- It's been a grind fishing Hesperia Lake this season, but I finally landed a limit mainly on the Hook Up Bait Jigs. I did land one on the drop shot, but I had to try something new (tube jigs) on the drop shot to make it work. I hope you get on some nice Trout soon!

What up Tim I have been watching you videos and I like your silverwood one by the marina… I’m a fellow high desert fisherman that’s trying to get back out bass fishing..just looking for some tips for bass ether at the narrows or silverwood or any other ponds/lakes you have been at.. anything recently?
Thanks Corey! Appreciate the comment! My last couple of Bass were caught at Silverwood (Stripers & Largies). The bite has slowed for me because of the colder nights when I can fish… But the temps will be warmer soon so the bite will be better. I mainly use jerkbaits, rat l traps, flukes, and occasional top water lures there to get strikes. My biggest Largie came in at 7.50 lbs near the marina this last season. At Mojave, in the Spring/summer the bass are near the shore in the tullies. I’ve caught on flukes and plastic worms. Hoping to get some bigger ones there soon, nothing over 2.5 lbs for me just yet. I’ll probably catch you out somewhere fishing!!! Good luck 🤙👊🎣
Hey Thank man I’m looking to get out more and just fish I use to go to Hesperia lake but I’m not really into much trout lol I will but I want to start doing large mouth possible striped there is a few little lakes down the hill I want to try like fisherman’s retreat, secombre and Cucamonga -guasti mountain lakes, Prado, paris lake and possibly lytle creek lol

They should just call it a pond, been there and it's not hard to catch fish there, they stock it with cats and trout all the time

@ReelTimeWithTimm if you never fished the Colorado River, I live about an 1 hour an a half from there, I'll show you some spots to catch monster bass of all type and some giant flathead cats.
@triggerfish2711 totally awesome! I have fished a section of the Colorado River when camping on the California side near Parker, Arizona & caught some Smallmouth Bass. I know the Striper are bigger out there…. I game to meet up sometime if you want to collab. 🤙
