30 years ago I was the bar manager for the Comedy Circuit at Snowbird. Kevin played there a couple of times a week at a stretch. I was his driver and when my car broke down we both road in the back of a truck from the main location in Midvale. All the way up the mountain we talked. And after closing time we sometimes played a little pool and talked some more. What an intelligent, lovely and surprisingly serious man. I'm just delighted to see him here, with 6.5 M views and knockin' it out of the park. Well done and well deserved. Hats off Kevin from Kelly, way back in the day.
Yeah... I'm originally from Belgium and we were one of the first houses in the street to have TV. We had two (2)national channels which both started broadcasting for the first time in 1958, one in Flemish ( similar to Dutch) and one in French. In the early 60s they would purchase programs and series from the US because it was cheaper than producing their own, including Lassie and Flipper... Zorro and the Monkees were the others I remember. That's how I learned to speak English... listening to the words and reading the subtitles in Flemish... Amazing how well that works...

"bad language" has a place in comedy (and drama), but too often it's used as a "shock" to deflect the audience from a lack of talent. Overuse of "bad language" without any real reason lessens the "shock" effect anyways, Leading to....Exposing the NOT FUNNY aspect of much modern "humor".

I really love the variety in Kevin Jordan's humor. He time traveled to a past a lot of us can relate to, as well as knowing what's up with the younger generation of today, and so much in between. @Michael Norris I wonder...if a video of joe rogan or bill burr got downvoted, would your mind go straight to , racists downvoted them? I have a sneaky suspicion that it wouldn't. Seems like you see things through the lense of race. Not a good look. You don't know why it got downvoted so you shouldn't toss around the word "racist" like confetti. It only cheapens and trivializes actual racism. Tighten up...
those who dont like police
All the ACAB people downvoted I guess
I bet a lot of younger people probably feel a bit attacked by this. Every one of his jokes revolved around teens and young adults being lazy and boring and over stimulated. Selfish etc. Isnt that right 17?
@Nuff In you DO realize this is about COMEDY , right ? Never ceases to amaze me how we got from a simple question regarding votes for a comedian to whatever bullshittery that is.
What a totally refreshing comic.
So glad I "accidentally" found this show. Looking forward to hearing more from this hilarious talent.
I like how uses the torch to communicate with the audience so they know which member he's talking to
Never seen that before
This guy is so underrated
So you are either British or a DR. WHO fan .

I'm so glad I found this! I'm not exaggerating when I say he brought tears tom my eyes!! "Seventeen, what is this? No, but you're so close!!"
"Who knew I was the glue holding that whole department together."
hilarious
*T.J.* that's my initials also , Cool. . .
Why isnt this guy on national TV? Best comedy in twenty years.
Classic
I'm wondering who just retired within the last few weeks..... 👀
I'm glad he does the whole the "old person vs. young person" without just nagging on either group. It's all in good fun, no bitterness. Great special!
agree
Yeah
Yeah
He's pickin' on 'em, but it's all in fun
It's easy to understand... Half of his 'poking' at youth comes from "superiority"... the other half from "envy"....
I know (from personal experience.)
One of THE funniest comedians. I've had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Very personable. As always, THANK YOU for your service Kevin!
20:54 As a 17 year old watching this, I find this extremely wholesome that entire generations have different things that connect them 💙
Just thought of this moment and spent a good 10 minutes trying to find this exact moment, bless you for putting a time stamp 😂❤
Didnt even need to curse for impact and wouldnt guess hes an ex cop. Great set.
Sithreis - comedians can’t curse at Drybar, it’s part of the contract to appear there.
@Raoul Fleckman I'm more intimidated by an overly calm cop than a belligerent one, personally. You never know what they're thinking lol
Bet yall are from utah
I love comediens who dont swear. I can enjoy them with the volume up high and not upset my Mom. And this guy is so funny. Win-win.
@Raoul Fleckman love him from England 🇬🇧
I really love the variety in Kevin Jordan's humor. He time traveled to a past a lot of us can relate to, as well as knowing what's up with the younger generation of today, and so much in between. Did not linger too long on any one subject, always brought in the humor of everything he reflected on. Now, THAT is how comedy is meant to be. I mean REAL comedy. I don't mind bad language, it can have it's place, but he didn't have a place for it. He is a credit and a comedic treasure! Thank you Mr. Jordan for the laughter. Well done sir!!
Agree completely. Thx for saying it.
He's great and really funny. I love how he interacts with people and incorporates props. It's not just a comedy show, it's a performance and I think that's great.
The pencil, nickel, pliers, brown bag, phone book, hanger, he wasn’t wrong 😂😂😂 childhood memories 😂😂😂
I use the channel changing thingie to operate my window AC...
The book cover !!!!!! I'm dying here.
Anyone remember "rabbit ears" ?
My first thought for the brown paper bag was "Halloween mask."
Kevin is freakin Hilarious! 😂😂😂 Everyday life stories are definitely the key to a laughing crowd. He is not crude. Just good clean humor! Loved it.
This guy is really funny. I’d go to see him in person. Great show

I really laughed outloud! My 20 year old kids were sleeping and I was laughing out loud and didn't care !!!
Oh my gosh I'm sending this to all my friends!!! This guy IS a Comedian ! I haven't laughed this hard in forever !!!

I love the candy necklace joke and sound effects. Plus, the Etch-a-Sketch, who didn’t build stairs with that thing. I work on a computer all day. When my eyes start crossing, I rewatch this set. It’s always funny!
Never heard of him till I saw this video, Awesome and so funny real humor!! I'm still grinning. For sure the best comedian I've seen in a long time.
My face hurts from laughing!
Lots of laughs with out profanity.
Just pure genius.
I would love to hear more stories from him. Please bring him back!
He is a rerun of my entire childhood....so hilarious. As soon as he started with the munchkin voice he had me. I could not stop laughing; my face hurt, I was laughing so hard!!! Love you Kevin.
"I bet both your knees are real"😂😂😂😂
I saw your comment just as he said it 😂😂😂
No lie. I'm turning 58 and both of mine just started killing me. Probably have 2 new ones before I'm 60.
The roller tape sitting in the backseat of a station wagon he tapes his mouth and puts his hands behind his back to look like he's been bound and gagged

I'm an introvert. Things are normal except I don't have a job. Instead I'm on unemployment and I play video games all day. Imo things are better. Except for death, y'know.

Without a doubt Kevin Jordan is a phenomenally gifted natural talent. I laughed so hard I peed a little in my britches.
Out of all the comedians scouring on dry bar when I've been bored, only a few really floored me and I wanted more....He is so far above the bar. I can just keep watching him whenever I need a lift....He rules. So intelligent, What's a record player?
Most people don't even realize how big of a sense of humor you have to have to even try being a cop. This guy is the real deal.
Cops "doing their job" isn't funny. It's dangerous to civilians.
Carol Jo Martin Cops doing their job is beneficial for law abiding civilians, it’s dangerous for criminals.
Correct, his whole life has been a joke.
@Sable Burden They usually do. It's the few bad ones that make the news.
Well yeah but it's usually "hey (partner) you see that guy minding his own business? Watch this" and then the city does an "internal investigation" that ends with a paid vacation for the useless waste of oxygen they call an officer
This guy can work a crowd so well.. *better* than some of today’s most famous comedians
His delivery and timing are exquisite!
One of the best Sets I've seen in awhile, done very smart and clean. He needs to be writing for a Sitcom, it would be a hit.
Holy crow he is got to be the funniest human being I have seen or heard in over 10 years! And genuinely clean fun humor! Great stuff! I hope he takes off. 👍
RC in KY He’s not new. He just doesn’t usually show up on Drybar.
This is hysterical. A good trip down memory lane, all too true also. I loved watching this so much. My parents had that 3rd rear facing seat in the station wagon too.
