veteran here, for completing constellations, i started with wasteland before moving on to valley and then forest, but one thing i will note is that while the earlier constellations take less candles and hearts to finish, the later constellations have cooler elder hairs. and also imma be back to update this once i complete vault and prairie, which shouldn't take too long since i just have a couple heart nodes left. and also to add on to travelling spirit info, one spirit comes every two weeks, and sky's social media accounts will release the dates of the travelling spirits during the month as the month begins. for me, (i'm in EST), travelling spirits come at reset on Thursday aka the reset that changes from Wednesday to Thursday. for me, that's 3am on Thursday, but for PST players, that would be midnight on the dot. one other thing to note is that travelling spirits are actually pretty expensive, especially for new players. cosmetics range anywhere from 20+ to 70+ candles depending on what they are. masks will cost anywhere from 24 to 42 candles, capes are normally 60, 65, 70, or 75 candles, and the same applies for pants. each travelling spirit only costs 13 hearts and 2 ascended candles, 13 hearts are for emotes and the 2 ac are for the wing buff. also flying takes a lot of practice so i would recommend that you rack up some winged light and practice flying at homespace or in prairie where there's a lot of opportunities to recharge and you can also figure out how all the flying mechanics work and get used to the most efficient way of flying. once you master the basics though, there's actually a lot of other stuff to do, too. you can make a ton of really good friends, but a lot of it depends on luck and you just have to keep putting yourself out there to friend more people. i actually had a brief phase where i would friend just about anyone i met and that's how i've ended up with over 260 friends. oh and on that topic, your constellation at homespace will only show 72 friends at a time, but it'll rotate through your friends every time you come back to homespace from either restarting the game or just popping into another realm and returning home. and of course there are also things known as oobs, which are just out of bound areas you can explore. there's a lot of really popular ones you can find if you just search on youtube for sky cotl oobs or something similar and it's a lot of fun getting to explore them and see if you can find oobs for yourself! i've only covered minimal info but i'll come back and update this comment with a document link for a guide i'm making currently. good luck and peace out for now

Eden you must complete the game to in order to go in eden. There will be two phases or three one you have get to the house that has one wing light. The second phase is a bit hard to do. Krills and rocks are in it. Which makes it way more harder to travel and go to the last phase. There are many wing lights tho! Last phase… now you have gone to the last part.. AHH- welp at least there’s no krills- give light to the child that also done what you’re doing!
And so if you have done that and have no wing of light. You… die 😌. Then you should walk all the way to the child that is white- hug it and…. Fly. Until you gotten to the end! Plus you need 20 wing of light to enter eden! ^^ hopefully this helped!
I just started playing the game and i was a bit overwhelmed, this guide helped a lot! I'm also weirdly intimidated by people I meet in the game (I know they mean well, but I just get nervous lol) so most of the time I just run around w/o really knowing what to do lolll

I just started the game, and I was helping a player with finding a spirit, the problem was, I didn’t really know the location of the spirits. I started panicking, not sure how to find the needed spirits for the player who asked me for help… 😅
SAME except we were in golden wasteland so it was a major bummer. I got hit by a krill and lost a level protecting them (rip 💔). I guided the moth back to a safe zone entrance and logged out for the day. I couldn’t go through the loss 😭😭

veteran speaking (kind of) ive been playing sky for around 3-4 years and i sadly still struggle to figure out exactly how to complete the game. ive only done it once or twice with the help of a few friends but i cant seem figure it out on my own. i would love to see a video on how to complete it and what to do in each world (if you havent already made one). Other than that, this is a wonderful video and explains the basics of the game in a short amount of time to the new baby moths that might need it. keep up the great work!
I’ve been playing the game for a little over a year, and when I first played, nothing made sense, and it’s all making more sense thanks to this video, and I’ve started playing the game a lot more often!
Another way u can get hearts is by doing events from past seasons just like me! I missed the Season of Sanctuary but even though it ended, i still completed the events of it and recieve hearts as an exchange. And another way is by getting hearts from a TS (unless u have received the heart from them already). Like normal, the hearts cost 3 candles. Hope this helps to some newbies 😊

After playing Journey on PC and Sky on Mobile, the mobile controls are a little bit too clunky. It’s hard to hover and to glide and it gets buggy if u get stuck on a wall or a rock. I may need to try it on pc

I'm just now realizing that the realms represent your mental/emotional state/phases through life! ⚠️ SPOILERS FOR SKY COTL!!! ⚠️ In the beginning with Isle of Dawn and Daylight Prairie, it's like your early stages of human life where you are discovering new things and feeling the world for the first time. Everything is fresh and joyful! Then you get to Hidden Forest, where it's like in life where you are now a little bit grown and you're facing harder things! Then there's Valley of Triumph, where you are discovering things about yourself and progressing through more life. I think this because of how this realm has racing down fast slopes, flying races, and musical elements from Harmony Hall. This realm I believe represents you finding your passions! As well as testing your abilities! Then there's The Golden Wasteland, which is kind of the state I am in right now as a teenager, where life has gone downhill, and things are negative. The one phase that is iconic in human life. It's hard to find the silver lining in most things, as symbolized by the realm's lack of sunshine and light sources. But as you grow older in life, the more you grow mentally, and you become more knowledgeable about the world. That's why after Golden Wasteland, there's The Vault of Knowledge! After the negative phase in life, you start to finally see the good in things, the magic that life can bring, and how things can be built back up to be positive! And lastly, there is The Eye of Eden. I think this realm represents the rest of you're adult life, where you are facing challenges, while also finding comfort and positivity through it all! You get beat down, but you try your best to get back up! You also try to help others who are struggling in this phase of life (as well as in Eden) as well! After all the effort you put on your life, after trying your best through challenges, sometimes it's hard to continue, for, everyone has an end to their life at some point as you have grown old. It's represented in Eden after you have saved as many statues as possible, but now, you freeze into a body of rock. Humans die, unfortunately. But, I believe in many religions, there is a form of an afterlife! One that is beautiful and bright, and many things about your human life you didn't know before is revealed to you! Of course in Sky, you are reborn, which can actually represent other religions too! Thanks for reading ig it was long but I was very passionate about this

I got the game many months ago, sitting in some arena thing listening to what ever the big lady thing said, got confused by the game and then flying about as a bird. Completely ignored the game as I didn't understand it at all. Then came back to it recently and went ooo it's changed! I nearly died in the waste land which was kind if scary. I just recently downloaded it. I wanna say my experience so far, but first what are those little bugs that attacked me? I saw them in Hidden Forest and I just dipped, stopped playing for the day. Is there any way to prevent them from attacking you? Experience: Still new, but I am loving it. Since I'm using mobile flying is a little hard for me. I'm no 100% but I do like getting a lot of these different outfits and I have no idea what the heck I'm supposed to do. I always wound up in the middle of clouds, crash landing in every possible way, or running around in circles to find spirits. I'm also not a social guy (even online) so although I do make friends, I am not that all comitted in being the guy to send hearts (especially since I'm struggling getting candles in the first place). Also, I don't know anyone (personally) that plays Sky, so playing with someone and having proper communication will be a big problem. There was one kind soul who helped me in finding most of the spirits in Praire. From looks alone, it was easy to tell they were a veteran. It was hillarious as I crash to every spot we land as they wait patiently. As we fly on our to another spirit, with me being slightly behind, one of the Manta Rays (i think that is what you call them) suddenly caught me and I went zooming away. My guide managed to track me down and waited for me on an island nearby. I regret not being able to befriend them while I had the chance, as I made the foolish mistake of not making the first move (and thinking that they didn't need someone new like me). Everytime I visit Praire, I think of them.
The lil things attacking are crabs! The comunity loves em cuz theyre cute hehe. Fun fact, when u deep call u can pick them up! (Press and hold on ur skykid)
Also if u struggle with getting candles, theres 2 ways to get them: A) do a candle run. Candlerunning (cr) is running around every realm lighting all the candles. At first u have no idea where all the candles are but as time goes on u start finding your quickest routes. I personally watched a video in slowmotion while running to learn my route. *You can only get 20 a day and the longer u play the smaller the light from the candle gets and the less light u get* Running the whole map to get those 20 candles takes abt 2hrs.(The more u do it the faster u get) The second way is by doing events: Every *uneven hour* there are different events to do. Each one takes 10 minutes. 1) The Geyser event at the Sanctuary islands: from 00:05 to 00:15 2) The Grandma event in hidden forest : from 00:35 to 00:45 And then in the game theres also events that bring temporary events ( sounds complicated but its really not) Events are way less exausting so I recommend doing those when u can I recommend looking up a guide on events :)
IMPORTANT QUESTION. I know that seasonal stuff and buying things gives you outfits and accessories, but what abt free stuff? is there any way to get free customization things?
I'LL NEVER FORGET THE BETRAYAL I FELT FROM A RANDOM PLAYER. I was a solo adventurer all the time and managed to unlock all the doors including that Red evil door. I entered it and it was H*lla hard!! But luckily, some random guy helped me and didn't stop helping me out even when I keep falling down and keep on getting hit by those huge rocks flying around. I was so thankful for what he did. THEN!! he lead me to this dark cave and told me to get inside. I was hesitating because he doesn't wanna Enter but he kept encouraging me to go. SO, I DID! I mean, hello? I'm strong and independent that I don't need anyone's HELP!!(He helped me in that world tho) And to my surprise!! That stage was even MORE HARDER THAT THE REST!! AND I CAN'T EVEN GO BACK!! I tried exiting the game... Open it again... AND I'M STILL THERE!! So I thought, maybe the only way for me to get out of here is to go further. So I kept on moving forward and saw multiple dead bodies along the way and I light them up thinking (maybe if I managed to light them all up then I can finally go home) And so I kept moving forward and eventually DIED...... Then the rebirth thing happened.... And I lost everything.... My wings came back to it's original state.... I lost hope. But some random girl came to me and be friended me. She said she was old player but made new account and kept dragging me all along. We've been together like that. But we never meet again😭 I miss her😭 Girl from China "Thank you and I love you as a friend" 🫂

This game is Early Access on Steam, right now. I had installed this on my iPad few years ago, i didn't understand any game mechanics as there was no tutorial except for the keybinds and just clean pretty icons which explained whole lot of nothing. Maybe they did 😂 and im dumb. IMHO they should add more text and some interactions to teach a slow player like me, it feels too minimalstic. So much so it feels broken. But thank god for UA-cam 😂
I still dont understand this game a bit. Played it for two hours. Just followed where i need to go just kept following and it keeps progressing no story, no quests, nothing. They should give an auto complete button like if there is jothing to do why is this a game. Am i really missing something, I expected it to be something like Genshin.
I left the game cause when i completed the story my character restarted & returned back from point 0 where i have no wings or anything , didn't know what to do & how can i get too much wings & other stuff like other players so i see no point of even getting wings since i will lose them all anyway

I have no clue how the game really works still someone else got it to where we could chat but then they left and IDK where they went then I tryed telling people to follow for a 2 person door and almost got it till the dam sky animals flung me away and I lost the person I was tryna lead to the door then I tryed getting other people to follow by using the poiting anf one that looks like "follow" but they arnt coming to the door the cameras really weird to maybe it's just im new and it's a Nintendo switch but I try to just fly one way and one way only then suddenly a sky animals had me and I get turned into spaghetti and get lost pleaseee help

Those are accended candles you can get after going to eye of eden (last realm/ending of the story)

The chat feature is nice and sometimes useful but o don’t favour using it because I can never type fast enough on my switch and it gets confusing 😅

After playing Journey on PC and Sky on Mobile, the mobile controls are a little bit too clunky. It’s hard to hover and to glide and it gets buggy if u get stuck on a wall or a rock. I may need to try it on pc
I just started playing recently. My first gameplay I entered the music voyage- thing.
I tapped on a player and they just handed me a candle.

Ive been playing for 3 years and it just dawned on me that some of my friends ive known.....for 3 years. 3 entire years we've been lighting eachothers candles up back and forth. Damn
I'm just now realizing that the realms represent your mental/emotional state/phases through life!
⚠️ SPOILERS FOR SKY COTL!!! ⚠️
In the beginning with Isle of Dawn and Daylight Prairie, it's like your early stages of human life where you are discovering new things and feeling the world for the first time. Everything is fresh and joyful!
Then you get to Hidden Forest, where it's like in life where you are now a little bit grown and you're facing harder things!
Then there's Valley of Triumph, where you are discovering things about yourself and progressing through more life. I think this because of how this realm has racing down fast slopes, flying races, and musical elements from Harmony Hall. This realm I believe represents you finding your passions! As well as testing your abilities!
Then there's The Golden Wasteland, which is kind of the state I am in right now as a teenager, where life has gone downhill, and things are negative. The one phase that is iconic in human life. It's hard to find the silver lining in most things, as symbolized by the realm's lack of sunshine and light sources.
But as you grow older in life, the more you grow mentally, and you become more knowledgeable about the world. That's why after Golden Wasteland, there's The Vault of Knowledge! After the negative phase in life, you start to finally see the good in things, the magic that life can bring, and how things can be built back up to be positive!
And lastly, there is The Eye of Eden. I think this realm represents the rest of you're adult life, where you are facing challenges, while also finding comfort and positivity through it all! You get beat down, but you try your best to get back up! You also try to help others who are struggling in this phase of life (as well as in Eden) as well! After all the effort you put on your life, after trying your best through challenges, sometimes it's hard to continue, for, everyone has an end to their life at some point as you have grown old. It's represented in Eden after you have saved as many statues as possible, but now, you freeze into a body of rock. Humans die, unfortunately. But, I believe in many religions, there is a form of an afterlife! One that is beautiful and bright, and many things about your human life you didn't know before is revealed to you!
Of course in Sky, you are reborn, which can actually represent other religions too!

They're from the Kiss emote spirit from season of rhythm. This spirit actually came back like 2 weeks ago so I doubt it's coming back any time soon.

@@samara707 I'm pretty sure that's kiss emote pants. Festival spin dancer doesn't have pants like that and juggler and the puffy ones don't look like that. It's from kiss emote. You can also look at the boots who belong to the blow kiss spirit.

I got the game many months ago, sitting in some arena thing listening to what ever the big lady thing said, got confused by the game and then flying about as a bird. Completely ignored the game as I didn't understand it at all. Then came back to it recently and went ooo it's changed! I nearly died in the waste land which was kind if scary. I had zero clue how to get out of where I was so found safety and went back to the home.

I just recently downloaded it. I wanna say my experience so far, but first what are those little bugs that attacked me? I saw them in Hidden Forest and I just dipped, stopped playing for the day. Is there any way to prevent them from attacking you?
Experience: Still new, but I am loving it. Since I'm using mobile flying is a little hard for me. I'm no 100% but I do like getting a lot of these different outfits and I have no idea what the heck I'm supposed to do. I always wound up in the middle of clouds, crash landing in every possible way, or running around in circles to find spirits. I'm also not a social guy (even online) so although I do make friends, I am not that all comitted in being the guy to send hearts (especially since I'm struggling getting candles in the first place). Also, I don't know anyone (personally) that plays Sky, so playing with someone and having proper communication will be a big problem.
There was one kind soul who helped me in finding most of the spirits in Praire. From looks alone, it was easy to tell they were a veteran. It was hillarious as I crash to every spot we land as they wait patiently. As we fly on our to another spirit, with me being slightly behind, one of the Manta Rays (i think that is what you call them) suddenly caught me and I went zooming away. My guide managed to track me down and waited for me on an island nearby. I regret not being able to befriend them while I had the chance, as I made the foolish mistake of not making the first move (and thinking that they didn't need someone new like me). Everytime I visit Praire, I think of them.
The lil things attacking are crabs! The comunity loves em cuz theyre cute hehe. Fun fact, when u deep call u can pick them up! (Press and hold on ur skykid)
And the “Manta Rays” are just Mantas lol

Also if u struggle with getting candles, theres 2 ways to get them:
A) do a candle run. Candlerunning (cr) is running around every realm lighting all the candles. At first u have no idea where all the candles are but as time goes on u start finding your quickest routes. I personally watched a video in slowmotion while running to learn my route.
*You can only get 20 a day and the longer u play the smaller the light from the candle gets and the less light u get*
Running the whole map to get those 20 candles takes abt 2hrs.(The more u do it the faster u get)
The second way is by doing events:
Every *uneven hour* there are different events to do.
Each one takes 10 minutes.
1) The Geyser event at the Sanctuary islands: from 00:05 to 00:15
2) The Grandma event in hidden forest : from 00:35 to 00:45
And then in the game theres also events that bring temporary events ( sounds complicated but its really not)
Events are way less exausting so I recommend doing those when u can
I recommend looking up a guide on events :)
Also if u would like some extra help I would love to help :) I like helping new players a lot.

I'LL NEVER FORGET THE BETRAYAL I FELT FROM A RANDOM PLAYER.
I was a solo adventurer all the time and managed to unlock all the doors including that Red evil door.
I entered it and it was H*lla hard!!
But luckily, some random guy helped me and didn't stop helping me out even when I keep falling down and keep on getting hit by those huge rocks flying around.
I was so thankful for what he did.
THEN!! he lead me to this dark cave and told me to get inside.
I was hesitating because he doesn't wanna Enter but he kept encouraging me to go.
SO, I DID!
I mean, hello?
I'm strong and independent that I don't need anyone's HELP!!(He helped me in that world tho)
And to my surprise!! That stage was even MORE HARDER THAT THE REST!!
AND I CAN'T EVEN GO BACK!!
I tried exiting the game... Open it again... AND I'M STILL THERE!!
So I thought, maybe the only way for me to get out of here is to go further. So I kept on moving forward and saw multiple dead bodies along the way and I light them up thinking (maybe if I managed to light them all up then I can finally go home)
And so I kept moving forward and eventually DIED......
Then the rebirth thing happened....
And I lost everything....
My wings came back to it's original state....
I lost hope.
But some random girl came to me and be friended me.
She said she was old player but made new account and kept dragging me all along.
We've been together like that.
But we never meet again😭

This game is Early Access on Steam, right now. I had installed this on my iPad few years ago, i didn't understand any game mechanics as there was no tutorial except for the keybinds and just clean pretty icons which explained whole lot of nothing. Maybe they did 😂 and im dumb. IMHO they should add more text and some interactions to teach a slow player like me, it feels too minimalstic. So much so it feels broken. But thank god for UA-cam 😂

There are graphic quality settings you can change on the options.

I have no clue how the game really works still someone else got it to where we could chat but then they left and IDK where they went then I tryed telling people to follow for a 2 person door and almost got it till the dam sky animals flung me away and I lost the person I was tryna lead to the door then I tryed getting other people to follow by using the poiting anf one that looks like "follow" but they arnt coming to the door the cameras really weird to maybe it's just im new and it's a Nintendo switch but I try to just fly one way and one way only then suddenly a sky animals had me and I get turned into spaghetti and get lost pleaseee help
