The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend a service at Westminster Abbey as part of the ANZAC Day commemorations.
The Royal couple are hosted by the Dean of Westminster Abbey Dr David Hoyle, who introduces them to New Zealand's High Commissioner to the UK Bede Corry and his counterpart from Australia George Brandis, before they listen to passages read by the two High Commissioners and an oration by Hoyle.

Seeing the Cambridge's so often, shows you how many duties The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh carried out! Saying that, I do think William and Catherine do a great job and carrying on the Queen's legacy and I am very proud of them and my Queen!
It isnt just what we see, but the amount they need to do, the reading and preparation beforehand in order to discuss with knowlege and understanding. A lot of prep goes on behind the scenes, not just hair and fancy outfits.

William and Catherine certainly did us proud - as did our Anzac boys - including my grandfather who was in the NZEF, fought at Gallipoli and managed to get out alive. RIP the Anzac veterans.
Popular modern history tends to concentrate on what the USA did and in doing so overshadow the monumental sacrifices of the Commonwealth countries. In both WWI and WWII, while America was twidling its thumbs and making up its mind which side to back, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India and Nepal, 9 different African countries, and all the Commonwealth islands of the Caribbean and many more besides, pitched in and sent their best and bravest to fight with the UK. That should never ever EVER be forgotten.

I think William will be an exceptional monarch especially with Catherine’s support. He found the perfect partner. She is humble, kind, caring, sympathetic, empathetic, and a good person. There will be no drama with Catherine. She understands the role and respects the Queen and Prince Charles. William and Catherine understand the true meaning of a life of service. It isn’t about money and ego. It is about supporting and helping the British people in good times and bad times. I hope as time goes by Charles and William can support each other.

I have never heard of this but I do love seeing HRH Prince William sitting in the seat HM sat in for Prince Philip's memorial service. It fits Prince William so well. I noticed that Princess Catherine is wearing the same type of headband like she wore to Prince Philip's memorial service. Is it supposed to be more like a crown? She looks 💯 beautiful. That white and black is just gorgeous. Love this couple so much.

Duchess Catherine is always perfectly composed and beautifully turned out. The Cambridges are radiant jewels in the Crown.
ANZAC Day commemorates and remembers those brave troops of New Zealand and Australia who fought and died as our allies in WW1 and WW2. On Remembrance Sunday (each November) we remember all people from all corners of the world who have fought by our side since WW1.

Her name is Catherine. When William politely asked the public to refer to his wife as Catherine, I'm fairly certain he meant everyone and all the time. Why does Harry's wife (who changed her name to a middle name) get 100% respect, but poor Catherine is still called K8? I guess Harry is listened to but William is not.

Or any of the Royals. If you track her last 102 days, she was only speaking to 6 people (and 4 were due to financial considerations).
We are still living with the damage she inflicted at that time. She blackmailed the Queen (so that the Queen could not protect her own son and heir when Diana started taking huge bites out of him starting in 1983). Now, Harry is doing the SAME THINGS to the Queen and Charles. Evil exists in the forms of Diana and Harry. Fantasizing about Diana is ludicrous. The only people who "admire her" or "praise her" never met her! The people who knew her, could not stand her. If you have not gone back at least 4 generations, to see where the money and the connections to the Royals came from, and if you haven't studied her 5 sources of mental illness, you know nothing about Diana or the enormous damage she inflicted on everyone who knew her..

But, some insist on following the nasty press, who depended on that name to mock her when she was dating William. We can't win over the press until we win over the people. Of course H and MM are pushing that she be called K8, so there are also the "sugars" who refuse to call her Catherine.

I had forgotten the poppies are worn for remembrance on ANZAC Day in addition to other occasions commemorating those who have died in the service of our nation or the allies.
The good people of Australia and New Zealand paid a high price in blood and treasure in two world wars.

When I was school - the chapel had a garden with a circle of rosemary bushes. At ANZAC Day service we wore sprigs of rosemary cut from the chapel garden.
