On euro spec e90 n52, you have to remove the exhaust to get access to the bank 2 sensor 1 because the header is different and the sensor itself is pointing towards the firewall and located behind one of the pipes, which makes it impossible to remove from the top. Fun times!

Mine is very tight and rust penetrant hasn't worked so far. It's been 4 days I'm trying to replace it.
