Thank you for this! I am now going to name my first child "WindowsChimp" in your honor. (If you believe that, I have some oceanfront property in Utah that I'd like to sell you.) But seriously, thank you for this video.
Hey…I have this problem here. I upgraded from windows 10. I’ve tried everything. I have a 256gb nvme, and the s drive is used as my primary drive. Nobody seems to have mentioned this. I think the cause and the solution lie here! Hoping someone more skilled will look into this! I upgraded to windows 11 with my nvme/ d drive setup! What I’ve found is the task bar works every single time if I unplug my d drive! It seems the upgrade didn’t change something on the secondary drives. Everybody has the same advice, but nobody seems to have any idea why! I hope this helps someone more skilled skip some steps and and shared a much better solution!
"Upgrading" to Windows 11 was probably the worst choice I've ever made on my computer. I keep having to come back to this video at least once a week because this god-awful operating system keeps breaking. Every time I run the same "Repair System Files" code you have listed and every time all three scans show that the computer is running perfectly fine. Then and only then can I restart the windows explorer and actually be allowed to use my computer. Such an awful curse Microsoft released onto the world.
I feel the same. Worse thing I've ever done. Its like they don't want you to see what is running. I could see the taskbar this morning *new computer* and not its gone. Just more drama.
Windows 11 was running perfectly for 6 months but after an update this problem appeared. I tried everything from other tutorials also, but I only fixed creating a new user. Many thanks!
what a legend . running the repair sorted my taskbar issue . im on a on a brand new gaming pc with a 4080 in.. i paid ALOT for this pc and then this happened , i was skeptical on weather or not i should run the cmd prompt. but i sent it , and it worked. thank you brother
05:06 Perform System Restore works! The latest windows update on 15th Feb 2023 messed up my startup screen and the taskbar. I’ve been doing all restore practice and finally this works! Thank you so much!
Oh my god thank you so much!!!! I tried everything for like 4 hours until finally 5:05 worked for me! I have my exams in two days and the amount of anxious I was, was unimaginable, thanks a ton for such an amazing helpful video!
You sir are a lifesaver. 3:15 worked for me. Windows explorer kept restarting causing my screen to flicker every second and my taskbar to not show. Now it's all fixed.
Thank you so much! My computer's search bar has not been working for weeks. I've tried different solutions I've watched here on UA-cam. None of them worked. I tried the "Repair System Files" solution you recommended and it worked for me. After corrupt files have been repaired, I restarted my computer. Finally, the search bar is now working! By the way, I'm using Windows 10.
Thank you for the video, solved the problem by running the PowerShell option. The Windows installed on a fresh PC. I didn't imagine this kind of issue will occur. Great Help.
Hey so uhm my Windows 11 problem is pretty different. It will most likely not be fixed, but I am still asking for your help. So like my Windows 11 has a black screen whenever I restart it. It never fixes. I tried to uninstall the update but I couldn't. I tried every method I can do but it did not work. And whenever I restart my Windows Explorer, it does not restart. Instead, it turns the screen black and never appears in the background processes. This has been an issue forever. Please provide me with some help.
Of all the videos I've watched and articles I've read, this was the only solution that worked. Thank you so much! But I'd like to ask what should I do if my files had gone after updating my laptop to windows 11.
Thanks for your help, system restore helped me to resolve the issue, even our technical team guys were unable to support me. Wonderful job keep it up...
So for me the solution was a bit different. Like a combination of 2 i suppose😂. So at first i tried just restarting the windows explorer but it didn't work. So i tried and tried various other options shown in the video. When i finished re-install and re-registering the windows apps (which alone didn't resolve the issue), thought to try the Restarting Windows Explorer again before restarting the windows. And Voilaa it worked! Thank you Windows Chimp!! For me the combination of(in sequence order) 3:00 and then 0:50 worked💜
Restarting worked for me using the Alt+f4 route. I originally was able to restart by hitting the Windows key and selecting restart from the Start Menu there but that did not work. It didn’t shut down any programs or shut down the machine completely prior to restart. Thank you!
What if I say none of these worked for me🙃, you also won't believe like others, right? No problem. In my case non of these worked, restarting explorer does nothing at all, system restore fails idk why from evert point, on updating, issue increased and in all other fixes, nothing happened. I have been just watching tons of video & articles and trying, but nothing worked. Two options I didn't tried, I can do a fresh reset but can't, i leave in vilage, i don't have any hard disk or anything to have a backup or no one in my neighborhood & I want to stick and use windows 11 because at last it's design is dope🥺, i want to fix, not downgrade. Hope any magic happens a day comes, when i would stop searching fixes. Btw thanks for video, you tried your best.❤️ Going to watch another now...😓
