After creating the new DWORD "UndockingDisabled" I got my taskbar back however the start button doesn't work, and there's no clock or volume on the right side. So when I go back in and rename the DWORD to "((UndockingDisabled))" then I lose my taskbar again.
So i got my issue fixed. I disabled the "UndockingDisabled" fix and then using PowerShell I unregistered and reregistered all windows applications using the following coding.
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Restarted my computer after PowerShell was finished and my taskbar was operating perfectly.
@@chaz1488 i am also getting the same issue how to solve pls tell me
Thank you it works
Thank youu
Did you fixed it or not
Omg i love you ! I was stuck with this problem for hours !! Your a life saver
still not showing for me. The taskbar is just a black line and if i hover over it it has a loading symbol on my cursor, and if i click on it my homescreen refereshes. Additionally, whenever i try to close apps such as youtube, taskmanager, etc. It wont close and say "unresponsive" every single time. Moreover, (On youtube), when i try to go full screen on a video it doesnt work and says "Google chrome unresponsive", even though i dont have chrome open. Finally, no keyboard shortcut works so if i wanted to go onto files or a certain app that isnt on my homescreen, i have to go into cmdprompt. Please help.
I've tried to do a DISM & SFC scan to see if there were any malware on my pc (Noting happens).
I've tried to get support via microsoft chat (they couldnt help)
Could it be that i need to upgrade my RAM because its faulty or do i just upgrade my whole pc?????
I have the exact same problem

Thank you so much for showing about the second reset! Good day!
Thank you too!
Worked the first time - Thank you so very much! I did not have to do the second step. Keep the videos coming
Glad it helped!
Thank goodness i followed through to the second restart because i couldn't open my folders. I thought it was already okay after the first restart since the icons were there and ignored how it wasn't fully fixed ... Thank you so much for the complete and thorough instructions. Have a blessed day❤
Glad I could help!
You are an absolute genius! The 2nd reset really helped! Saved me from a lot of grief after i wasted hours trying to get back my taskbar
It's worked🙂. Thank you bro you just saved me from heart attack 😶. Thank you very much❤❤. And you got a new subscriber❤❤.
Hello. Unfortunately it seems that on the latest version of Windows 11 This method does not work. Also in the first place one should not fiddle with registry. I don't think that any of my application is causing this problem. It has something to do with Windows 11. Just some of the icons of installed applications are not showing. I tried everything - restarting explorer and windows, rebuilding icon cache of explorer using command prompt and this registry method (which made my taskbar disfunctional, small and transparent). While I am sure that I can do a Windows reset or reinstall to solve this problem, I will not do that because I have setup my system a specific way over time and it would be a lot of work even just to reinstall all the softwares and I don't want to do it.
We have the same problem. I recently updated mine yesterday and the taskbar was missing, and the method was not working. Is there other way? I''m too anxious about this one TT
@@dkvp3Sir Do you have Google Drive or Google Chrome installed? Few people have reported using Revo Uninstaller and uninstalling these and restarting might fix the issue. Now I don't suggest trying to uninstall such important programs, but incase if you decide to reinstall windows, then in that case it makes sense to first try this, as already later one will have to reinstall these.
@@lifeindivine I want to give it a try, but can you give me a tutorial?

but what was the reason the taskbar was gone?

Didn't work for me. 1st step, the Taskbar came up but I cannot hit Start button, the shape of Start & task view button like in Win 10 (mine is win 11), I mean the Start button (Win Icon) is not rectangle.
I renamed the regedit, and the Taskbar back to where before I renamed.
same problem broo
taskbar is back to as it was in win 10

Can it be that CCleaner and its automatic cleaning is causing this problem?
Awesome
Thank you very much
It worked for me.
You're welcome!
Thanks sir , it was really helpful ...🙏
Glad to hear that
Just be sure your operating system is in 32 bit or 64 bit mode.
After watching video I select 32 bit. Then I have faced problems like start button not working and file explorer also not working. Deleting UndockingDisabled 32 first. Then same way selecting 64 bit works for me.
If this comment helps you, kindly reply.
Thank you so much sir!

Thanks very much. I am still slightly stuck. After the first restart the taskbar reappears but the start button and search button don't work on the taskbar. After I rename the undocking disabled the start menu opens and I can click on items but can't type in the search bit of the start menu. When I restart after that the taskbar has disappeared again. Any ideas?
