Samsung's customers in the US / EU have been saying for years that we wants premium cameras, a slightly thicker outside display, bigger battery and slightly thinner phone. We were given excuses as to why they couldn't do it. Turns out they could all along?
It's the Samsung mobile CEO's fault. He said foldables are too wide and kept the narrow design. Now years later lost the market share because of it. He was recently spotted using a S24+ not the Ultra. The ceo is content with a midrange samsung with mediocre camera setup.
@CraigDIGz you're paying for a 2 thousand dollar phone and you're saying it's okay for them to have the same camera on their foldable phone for the last 4 years? Clown behavior from clown consumers. This is why apple and Samsung control the consumers like sheep. 🤡🤡
From an aesthetic POV only I'm not the biggest fan, but I am 100% on board with the other changes, particularly the dimensions and thickness. The aspect ratio of both screens of this device makes so much more sense than previous Galaxy Folds IMO.
Totally get that! The aesthetic changes can be hit or miss depending on personal taste, but I agree-the new dimensions and thickness are a big win. The aspect ratio does feel more refined on this one compared to earlier Folds, making it way more practical. It’s good to see Samsung listening to feedback and making those improvements!
Yep that's why I.switched to OnePlus open. They had the nerve to raise the price for the same damn phone. If anything it should've been cheaper. Tis the same damn phone it's been since 3. F that.
So is that why the Galaxy Z Fold 6 went on sale? I just picked up an Unlocked 1TB version with an S Pen case for under $1200 USD, from Samsung's official Shop app.
Samsung should've held off on the ZF6, & given everybody this new device instead. Regardless of the asking price, given all those new features, I think many others would have purchased it; including me.
It just goes to show that competition is the friend of consumers. Samsung would have made the screen of the Fold 6 3-4mm wider than what it is now and would have put a battery 🔋 of at least 4700-5000mAh in its Fold 6, that we would not have all the current debate🤷🏽♂️ Samsung has squeezed the lemon 🍋 a little too much, and its customers have been a little fed up with Apple-style 🍏 incremental evolutions, it's that they want to make Samsung pay.
3:23 FALSE. The price of the Vision Pro isn't the problem. It could cost $1,000 and it still wouldn't sell well because most people do not want to wear a HEADSET. If anything, consumers want Smart Glasses. NOT a headset. Meta Quest 3 isn't selling well because again, it's a HEADSET that most people don't want to wear. Meta Quest 2 sold like 20 million units only because of the 2020 pandemic lockdown.
Appreciate the comment! I see where you're coming from. You're right that many people aren't too keen on wearing headsets, which is a major hurdle. But I think the Vision Pro's price is a significant factor too-$3500 is a tough sell for a lot of people, regardless of how innovative it is. Smart Glasses could be a better fit for the general consumer, but Apple's still in the early days of building out this category. Meta Quest 2's success during the pandemic definitely proves timing matters as well

Im upset we wont see this in the states but I look forward to the Fold 7 now that we know Samsung can upgrade the cameras, battery, and display sizes. Fold 7 should be a hit and worth upgrading from my Fold 5.
Do you think Samsung is going to make the Fold 7 similar to the Fold Special Edition? What if the Fold 7 is missing the 200mp camera or doesn't have an 8 inch inner screen?
Is this the Z Fold 6 Slim that is getting an October release in China and Sth Korea because it has the same 200mp camera and same specs on the other camera as well as the thickness, but leaks also report the slim will have a larger main and cover screen and be cheaper than the recently released Fold 6 and also have a titanium frame.
Hi Sal. Do you think Samsung is going to make the Fold 7 similar to the Fold Special Edition? What if the Fold 7 is missing the 200mp camera or doesn't have a 6.5-inch outer and 8-inch inner screen? Possible that these Special Edition features are experimental for only the market and may not see the day of light on future models? 🤔
So, there are two options here. 1. They might release two Fold 7 models - a regular one and an Ultra version. 2. Or, they could just rename the Fold Special Edition to Fold 7 and give it a new chip.

Samsung folds r the worst with all the crease and low quality camera , hardware problems, low battery life
This is the worst of all premiere brand folds, Samsung are relying on their extended support system to sell their very inferior product, I have the Samsung ecosystem so I bought the 512gb model. I won't be buying anymore Samsung products, this is the worst of the Premiere foldables, inferior in every way
battery's still trash 🤣
Not gonna lie
I think my next foldable will be a Chinese brand one 😢
all fake!!
These phones are pieces of $HIT. dont buy them. Im on my fourth zfold from hinge breaks and dead screens.
I've been using Folds and flips from the very first one. Not one has ever had these issues. Same as everyone around me. Just say you're salty Apple has no foldable 😅
@user-ig9rh2jq8x i will be happy to show you the emails where ive had to send this thing back four times. This phone is a complete piece of trash and Ill tell it to anyone I can.
I dont care about the price. Wider screen better battery and camera. Dont care about a sylus either. The fold 6 is the same as fold 3. Miss me witht he 3 millimeter and square screen BS. Its still the same damn phone.
