy for the future. Prince has had the best traing for his future laid out for him. And....., he couldn't have chosen a better person to be at his "FOREVER"........, life. Representing him as the future King of England. Very smart of "Prince William", who took things very slow in making sure he got Mrs. Right. What an example he is. That a real relationship takes time to really get to know that right person. Great lesson for us to follow. Texas/USA🇺🇸
Of course it's hard. But he is duty-bound to do it not just because of QEII but because of his ancestors going back hundreds of years.

Please remember the ANZACs were serving OUR country during WW 1, through a sense of allegiance. Their fallen were doubly valiant and honour worthy. We thank you, to the Diggers RIP.
I’m Scottish and my great uncle ,and his Scottish regiment ,was at Gallipoli. I always think of him and all these brave young men on this day.

@Hello 29...Why shame Prince Harry? After all Harry served in the military for 10 years and completed two tours of duties in Afghanistan. Harry's Invictus Games are a tribute to all military men and women who sacrificed themselves and sustained injuries...mental and/or physical. Prince Harry really didn't have future in the Monarchy. It was going to be all about William, Kate and the kids. In fact, Prince Harry would have been William's shadow, William's whipping post, and a nobody just like Princess Margaret who dranked herself to death.
William does not have a choice....he's doing exactly what he has been trained to do as a future king...doing those traditional ceremonies year after year; year after year....no half-in and half-out. Not a chance to do something else to his liking. Doesn't seem fair...more like being trapped in nightmare paid for by the UK people.

A tour lasts at least 6 months if not longer. I’m not even mentioning that he had security 24/7. And they ig were formed when they were together under royal foundation represented by both ddoc and harry. We saw this year empty seats.
Cold shivers!!! He does it with dignity and without fanfare. God save and protect my future King and his family.

When Charles becomes king William will be his father's right hand, he never complains he gets on with what's expected of him. My very best wishes to him & his family including the Royal family

Diana was a good mother, but Prince William is very much a product of his father's training.
In my opinion, Harry is the result of being too much like his mother.
Plenty of outward and visible show of 'good works' but harbouring a jealous and vindictive spirit when not given what he craves - recognition, praise and non-stop attention.

When I see this and other poignant and traditional ceremonies in the U.K. I'm sad that we are slowly but surely losing ours in the U.S. They are necessary and important to be remembered and to unite us as a people, culture and nation! Ahmmmm, I don't know what America that you are looking at but, I very much see America's traditions alive and well, especially on the fourth of July, which is the country's birthday and I see it in the very staples of American food, and I see it in the people that I am around. So, when comparing America to other parts of the world, just remember that other countries aren't as mixed with different cultures and backgrounds as ours are and their traditions aren't from each ethnic group, it's from one in particular. In addition, America is the youngest country in the world so, she is still changing, being shaped, and modified in ways that other countries aren't even with their thousand year old history. None of the less, it's what makes her special and to stand out.

I'm an old lonely woman recently widowed & whom God recently healed from cancer, who enjoyed watching the Royals in UA-cam. It diminished my chemo pains and feeling like a little child wandering in a fairy land. Long live the Queen and her successors!

How can you say such barbarity! In the Anzac war in 8 months Australia died 8709 soldiers, New Zealand 2721, Great Britain 21255, 1358 British India 1358!
In World War I, the total British dead was 960,000 and 2 million wounded!
@@jamielyallleathan I can see what ure trying to say and I appreciate it and Britain's incredible sacrifices throughout ww1 on so many fronts but the Gallipoli campaign was so important for Australia as it was the first major battle for Australia as a unified country of only about 4 million people at that time and our" blooding" as a nation where the soldiers gelled and fought brilliantly and gallianty under appalling conditions and from that April day a new Australia was born , united , proud and much more cohesive and resilient from what had previously been six separate competing ,argumentative, squabling colonies and states finally become one proud united country.
I might add the Aussie diggers did amazing herculean feats in Nth West France under our national hero Gen. Monash in 1918 which directly led to the German collapse several months afterwards.

ANZAC Day is not just a special Remembrance Day for those who have fallen, injured or never to return…..it’s also a reminder always for every generation the casualties and tragedies of war…..

Duke of Cambridge has become the man his mother wanted him to be: humble, dignified, yet with an approachability that helps people relate to him. He will be a magnificent king one day. His grandmother (and both of his parents) should be proud of who he has become.
We all remember the fallen with our ANZAC allies whether or not we are citizens of those nations. We have fought together in almost every conflict and been loyal allies and friends.
Prince William always discharged the British Royal family members duties and it's very important for continuing every small events to motivate everyone in the Royal family
