Oh my gosh that was awesome all that you found! Beautiful! Happy girl/woman/ lady today! Thanks for taking me with you to see.and learn so much,! YAY!
SWEET specimens! 😁
Love your style of presentation, the detailed views and descriptions. By the way the background music is awesome, it adds a lively demention.
Yup, I'm sooooo jealous. I loved all the rocks and the old equipment
You did well and have a pocket full of beautiful specimens
Keep the adventure going and keep having fun.😊 😷⚒
What an awesome spot!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Absolutely amazing! So jealous, I'd be there for DAYS 😂😊
I love your enthusiasm, it's addictive.
I haven't been on that general area since the 80's. I had a very hard time making it up the hill., my pack was getting too heavy. I would sit down and find so much that I didn't want to leave.
Been in Hawaii chasing volcanos and lava since 1994. When my friends travel around the world I ask them to bring me a palm sized stones, don't waste money on t shirts. I've gotten some very interesting pieces mostly from non geologists.
I have a couple small rocks with tiny deep forest green crystals on the surface. I find stuff along roadsides as I pick up garbage. Lots of random but interesting colors, shapes, features that mean nothing to me other than 'hey! COOL!'. 😂
I Love to learn that some things I have, are special.
Thank you for taking us on your adventures and teaching us.
My next adventure will be getting a tumbler, but I'm afraid I will ruin rather than shine.
Keep on Hounding ❤
I want to THANK YOU PERSONALLY FOR THE VIDEOS YOU MAKE AND THE CONTENTS!!! I am so fortunate/BLESSED to be in the group of under 5000 viewers who have seen ALL OF THE WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL CRERATIONS THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN MY EARLIER YEARS LIVING!!! My goodness the vast/endless varieties of ALL CREATIONS SEEN AND UNSEEN!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH ME AND THE REST OF THE WORLD, YOU ARE UTTERLY AMAZING, JUST AS MY TWO DAUGHTERS!!!
I love how you read the landscape. You have an incredible knowledge base. It's fascinating! I'm totally geeking out on your geology content. Thanks for sharing. 💎
Cool finds.. ive never heard of several of those. Thanks for sharing
Wild specimens! Now i need to go through all the buckets and crates of rock i found on a job last month because as ive watched some of your video's i think ive found chunks of some of the rocks that you have identified so now i know what im looking at! Freaking awesome
Another reason for placing the timbers along the side of the road (and I think it's most likely why the timbers were used in this case) was to help prevent the side of the road cut from washing out by rain runoff.
I would love to come find some one day with you and Bryan! I just had the scare of a lifetime the other day! And, you should love every second of your life.
I watch your videos every chance I get.
Hopefully you'll take a look at the one I just posted! I'm looking for the spot it struck but I haven't found it in my thick grass.
Much respect always!
Kim K.
I found your videos a couple hours ago. Really like them. Something different. Thank you.
I just found your channel and Im so so happy I did... LOVE your energy!!! When I can feel someone through the screen it's awesome. Thank you for being able to break things down to a way I can understand. Like minerals vs rocks! Think we'd have great fun on an adventure and heavy bags by the end of it too!! LOL Happy findings✌💜🙃🙏
17:35 🎉Bingo! 🎉18:44 Hysterical!😂 19:20🎉 Wowza!❤21:04🎉Oh my Freaking God, Breathtaking 🥳
Beautiful specimen of Dioptase. I thought it was malachite for a moment there.
Those are beautiful colors. Love your enthusiasm. I'm 75 and love to collect rocks on my dog walks. I have an entire porch full. Interesting to learn the make up of minerals from an actual rock geologist
Why are the mining spots just left messy? Is it public land? Not sure how claims are on public/non public,? Land. I'm surprised they aren't required to clean the sites up.
sometimes they just are... I'm not always sure why. each permit has requirements for reclamation and I have no idea what this one is/ was. but I do enjoy seeing all the old equipment :) I make the best out of it.
@@ElleyKnowsRocks thank you. I like seeing all the machinery, buildings, and sites too
Yet another great video that makes me lament the drab rocks and minerals in my area 😢
Don't give up on your area 😇
Wow amazing, thank for sharing this 😊 I'm enjoying it like I was there 😄
yay I'm so glad! :)
Nice. I wouldn't have been able to carry it all back🙂
I wanted more lol
Beautiful!
Am imagining how much contamination there is in that area,I live in a similar situation vacant land needs to be monitored for P.B.
That’s some beautiful rocks!
be very careful in the area is a huge Rattlesnake and Arsenic.
while hiking in the area I encountered a huge Rattlesnake right by the old Road to the Mine.
lots of Dioptase crystals in the area
What did you audition for? Wow, those Dioptase crystals are gorgeous! Awesome vid as usual!! ❤
19:22 ------LOVE 💚 *Leo*
A thought, unless it’s exceptional leave specimen collecting till the way down. That way you’ll know what’s there and prioritize. And have an easier hike up.
My bag would be so full lol 😆
I took the smallest backpack this time and that was a bad idea, it was over flowing lol
Awesome minerals that blue is sweet
thank you
Wow! The Azurite would of made me flip. And all the Malachite & Chrysacola would of came home and the Dioptase would be awesome. Tell them birds to get home, I am not is my south diggins

How do clean your minerals?
be careful of The Mine owners can see you or call the Sherif
You are adorable 😊❤🎉
thanks for watching :)
I have found rocks in the area of Superior. Chrisacola, apache tears (obsidion). I enjoy your narration, hikes, views, rocks, etc... But the background music is annoying noise. It distracts from the good content.
I wish she would stop doing whatever it is she has been doing to her lips. It doesn't enhance her beauty, they look disfigured now and they are very distracting. Your natural self is more than good enough Miss Elley.
"Super rare" may be a bit of hyperbole.
Here in Minnesota it’s greenstone which is metamorphic basalt and a weird word metamorphic granite in which feldspar becomes green minerals.
Well the top is nothing more than arterial veins cells and all! Preserved through a process called nucleophilic substitution 😇 and before you argue with me I get my answers from Jesus! I wouldn't share this information if I didn't know it was true 😇
I want to hear more about these theories that you got straight from the lips of jesus; do you have a newsletter that I can subscribe to?
Hi,Elly

OUT at 3:38 too much extraneous blab. Sorry dont care about your audition and the local comacon or whatever. Sounds like you are just bragging. Dont get me wrong love love love the the geology education. But the rest is just so much dross.
