Well it don't look like much but those patterns work the best, I'll spin a few up and give them a shot, when the ice recedes

Thank you...Yes Rhea seems to have been mostly associated with Salmon and Steelhead patterns. But I am finding many places for it on trout patterns. The Rhea is slender, stronger and more fitting than ostrich feather on the smaller fly patterns.
What brand of thread are you using? Semperfli?
Hi, I am using the Semperfli Nano Silk in a 18/0 white on this pattern.
Are you using a norvise bobbin spool on a dr. Slick bobbin holder?
