I love the passion and knowledge Jesus has for these plants. I especially appreciate his weaving in the cultural significance to the local people. What a rich contextual layer that perspective adds to ones appreciation for these unique and beautiful plants. Loved this episode and Jesus's energy. Thank you for sharing. Now I need to plan a trek to Tucson. LOL

I enjoy listening to him speak, but next time I’d wish for the camera to have a lens hood or pan over a touch, to prevent the sun flare from being on his face.

Desert plants are so cool and interesting. Each one looks like sculpture. Very beautiful...and very interesting how the plants are consumed as food, and how they adapted to harsh conditions over the years. The host, Jesus, is an enthusiastic speaker about each one. I really enjoyed this. Thank you. :)

I loved this. What a great presentation! I love creosote! I grew up in Boulder City, Nevada, and spent my youth exploring the desert around my home. Creosote is what home smells like to me.

Jesus has a wealth of information on those desert plants. I even learned a few things. Having lived there for a decade and being a cacti n succulent enthusiast, this is saying something.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Chockfull of ethnobotanical knowledge, holstered Leatherman, Felco and Opinel in the back-pocket, this man's a contemporary druid.

Minks are very clever and persistent. I have experienced mink attacks twice and each time they killed all my quails. They can get in through holes one inch wide. Sorry about your loss. I know exactly how you feel. 😢
