Tropical Update September 7th Invest 91L Forms in the Gulf of Mexico

Today, our attention turns to the Southern Gulf of Mexico and Invest 91L. The NHC gives rising odds that a system will form over the weekend early next week in the Southern Gulf, and track towards Texas and Louisiana. Heavy rain is forecast through next week in the region. Impacts from at least a Tropical Storm are rising, and a hurricane is not off the table yet. Folks across the area should closely follow forecasts over the next few days.
