You should use a spiral tap if you want to use a drill to tap holes. A spiral tap is what is used on CNC machines to tap holes. The spiral relief allows it to self clean the chips out. They even make them with a drill bit on the end so you can drill and tap in one operation.
Got a buddy that is super smart on dc wiring, or ac. He’s a self taught ac man that understands how stuff works. I’ve seen him on multiple occasions reach into a loom of 50 wires and say, that one right there is the problem, and be exactly right. He’s wired 3 of my race cars and a dozen others. It’s simply amazing. I remember when we were wiring 10-12 years ago on and nitrous cars, he could make a relay make another relay tie your shoe strings if you wanted. During that time we were talking about making a plug n play relay, progressive board for race cars. Should have done it because they’re everywhere now. Love the info on the Channel man
I'm going to inbox Austin on Facebook but I'm looking to upgrade my complete car harness because it's eaten up. So, I hope he's ready because the lights to the fuse box were chewed on and I want to find out if first he wants to take on a challenge like this but also has some good aftermarket concepts for better lighting as well. I want a fob/ button type of ignition, all the accessories that are available from the factory but better
As a step father who's unable to have my own biological children (I'm a quadriplegic in a wheelchair) but I'm an active part of my stepson's life and this means so much to me.
Dont know about drag racing but speedway and circuit racing do not allow holes drilled in rollcages. Drag and drive cars do not have wipers,,, yet keep waffling about being road legal! Commonsense would have them but it seems they are not 'trendy'
@@ldnwholesale8552 yeah in drag racing it doesn’t affect the certification if your doing 1/8 holes for mounting and securing components it’s acceptable. I know other racing organizations are a little more strict when it comes to modifying the chassis.
ALL roll cages have holes drilled in them! If they're welded up correctly. There are holes drilled all over, to create vent holes, for the hot gasses to escape, from welding. If you don't drill holes(usually at the w3ld joints), you'll never get a good finished weld. It would blow out, from the gas pressure. Do you have a reference, for these rules?

Thank god John didn’t wire this car. The other ones were all red wire and speed nuts
Needs spray paint where all the wires are exposed,I suggest red
