    The girl in the first one is just disgusting. She saw for herself the dangers of driving drunk, yet she did it anyway. Then the way she uses that to try to get out of being arrested is sickening. Her actions with the officers is disgusting as well.

      Well, for you and me it seems evident. You lost your brother this way, so don't do it, but living trough it might be really different. What she did was really wrong, and she have to take responsibility for it, but also an experience like that changes you for sure, and everyone copes differently. She might intentionally relive the experience, with a different outcome, we don't know. I can only feel pity for her.

      I've always felt like if you can somehow prove that someone is accusing someone of something with malicious intent or just to cause an issue for that person, they should be charged with false accusations and the sentence should be exactly what they're accusing the other person of.
      If you accuse someone of rape, you should receive the very same sentence you tried to put on someone else when you know they didn't do anything. It can be hard to prove in most situations I guess, but it would be a pretty clear case with that girl who accused the officers of raping her.

    • @TheRealAaronSmith
      @TheRealAaronSmith 6 місяців тому

      @@435cyberteam9 agreed, and you have some good points. Even if it can't be proven everytime, it will reduce the number of false accusations, and more importantly, some false convictions.
      One of my best friends from high school was accused of some sort of S.A. by a girl he hardly knew of even. They had gone to a party seperately, he left shortly(within an hour or so) after she got there and never even spoke with her. Lots of witnesses, for better and worse. I'm still not sure why she accused him in particular, let alone anybody because it was later brought to light that she was never assaulted whatsoever, let alone to that degree. Unfortunately, she had several of her friends provide false statements to the police, leading to his arrest and charge. At school, no less. No DNA, no marks, no evidence of any kind beyond some easily fabricated words was found. It took 3 years before his trial was completed with a full discharge, but within that time he was threatened regularly, lost one of his two jobs, and was jumped several times, as well as being ostracized and losing nearly all of his friends. I was one of the few who stuck around, from my point of view unless he admitted to it or was convicted, there's little reason to believe it or act on it.
      He tried suing her and her friends that made statements against him for defamation and whatnot, and it was thrown out almost immediately. He lost a lot from just an accusation and there was never even evidence to go off of. It cost him a fortune financially and psychologically. It's been over 10 years and it still messes with him, understandably so.

      Such instances typically don't go to criminal courts where information is public, it goes to civil court where such issues are disputed, due to this specifics of cases are typically unavailable to the public and rarely is this pursued in criminal courts, my family has lawyers working both types of cases and from what i can gather civil court pays better than criminal court so unless you are trying to barr someone from getting a job, pursuing such cases in criminal court will take years to process, let alone find a verdict thus attorneys typically advise against such activities, certainly though this act of false accusations needs it's own bill and procedure, but I speak for the time being.

      She refused orders to step out of her vehicle which would equate to resisting arrest. Officers are allowed to apply a reasonable amount of force, depending on the situation, to make an arrest. Should we believe shattering the window of a woman, who was non-violent, reasonable? The officer admitted it wasn't himself when he said, "if you just stepped out nothing would have happened, just a verbal warning." The officers were impatient and continually escalated the situation and quickly turned a non-violent situation violent. She took damage to her persons, property, and mental. She is lucky the officer didn't permanently damage her eyes. Officers take a professional obligation and oath to not "act stupid".

    Yeah, that 2nd one was straight bullshit, power tripping, and instigating. He was frustrated by the protests, and he knew exactly what he was doing.
    How many times has a simple traffic stop for hazard lights being on resulted in requests to exit the vehicle? How many times do they go straight for detainment and glass breaking because he wanted to prove a point, instead of just telling her why she was being detained and asking for license and registration? What they normally SHOULD do.

Is she trying to even up the score by taking someone else out? What a loser.

    The second one could have complied earlier, but smashing the window in so aggressively was just unnecessary. And the officer thinking no one would get distressed seeing this is pure stupidity. That interaction alone proves the points of the BLM protesters: that American police tend to be short tempered egotistical men with a tendency to prefer escalating instead of deescalating and sympathising with people. The woman provided zero threat and for a simple traffic stop, there's no justification for his actions. And then of course the other officers seeing this were ready to man handle her as soon as she exits as if she was some kind of known criminal and was stronger than them.

      @@mikeespinoza5733 ... Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Never realized how true that was until now. I'm not sure what 'gotcha' moment you were going for, but I was referring to @9:20 While the video got shaky after he got aggressive, looking at the height the window was previously, it's doubtful his arm could even fit in the window. At best it was his hand, and when he realized he couldn't reach to open the door, he pulled it back.
      Looking at the position of the window then compared to what I mentioned before, it was rolled up at best a quarter of an inch, and no where near where his fingers that were pulling back from the window. I'd want to roll my windows up more too, if someone tried reaching a hand in there with little warning.
      You can bitch about the law and how he "almost lost his arm!" from slight pressure from a car door window (that again, doesn't seem to have been anywhere near his arm or even his hand), but she was a victim because he decided to escalate an already tense situation. Instead of, you know, deescalating it like they're trained to.
