Great film James, very interesting to follow along and see your processes both photographic and editing!
Many seem to think defacing of these buildings is a modern phenomenon, I think the main difference is that with modern ink pens, paint etc the defacing is just more obvious, particularly graffiti ! Some of the English cathedrals and churches I've visited over the years often have rudimentary carvings and scratches/scrapes into the masonry which can be hundreds of years old! I'm guessing some of these marks may be left in your edits if they appear to be of ancient origin! Cheers Tony.

The people that desecrate these beautiful old buildings are just scum! There is no need for it at all. Anyway, another great video from yourself as usual, and some lovely images.

Good final image there James. I just finished editing an image there and likewise had to deal with various areas that had graffiti on the subject. I gave the AI generative fill tool a try out in photoshop and it done a decent job and only needed to touch up small areas with the clone stamp.
I think I will always stick to the manual way for larger fine art printing. Can't see the quality being there (with gen Ai) for big print works.
