  • I just flew out to check out Matt's Grand Opening of the Westside Collectors Car Storage in Culver city, I was quite impressed. Take a look at a walk through video of the facility, no corners were cut with this one!

      He had to put those planters because of building code. The city wanted him to catch like 100 percent of the rain water. He made videos bitching about it.

    • @ChopStickZero
      @ChopStickZero 4 роки тому +8

      yeah it seems seriously impractical. You would think he would at least position it so, that the back stack has room for the cars to drive off. Instead he has to first clear the first stack/row to get to the back one. Or since its 2020, you would think one could buy such mechanism that would move sideways and possibly outwards plus youd leave one row empty so you could deliver any car without moving anything.

      In Brooklyn a shitty parking spot in a barely indoor building is like $400 a month so do the math on what these would cost. More than a decade ago I had a friend who was a general counsel for a Fortune 500 company and he owned and rented and sold parking spots in Chicago for people that wanted an extra spot for one of their Ferraris or whatever and at the time I think he was selling them for $50,000 plus a spot. The Forza set up is a complete eyesore. From the chair being in your way when you walk up the stairs, to all the exposed wires. Looks like a messy teenager's room and has no place in such a nice facility imo
