Hesperia Lake: Last Trout Stock of the Season

In this video, we visit Hesperia Lake for their last trout stock of the season. Their last trout stock of the season was on Thursday April 4, 2024. This stock consisted of 1000 pounds of Mt. Lassen Rainbow and Lightning Trout. In hopes of smaller crowds, we fished it on Sunday rather than Saturday. However, after fishing a few days after the stock, the fish began to act finicky. All the fish caught in this video were on the 1/64 oz. SaTan Baits Mini Jig under a bobber. The bobber made for an easy to way to cast a light jig to the fish in the wind and wind gave the bobber a nice action drifting around. We hope you enjoy this video and tight lines.

Damn bro that lightning is beautiful. I was there a week later but only caught a turtle. No fish at all but I didn't know it was the last stock of the season.
